Ouran High School Host Club: Like a Prince

Ouran High School Host Club: Like a Prince

0 INK

The Host Club has moved on, but their legend remains. Now, a group of enterprising young students wants to revive the old club. Can they do it?

1,825 readers have visited Ouran High School Host Club: Like a Prince since Everscale created it.

Introduction

(Disclaimer: Ouran High School Host Club was created by FUNimation. http://www4.funimation.com/video/ )

Ten years have passed since the last of the legendary Host Club graduated. For one long decade, the Host Club has been dead, with no one bearing quite the right amount of flare to bring it back to life.
Now, ten years later, the legend of the Host Club still has not died.
And it has caught the ears of one flamboyant young man.
Now, he walks in the shoes of Tamaki Suoh, the great King of the Ouran High School Host Club, doing what the King did so many years ago.
Gathering handsome, rich young men with too much time on their hands; some likely, and some complete unexpected; to re-form the greatest of all clubs.

Rules
1) Be nice to each other
2) No god-modding/power-playing
3) Romance is allowed, but due to sight rules, nothing too explicit.
4) The show was funny. The manga was funny. Hey, why don't we make it similar here? Some serious plots are expected, but not all the time.
5) Make your characters unique. It's no fun otherwise~
6) The children of the original characters will not be attending. They'd be 10 years old, at most.
7) We will mostly be coming up with our own characters here, with new styles of hosting. Though, of course, where would the Host Club be without a) the King, and b) the Twins?
8) If you have a suggestion for a hosting style (i.e., the cute one, the dark one, the commoner, etc.) please post it on the OOC thread IN BOLD, so I notice it. I'll let you know if I approve. Otherwise, use the ideas in the character list.
9) There may be instances of violence to protect each other, but the Host Club would never admit a full-time fighter. And I'm keeping it that way.
10) Posts must be at least 3 sentences. No one liners.
11) We will be posting in third person. ("I am the King!" He shouted.)
12) You must use the character skeleton provided.
13) ONE FEMALE CROSS-DRESSING AS A MALE WILL BE PERMITTED. THAT CHARACTER IS THE ARTIST.

The sunlight glittered through the massive windows of the Third Music Room. The place smelled of roses, of tea and coffee and pastries. Tsubasa stretched slightly in the sunlight, lounging on an armchair, waiting for the final bell to ring. It was convenient, having a free period during the last part of his day. It allowed him to come here, to help set up for the Host Club and to think through strategies for collecting the rest of his hosts.
Shiki, the Fei twin, Sakamoto... the three of them were going to be the greatest challenges that he had faced as of yet, for his Host Club. He found himself wondering what Tamaki Suoh, the King of the Host Club, had done to collect his wild bunch. This was why Tsubasa chose to be called "The Prince", rather than the King.
He wasn't good enough to be the King.

"Tsubasa-san!" Min's voice came from the kitchen which had been set up in a room off the main room, "Could you help me, please?!"
Tsubasa glanced around, swinging his soft white hair out of his eyes to reveal Min, leaning against the door-frame with four tea-trays balanced on his arms.
"Ah! Min! Be careful!" Tsubasa gasped, leaping to his feet and running to take two of the trays from him, "You could hurt yourself!"
Min smiled brightly.
"I'm fine," He assured Tsubasa lightly, "I'm used to it."
Tsubasa stared after min in utter astonishment as the boy hurried off to lay the tea out.

"It'll be fun!" Xiaohu Fei whirled around in his seat the moment the bell rang, as his brother, Xiaolong Fei started putting his books away. "I mean, it'll be really awesome! We can like...get to know people..." Xiaohu's eyes were wide, pleading, brown pools of utter adorableness as he stared down his older twin brother. Xiaolong narrowed his eyes, turning his face sharply to the side to avoid the power of the stare.

"No," Xiaolong said again firmly. "There's no way I'd subject you to that kind of embarrassment." Xiaolong had done his research. He knew about the other Host Club the moment Xiaohu came up with the idea. "The other twins in the other Host Club had to perform incestuous acts." Xiaolong bit his lip. Originally from China, the two conversed in their native language, although both of them spoke Japanese quite fluently.

It was just easier to talk in Chinese because there would be nobody there to eavesdrop.

Xiaolong headed for the door out of the classroom, his briefcase tucked under his arm. Xiaohu pouted, running after his brother after haphazardly stuffing his books and notes back into his briefcase. "Come on Long-long!" he pleaded again, grabbing onto "Long-Long"'s arm. "Can we just check it out? I promise if you don't like it, we don't have to do it."

Xiaolong closed his eyes, breathing in and out of his nose - a calming technique he learned from all the years of martial arts. He hated it when Xiaohu did this to him. "But then I'll feel guilty," he murmured, stopping in the middle of the hall. The massive windows behind the two of them provided quite a dramatic back drop. He turned to look at Xiaohu. "Hu-hu...I don't want you to feel like you have to give up doing what you want to do for me..." The two of them were the same height - 6'1", both of them with the same physique, the same face, the same eyes, the same lips, although Xiaohu's were turned down in a pathetic pout while Xiaolong's were turned up at the corners with sad acceptance.

"Please?" Xiaohu asked again, voice small.

Sakamoto "Soki" Ryuukasu; age nineteen. Those words were his father's nightmares, during most of Soki's school career fights had been his thing; defensively of course. He'd always observe to deeply into a situation and then, well it wasn't that difficult to figure that out. He sat perched in the very back of the class room, his eyes scaling the pages of his newest book; a mystifying horror. He always did get caught up in those types. four of his digits were pressed against his head while his right hand held the book. He face showing no emotion, yet the suspense was all in his eyes.

Then, out of his world he popped as the bell rang. "Ryuu, you want to come over?" A friend asked him causing him to smile as he closed his book and stood, he wasn't tallest in the school but he was one of them(6'4"), stretching out his long body as he shook his head. "probably not, I'm going to find a secluded place here and finish my book." He stated with a smile, he turned quite quickly and was apart of the massive crowd shoving it's way out the door. Once he was finally out he reopened his book and began to walk down the hall while reading, most people got out of his way rather quickly; the rumors of him being a scoundrel and starting fights with anyone that touched him; well conveniently they were something he enjoyed, it made it easy to get from point A to point B without having to dodge traffic. He flipped the page as he unconsciously moved up the stairs, he knew of a place on the third floor far beyond all the rooms a dark area where he could just curl up with a good book. Ah the best time of the day for him, lazily like a cat sprawled out somewhere nose deep in a good horror book. He turned the corner sharply as he made it to the indicated floor and was off down the hall again, his eyes darting from page to page in rapid succession; the book was starting to get really, really good.

Ittosai gave a very quiet mutter to himself as he wandered down the hall to the third music room. He had left class slightly early, after begging the teacher, claiming that bullies would pick on him in the halls. This was true, so the teacher began to let him leave a little early everyday. He slightly adjusted his glasses, trying to remember why it was he agreed to join the host club again. Oh right, he didn't have anyone. So he was so pitiful, he was willing to do anything. When Tsubasa asked, the quiet boy had agreed because it was something to do, something away from his dreadfully empty home. He opened the doors to the third music room; quickly overwhelmed by the smell of flowers, coffee, and tea. The sudden smell shocked the boy, causing him to sneeze a little. He looked around, spotting a boy with several trays, who he recognized as Min, and Tsubasa himself. He quietly walked in.

"Ts-Tsubasa," His voice was rather quiet, but loud enough to hear, "I-It's Itto." He gripped his book closer to his chest; feeling rather uncomfortable. He didn't want to intrude, he hadn't really done this before, but he was willing to do anything he could to help...

"I-Is there a-anything left that n-needs doing? I-I ca-can help..." He smiled a little toward Tsubasa, then toward Min. He may have been uncomfortable, but that didn't mean that he didn't care. He adjusted his glasses again; feeling them slip down.

Tsubasa glanced around as Ittosai appeared. His blue eyes lit up, and he smiled peacefully at the boy.
"Hey!" He greeted Ittosai, "I'm so glad you came!"
"Mm!" Min agreed, setting down the last tray and moving to Ittosai's side. Smiling happily, he gave Ittosai a quick hug, before turning and vanishing back into the kitchen. Tsubasa shook his head lightly.
"Don't mind him," He advised Ittosai in a quiet voice, "He hugs everyone."

Sayo smiled softly when the bell had rung; she absoloutely loathed history. It was the type of class where regardless of how many study attempts or listening attemps she would give it, nothing ever came out of it. She stood and gathered her books, cautious not to drop her small, black notebook that she held with the rest of her books. If she ever lost it she wouldn't know what to do, it held so many secrets and plans it was uncanny. All of her observations on people and future plans, may it be for the host club or her own personal self. It was a way for her to be able to voice her own opinion out loud without offending anybody. She smirked softly and walked out of the classroom, her feet almost automatically bringing her to the host club.

It was a genious idea really, something Tsubasa had mentioned to her and she agreed to do it; they did need someone to take care of it after all. To add to the fact that it wasn't that bad of an idea and it could actually proce to be somewhat amusing added to the fact to, not that she would ever tell her brothers that she was in it though. She counted the music rooms as she walked by, stopping at the closed door of the music room. She opened it and smelt the fresh scents of roses and saw Ittosai, Min and then the Prince himself. She walked inside of the room and beamed at all three of them.

"Well hello there hotties, ready for a day of finding new members and wooing girls?" She asked them jokingly, winking at all three of them. She walked over to the nearest table and dumped her books on it, all but her black notebook and a pen. "I mean, I can always go talk to Sakamoto, I know where his little reading spot is. Sound good?" She said more than asked, looking over at Tsubasa. "Or do you guys need me here?" She concluded. She really didn't mind with either tasks, as long as she could prove herself to be useful.

Tsubasa gave Sayo one of his gentle, quiet smiles. He was very good at those. Min shook her head, marveling at it.
His personality complete changed when he was hosting.

"It would be nice to have Sakamoto join us," Tsubasa murmured, "Could you...?"

Min laughed lightly. Of course. His first focus would be getting the club to grow. Since he'd come up with the idea, the Host Club seemed to be the focus of Tsubasa's life.

"I can't believe you dragged me into this," Xiaolong muttered, as Xiaohu put his hand down on the doorknob.

"I love you forever Long-long~!" Xiaohu grinned, as he pushed open the door. The two handsome twins walked inside, Xiaolong hovering behind his brother, who, for once, was taking the lead. This guy...this...Tsubasa...was shrewd, Xiaolong had to give him that. Get to the younger brother and the older one would topple like a domino. He remained silent, letting Xiaohu do the talking.

"We're here," Xiaohu marched Xiaolong over to Tsubasa, grinning at the white haired boy. "I persuaded him to come." Xiaohu looked very proud of this face - too proud, in Xiaolong's mind.

He pinched his brother on the arm, before turning to look at Tsubasa. "I'm only here for one time," he replied stiffly, not at all letting in an opening for argument. He was about to turn to talk to his brother, affirming this detail, but Xiaohu was gone.

"Minute!!" the younger Chinese boy called out. "Are you making the tea yet?"

Xiaolong bit his lip, as he looked around the room rather awkwardly. He seated himself on a sofa, his eyes refusing to settle, his body tense. He was ready to spring free and out of the room at any minute. There was no way even Xiaohu was going to be able to make him stay if this didn't turn out very well....

"No problem," Sayo told him with a small wink. She clutched her notebook to her chest and opened the door once more. Before she left she looked over at Tsubasa and looked at him. "You really need to tell me how you get this place to smell like roses everytime this door is opened," She told him with a small smile before she was off. She had seen Sakamoto more than once on the third floor engrossed in a book, something that she had found rather peculiar about the boy. For most people it must have been odd to see the guy read books when they thought of him to be scary. She rolled her eyes and then smiled when her eyes caught him up ahead in the hallway. As she had predicted, he was absoloutely engrossed in what he was reading. Maybe she needed to find out what the novel was called and see if it really was worth reading.

She sped her pace up about, trying to catch up with him up ahead. Her strides weren't too big because she wasn't the tallest around. In fact, her height was quite average; she just felt shorter most of the time because almost everyone was a lot taller than she was. She smiled when she finally seemed to be walking beside him even though he hadn't looked up from his book yet. She just grinned and looked his way. "Interesting book? What's it about?" She asked him softly so she woudln't startle him. She didn't consider the fact that running loudly down the hall only five seconds ago would probably alert him of her presence. She just continued to walk beside him, smiling up at him.

Tsubasa gave Xiaolong one of his eternally gentle smiles, shaking back a strand of his white hair.
"Of course," He replied, "I'm so glad you agreed to come." Striding over, he perched on the arm of the sofa, beside the older twin, "You know, you and your brother go very well together."

Min popped back out of the kitchen with another tray of pastries.
"Help yourselves!" He answered lightly, "There are plenty more where they came from!"

Ryuu was beyond engrossed in his book, his eyes closed slightly as he heard the pounding of feet against the floor trying to catch him. He returned to his book and continued his walk, though once he heard her voice he didn't rise his eyes; or give any indication of noticing her. "Mmmm quite interesting, about a Two men; conspiring against the brother of the man who killed their best friend, it's really interesting cause the two of them end up dying in the end. This will be the second time i read through this book" He stated with a smile, as he closed his book and looked down to her. "Let me guess, again The prince wants me to come and join does he?" He asked already knowing the entire deal; it wasn't hard to figure that out.

He stopped his walking and crossed his arms. "He just doesn't really seem to give up does he?" He asked the rhetorical question as he laughed alittle. "Alright then; lead the way, I'll attend today and if I find it enjoyable enough I'll join the club." He stated in a silk like voice, one never used often due to no one having the courage to ever talk to him. He turned once more waiting for her to take the lead. He'd attend, this host club at least for this day, and if it was really as fun as he had been told the first time he'd been asked, he'd join. Though he wasn't sure that it would be, then again with people so afraid of him; it was hard to imagine winning the hearts of girls. He had lost himself in thought, and forgot that he'd be following her.

Ittosai's eyes widened a little under his glasses when Min hugged him. He shook a little, but nodded; telling himself repeatedly in his head that it was normal. He then attempted a smile at The Prince before jumping a good foot off the ground with a small squeal when Sayo walked in. He turned swiftly; but noticed who it was an gave a small sigh of relief. He smiled at Sayo, until she made the comment about wooing women, it was then that Itto began to shake a little. Why did he agree to this? It was a bad idea, and it would end with him with his head in a cake or something... But he tried to smile and tried to laugh. He gave a small sigh and looked to Tsubasa once again. Listening to the two of them speak of a student Itto didn't know too much about, but for some reason, he thought that he should fear the name. Sakamoto was the bad boy guy right? He sighed and began fidgeting with his glasses. That could be bad for him. His eyes then went to the twins. One seemed slightly more... Feminine then the other. The Feminine one was speaking to Min, the other seemed to be off pouting in his own way. He probably hadn't wanted to come. Itto smiled at Tsubasa.

"I-I'm guessing you w-want those twins both in the club?" He mumbled, almost to himself, "I can understand why, th-they are bound to be helpful when it comes to g-getting girls... The whole two is better t-than one th-thing..." He moved the book from his chest and flipped through the pages, attempting to remember which book he was carrying and why. Then he remember the history report he had to do and gave a sigh. History wasn't fun, never had been. That and homework wasn't fun. Combined, the two just sucked. He turned and realized that the Prince had at some point left and gone to talk to the other twin. He looked down, feeling flustered at his own mistake and slowly walked over to the two, remaining quiet for the most part. He listened to the Prince attempt to trick this twin into the club and smiled a little. Persuading him would probably take more than that, but Itto would wait and see first.

She pretended to frown, feeling the corner of her mouth twitch from trying not to grin. "Well damned, that was fast. Didn't even let me explain or anything, I'm somewhat dissapointed," She told him, still trying to fake pout but gave up and laughed slightly. She really didn't seem to worry too much about him, he seemed like a nice enough guy; but then again, they all were, Tsubasa made sure of that. And then she double checked it through files that she had managed to get ahold of, though she would never tell anyone how. She didn't think he would want the new reputation of the club spoiled so early on from having a violent person hosting there.

She led the way to the club, the walk not that long considering they were already on the third floor. She opened the door quickly and smiled when she smelt the fresh scent of roses once more. It seemed like she would never tired of that sent. She looked over as she saw the twins on the couch. "Well, look at that. Two new recruits in one day. We're doing a lot better than I thought we would be," She said to no one in particular, a grin forming on her face. Of course she realized that Ryuu was only there for one day to see if he liked it and she was assuming it was the same for Xiaolong. But if she could help it, she would make sure they stayed.

Ryuu was right behind her, and as the scent of the surrounding air hit him he closed his eyes. The scent of the roses, the tea; it was all but intoxicating. He reopened his eyes as he looked around; first to the so called prince then to several other boys that were standing around; twins and then one with glasses. He laughed alittle bowing slightly. "well then I'll introduce myself if anyone doesn't know me I'm Sakamoto Ryuukasu I go by Ryuu or Soki..which ever is easier.." He stated quite calmly rising from his bow turning his attention fully to; The Prince. "You know not when to give up huh?" He asked with a soft smile and laughed alittle.

He walked forward alittle placing a hand softly on the shoulder of the male in glasses, standing near the Prince and one of the twins. "So, I've one and only question." He stated quite calmly clearing his throat. "Why did you choose me out of the bunch, I'm sure there is plenty of young men without a troubled past that could fit in perfectly around here. "He stated quite clearly, his voice soft and soothing though it had a bite to it; depending on who you are that bite could have several different effects. "I mean, girls run from me, boys hide. I can't take two steps down a hallway without nearly tripping over someone cowering from me." He said this and laughed alittle. "You'd think rumors wound end after everyone sees me with a book, I don't know to many brutes that read literate that doesn't have pictures.."

Tsubasa's sweet smile hadn't stirred from his face. Now, he swung off of the couch, his shoes tapping lightly against the tile as he straightened to his full height, quite nearly as tall as Ryuu. His blue eyes sparkled as he reached out, placing his hand on Ryuu's arm.
"I chose you because there are lots of boys who would fit perfectly here." He told Ryuu, "This isn't a club for just any boy who wants to spend time with the girls. This is a place for friends."
He squeezed Ryuu's arm slightly, and then let his hand drop, turning from the others and striding towards the kitchen.
"Min!" He called out in his breathy voice, "It's almost time!"

Ittosai smiled, listening a little more as people were talking. Suddenly, he saw Sayo walk in with the boy she had mentioned earlier. Itto finally remembered who this boy was. He felt a little nervous as he walked over, and made himself look away. Soon, he felt a hand on his shoulder and gave a yelp; jumping and twisting around. He shivered a little, looking at the boy who had said he wanted to be called Soki or Ryuu. He continued to shiver as he looked the man over.

"H-Hi..." He mumbled a little, "I'm g-guessing Tsu-Tsubasa has asked you t-to join m-more than once... I-It's really n-not that bad..." He tried very hard not to come across as scared, knowing quite well that he was probably failing.

"I-I'm I-I-Ittos-sai. P-People c-call me Itto. It's nice to m-meet you?"

"So you're going?" Zato was facing away from Noel, staring out the window, the limo ready to take him home. It was an unspoken agreement that they didn't speak of Noel's choice since she made it a couple of days ago. This was the first peep Zato had uttered concerning the club. It caused Noel to speak carefully, though from an eavesdropper her voice would have sounded smooth and tactful.

"I'll be back before it gets dark, as I always have." She responded as she gathered her book bag, they were the only ones in the classroom.

"I'll send the car for you so you don't walk." He said dryly as he got up, not showing whether or not he approved or disapproved. If Noel was difficult to read, Zatoishi was even more difficult. He walked out, hardly making a sound.

Noel breathed more easily as she made her way to the third music room, stopping to chat with some girls as he passed. Uncharacteristically being social, she used a wink to entice them to come along with her, one of the club’s first customers. It was most likely Noel’s looks that got them to come along, with mysteriously different colored eyes and such gentle features, she had never socialized before and now she made them curious, the added bit about her appearing to be a boy made them even more interested. Everyone wanted to be around a pretty boy.

“Oh I’m simply a bit shy when I’m with Zato is all, but really I’m an aspiring artist, I’ll show you some things over tea eh?” She purred coyly while opening the door for them, four girls in total had fallowed Noel. “Are we open yet? We have some girls in need of attention here.” Noel announced with a smile, escorting the ladies in.

Shiki sniffed, his arms were crossed and he was leaning on the wall, he could smell the scent of things both delicious and pleasant all the way from the room next to the one he was sitting in. He was quite resiliant in his refusal to join a ridiculous Host Club put together in a matter of days, after being asked by Tsubaba (as Shiki called him) profusely to join, and was in denial that he was interested. Most of the reason for his interest was of course because of Min being involved heavily in the order of things, and lately Min's attention had been focused more on the club than on Shiki, which Shiki didn't like. They were friends at the moment, but that didn't stop wishful thinking.

"I'm NOT going over." He mumbled to himself as he crossed his legs, his foot tapping the side of a lone table to sat at. He'd probably go over in a little while to say hi to Min and complain of his absence though.

Soki tilted his head questioningly at The prince but only nodded. Though his full attention was soon on the boy with glasses as he yelped and flipped around. He really couldn't help the large amount of laughter that flowed from him as he tried his best to listen to the male. "It's a pleasure Itto and yes this would be the second time he's asked me to join." "He shook his head alittle smiling alittle more. "Truth be told I was thinking of saying no again, but this time I thought I'd give it a go, and Itto; relax I'm not gonna hurt you I promise." He said with a wink, though his attention got turned to the door as he watched someone else walk; and with four girls right behind. Ryuu wondered how long this would last with him here.

He moved off alittle to lean against a wall; if any of the four girls wished to chat with him, he'd be here though he was sure he'd just get to watch and see how it was done today; so far this place wasn't so bad, small group, the smell of roses tea and sweets was always a plus. He was sure this place would be good to curl up with a book too, speaking of which. He pulled the book from the pocket of his blazer opening it to his page and once again held in his right hand his left hand gripping his right forearm for stability and comfort. He felt better now that he was deeply consumed by his book, and he'd stay like this until interrupted.

Ittosai continued to shiver habitually, but smiled when he heard Soki's replies. He slightly gave a nod as he heard him mention not hurting him. Itto gave a small sigh, about to comment that most of his actions were unintentional when suddenly the door was opened and Ittosai spotted Noel and several girls that followed him in. Ittosai's eyes widened as Soki left to some remote part of the room to read a book and he had been left, yet again, to fend for himself. He sighed and walked a little ways over; stopping just by the door with a quiet sigh. He then remembered his job and walked over to a coffee table, placing his book on it and pulling out a pencil from his pocket. He sighed very softly looking at the project. To much work... He hated it. He looked at Noel, smiling just a little. The girls with him were bound to multiply within several minutes.

"G-Gooday everyone," he spoke to the girls, then smiled to Noel. He still wasn't so sure about this type of stuff.

Xiaohu brightened as the girls, as well as Noel entered. He walked over, grinning broadly with his hands spread. "Welcome!" he laughed, eyes bright. Xiaolong still seemed to be sulking, but it was not like the older twin to let his brother go at anything by himself. With a defeated expression, Xiaolong pushed himself away from the couch, moving smoothly up behind his twin.

"Hu-hu," he purred gently. "Don't scare the guests." The brunet's eyes focused on the girls behind Noel, before he took a hold of Xiaohu's wrist and pulled his brother away from the door.

"Long-long, thank you so much for doing this!" Xiaohu whispered excitedly, throwing his arms around his brother from behind.

"Just. One. Day." Xiaolong muttered, but there seemed to be a certain lack of...determination in his voice that had used to be there. "Just this one day I can act like a flirtatious boy interested only in girls."

"And me," Xiaohu murmured back. "Remember what the first club's twins did?"

Xiaolong raised an eyebrow. "Sure, sure...."

"Sounds like the guests have arrived," Min observed. Tsubasa, standing behind him, turned and moved to peer through a crack in the kitchen door. He smiled slightly. The guests already seemed taken with Itto and the twins.
"Go on," Min encouraged, "I can finish up here on my own."
Tsubasa laughed softly.
"It's not like I was actually doing much..." He murmured.
And then he ducked through the door, and his personality completely changed.
As soon as the girls could see him, a flirtatious grin split Tsubasa's face. He moved gracefully across the room, bowing in welcome to the girls.
"Welcome, welcome, my princesses," He called to them, "Please, join us~ We have much to choose from."

Sayo grinned as she saw guests come through the door, were people already taking an interest in the host club? She was actually happy that people were coming, it meant that the word would get out sooner about the host club. And thinking of publicizing, we need to have an event that shows the girls here just what the host club is about, perhaps a gala? Sayo shook her head and grinned as she opened her notebook and quickly jotted down a few ideas of publicizing that she would have to seek permission for first. She would need to get onto that so she could turn then into real ideas as soon as possible. She snapped her notebook shut and capped her pen, suddenly feeling the need to help out before any other girls came in.

She smirked and grabbed her books off of the table where she had placed them before and brought them into the kitchen. She looked over at Min and laughed softly, she viewed him more as a little kid than an actual teenager. He was just to peppy all the time and Sayo thought it was completely adorable. "Hey, Min, you need help with anything before more people show up?" She asked him, wanting to be out of the way by the time more girls showed up.

Min glanced around, smiling happily.
"No, I'm fine," He laughed, even as he flipped a pancake up without looking, "You want to try one? I learned to make them this morning!"
That morning, he had made breakfast for his family. It had been a wonderful thing. It didn't happen often; usually, his father was away on business, or his mother was at work, and he didn't have anyone to cook for except himself. He loved it when his parents decided to take the day off and let him make them breakfast in bed.
