Personality

Kyoya is "cool" type. He is cool, logical, and has superior intelligence. He also can come across as rather detatched, and sometimes downright threatening when he wants to. He won't do anything that doesn't have any benefit for him, however Haruhi has wondered if maybe he wishes to gain something intangible from his relationship with his friends.

He is considered the "Shadow King" of the Host Club by Haruhi, controlling all aspects of it while still being only second-in-command. He also considers himself an egoist, despite the fact that he isn't

Equipment

He carries around a notebook and pencil at all times. . .he usually has his laptop as well to check on the club's financial standings.

History

Kyoya is the youngest in the Ootori line. . .while his brothers show less leadership than he does, they are older than him, therefore they will inherit the family business. His father was always seemingly displeased with him. Only one person really showed affection toward Kyoya and that is his sister. He and Tamaki met during middle school and continued their friendship into high school. The two have become very close even though it may not seem it.
