History: Aurora has always lived in the city. She loves it. The city is one of the most inspiring places you could ever grow up. She was raised well by two successful parents, the lived in a million dollar apartment, that looked over the city. Aurora loved being able to always see what was going on outside her window. When she was 6 she traveled on vacation to England, 7 Italy, 8 France, 9 Germany and at 10 years old she went back to Italy again. Her parent's always agreed on the fact travel was a great way to expand your mind. They didn't want to shield Aurora from the world around her, because it was a beautiful world. During high school Aurora began a class in journalism and never looked back. She even started a blog, to capture her travel adventures in words. Just recently graduating college Aurora was given the gift by her family to travel to Lahaina, Maui. Having never been to the Hawaiian Islands she took the opportunity and write about every second of it.
When Aurora was five she suffered from a long lasting case of meningitis. Spending nearly 2 weeks in the hospital she never left the same. Due to the infection Aurora's cochlear became weak and soft, loosing her sense of hearing. After Aurora was tested her results came back positive. She was deft, for good. Her family recieved a pair of ear pieces that she wears regularly, but it doesn't bring back voices. It brings back noises like car engines, honking, heavy objects being dropped etc. She picked up ASL (American Sign Language) immediately and has been doing to ever since, even so she can read lips fairly well and loves involving herself in conversation. Aurora was sent to an all deaf high school, Redden High, and graduated with honors. She isn't much concerned with her disability and much prefer people treated her fairly.[right]
