{ Personality }
Before Ashley met Victoria, she was an innocent butterfly. Wouldn't harm a fly and easily brought a smile to everyone's face. Her best friend was her older brother Andrew. But when she was about 10 she met Victoria Montez. And interesting demon that intrigued Ashley. Ashley had trusted everyone she met around that time of her life. But she didn't know what Victoria was up too. By the time her friends and family found her she was corrupted beyond belief. Her thoughts unpure and evil. Ashley no longer trusts anyone would rather be with out them. Ashley became more seductive and hot headed with age.

Ashley doesn't have any friends and she believes that friends are created to stab you in the back. Everytime she makes a new friend she finds out that they used her and then she has to kill them. The amount of people that she had to eradicate because of false loyalty is way too many. It's best if Ashley doesn't make any friends and she tries not to. Sometimes she finds someone that intrigues her, but that does not last long. The only person she only trusts is Victoria. In fact Ashley loves Victoria even if Victoria won't love her back. The one sided love and the need to always satisfy Victoria, might be the only thing keeping her going.

Ashley has learned the art of manipulation and uses that to her advantage. And she is almost a natural born liar. Ashley likes the thought of power in her hand. She likes to be on top and everything she does is to benefit herself. She cheats and plays dirty to get what she wants. And if she needs to rid of a few people she won't mind doing so. Anything extra is because she had free time. Even though Ashley looks like the little girl that used to put a smile on your face, she is whole knew person. And she would much rather watch the world burn.

{ Powers }
Ability to change into a dragon || Her dragon is black in color and large. It is able to breathe fire and fly. It takes a lot of energy to be able to shift between dragon and human. She can potentially lose her human side when she shifts. Her mother could also find her in her dragon form so she just tries to stay away from it.
Ability to manipulate the earth || She can move anything from rocks to plants. She must have full concentration on what she is trying to manipulate. She cannot change the shape of the earth no matter how much she tries. Can only use this ability in the earth realm.
Enhance Abilities || Her senses are heightened. But when she is using one sense the others are dulled. She can run faster than the average human, but she is limited to how far. Unfortunately she isn't fast enough to cross water. Takes more energy to run than it does to change into a dragon. She is stronger as well, but she can only lift about the size of two average size cars.

News of Erieda's escape had traveled fast. Once it reached Victoria, it was almost as if everything was coming down around them. Victoria was furious and vigorously planning the recapture of the former fae queen. It is rumored that her escape had not been Erieda's own doing. Another fight against Victoria was brewing, now that the Seelie Queen had been freed. Ashley would again have to fight the rest of her living family matters so that they love of her life can keep her throne. She has killed many of her own and has even come face to face with her brother. Ashley wasn't able to kill him, but there was no need. By the time she had the chance, all of the realms were under Victoria's rule. Ashley did not want to face Andrew again, she did not think that she could.

Laying back down on her bed, she stared up at the ceiling. Victoria has not summoned her. Though Ashley lived with her beloved, she still felt unneeded by her. The dark skinned dragon would do anything for her. That was why she betrayed her family and sided with her in the battle for the realms. There have been times where Ashley felt as though she has chosen wrong, but Victoria has eased her mind time and time again. Pushing herself up off the bed, she left her room. She wanted to see Victoria.

Ashley traveled down the corridor, first heading towards the throne room. The dragon had a feeling that Victoria was sitting there, seething and planning. Walking through the double doors, she glanced around. "Victoria?"

After months of planning and searching, Simon did it. Aunt Erieda has been rescued. She was the final piece of the puzzle that was not able to escape Alex and Victoria's plan. For months, they have all been waiting in the forest for the right moment to strike back. To reclaim all the realms and return them to the rightful leaders. Andrew lost his parents in this battle and has been secretly trying to find a way to get his sister to return to his side. After losing their parents, he needed his baby sister by his side. Ashley has not left Victoria's side since Victoria has put some claim on her when she was nine. Andrew has yet to find a way to get to Ashley. When the realms were still separated, he kept in contact with her. Every once in a while, he would call and she would actually answer him.

Now that Erieda was back, the battle for the realms can begin again. If Victoria is taken down, Andrew could possibly have his family back. The idea of family, brought Brooklyn to mind. He lost her to Victoria as well, but for a reason that cannot be explained or reasoned. Pushing her out of his head, he saw Sarani and Kaenne leave the tent, his aunt was resting it. He pushed off the tree and then headed towards the two of them. Erieda was the closet thing he had to a mom at the moment, and he wanted to -no- needed to see her. Stopping before Sarani and Kaenne, he gave a soft smile. "Sorry to interrupt..I just want to know if its possible to see her." He would understand if she needed rest.

Aphylla noticed his smirk and awaited the usual flirty banter the pair flung at each other, she even let her weight all fall to one side and placed her hand on her hip, squinted one eye and pursed her lips.
"Oh it did. This tree took your attention away from me. The worst crime on the planet." Aphylla rolled her eyes as Aedion stepped closer to her. She took the piece of bark from his palm and then danced around him.
"Oh look... It's doing it again." She teased him. "It's just so mesmerising and interesting, unlike you." She then dropped the piece of bark and skipped her way back to Aedion, noticing a few more bark pieces in his hair, she ruffled it to loosen them. "By the gods, did you leave any of the tree in the forests?

Aphylla noticed Andrew entering Erieda's tent and she weakly smiled, her heart broke for the family, they'd lost so much and were no doubt going to lose so much more in the coming future. "Sarani hasn't told you how the Queen is has she?" She then pondered the amount of medicine Sarani must have been using. "Or even if she needs a resupply of herbs?" Aphylla loved her position as both head gardener and supplier, knowing how difficult it was to maintain the stock made it easier to delegate where the resources should go, in her eyes anyway.

Markus sat in his quarters, which was what the rich liked to call their slaves cells, the walls were barren and damp, the floor cold and rough, and the bed hard and sore. Not to mention almost everything was made from iron, intended to keep the fae weak but it barely impacted upon the Banshee and for that Markus was thankful, otherwise he'd probably be dead. He didn't understand how the fae managed to keep breathing for all the iron in the rooms. However, unlike the fae, the Banshee had been given necklaces imbued with dark magic which forced them to listen to a master and burned anytime they touched it, preventing them from removing it.

It was the early hours and Victoria liked to have everything ready for her getting up, sadly for the slaves that meant non-stop work ever since the news of Erieda's escape spread like wildfire. Markus made his way to the throne room to relieve the fae who had been stationed there all night, they silently swapped places and Markus was forced to stand next to Victoria Montez, the girl who murdered his mother and destroyed his friends with the help of Alec, the very thought made Markus seeth. Alec wanted a world of peace, yet he put the least peaceful of all on the throne. She treated the people like less than dirt and enslaved millions, if anything her rule inspired conflict and rebellion, everyone could see it. But nobody challenged him on his decision, they were all too afraid of him since he became transcendent.

Markus' train of thought was broken when he heard Ashley enter the throne room, calling out for Victoria, he kept quiet as he had been instructed. The necklace making it impossible for him to speak unless he was spoken to by someone other than a slave. It was one way to stop the Banshee planning a rebellion, stop them being able to speak and what power have they really got.

Erieda went on to explain how her duty was to protect Parkwood. Before she became the great Queen of the Seelie and the strongest fae, her job was to protect the area where the realms met. His aunt went on to explain how she also felt it necessary to protect his father as well. And both of them ended up being taken away. Andrew still did not understand. She was one person. One who was not of royal descent. Was given the job to protect a major mutual territory. That was a lot to ask even if Erieda was destined for greatness. Of course she does not see it this way. Tears fell down his aunt's face and he did not know how to react. He did not want his aunt to bare such a burden. She needed to forgive herself for what had happened. Everyone was at fault for not being able to stop Victoria. But he kept that to himself. "Once I heal..."

Andrew gently placed a hand on her shoulder. "Carrying a burden such as yours, will make it hard for you to be at your best." He explained. "You should forgive yourself. You know if dad was here, he would never let you feel this sorry for yourself." He said, with a soft smile. "But I'm not going to force you to do such a thing. Lord only knows how stubborn this family is." Leaning down, he kissed his aunts cheek. He removed his hand from her shoulder. "Get some rest." Andrew said, before turning and leaving the tent that she was resting in.

"Victoria?" Ashley called again. Empty. The throne room was empty. The ruler of the realms was no where to be found. She was probably already moving her forces and allies around to recapture the Seelie Queen. Or she was forcing Alexander to fetch his missing wife. Interactions between the two of them have always been quite interesting. Maybe this time they will actually fight. One can only hope. The dark skinned beauty walked closer towards the throne room chairs, her head down. She stopped before Victoria's chair and sighed. Why doesn't her beloved ever confide in her? A sigh escaped Ashley and she looked up at the chair. She caught of the banshee standing near it. It was Markus.

The banshee's are not allowed to speak unless spoken too. So his eerie silence was relatively normal. "Markus?" She called, letting him know that she was addressing him. "Have you seen Victoria?" she asked. His job was to stand by her side. He had to know where she was.

"Bad tree," Aphylla chuckled at him playing along, it was difficult enough to find someone so playful in these trying times, let alone someone who was playful without expecting something. It was nice to have that with someone. She frowned as he shooed her hand away from his hair, whilst it was simple gesture, stretching on the tips of your toes throws anyone's balance, luckily Aphylla caught herself before she fell. "Thanks, mom..." Aphylla chuckled before licking her finger and rubbing his cheeks.
"Why have I raised such a messy child?" She mocked how TV mother's got on, pinching his cheek after having 'cleaned' it.

Aphylla tilted her head at his next words, blinking slowly. ""Okay, you know, I have to practice on something! Better tree than your gorgeous face, am I right?" His laughter softened her expression but there was times she could feel the pain of the forest and the Demonic presence was causing enough harm.
"There is wildlife... Wildlife we could eat and wildlife that moves and may fight back... I highly doubt the Remei are going to turn into trees the minute you enter the battlefield." Aphylla's words were half teasing and half serious.

Aphylla noticed Aedion look over to his sister's tent and she could see the worry in his eyes, but he managed to keep a strong face, she wondered what he was thinking but decided not to pry and simply fidgeted her fingers, accidentally rubbing off some pollen pheromones and causing some plants to grow around their feet, she was caught off guard when he replied to her question about Sarani, being too distracted by the grass that had grown inbetween her bare toes and the plants around her feet. "Not sure about the herbs, sorry. We haven't really spoken today, since she's been so busy with Her Majesty. And, all she said last night was that there was some improvement, but that she has a long road ahead of her." Aphylla gave him a weak smile, she had so much hope for the Queen and so much faith in Sarani's gifts but the morale was dwindling and she could feel it.
"She needs time. The Davenports are stubborn survivors, people just forget that. She'll soon become Erieda the Survivor, which in all honesty is more poetic than Unkillable."

Aphylla then nervously looked around the camp, spotting the gang of fae who had stumbled in she slightly panicked and the plants at her feet turned from sweet daisies to brambles and scrapped at her skin and Aedion's, as if attacking the strangers, Aphylla instantly shooed the plants away and apologised to Aedion before being slightly startled by Simon's whistle. She let Aedion take his leave but kept within hearing distance of Simon's plans. When she heard him finish, she approached him, her toes quiet on the dirt. "Simon, I'm coming with you." She told him, holding up her hands as in to stop him arguing. "If there's more survivors who have been hurt or one of you get hurt I can help, Sarani can't leave and she's overworked as it is, not to mention I'll need to check if the village has enough nutrients to support another garden or maybe even a small farm. I'll try my best to keep out of your way and won't come into the village until you're sure it's safe enough, but please, I can be of use."

Markus refused to even look at Ashley until she addressed him, he knew her when she was just a kid, an innocent, or so they all thought she was. He was close with her brother and cousins, his mother was an ally to Erieda, then again his mother was also Victoria's step-mother and the favourite daughter of Death, so she was morally ambiguous at best. Ashley had disappointed him just like Brooklyn had, he refused to look at either of them when he was in their presence.

"Markus?" He was slightly surprised by the address, he used to simply being ignored in the throne room and even more surprised by his pleasant reply.
"Yes, miss Vincent?" He awaited her reply, his mind going blank and focusing only on what Ashley had to say.
"Have you seen Victoria?" Her question was a curious one, as far as Markus remembered Ashley was never out of Victoria's sight, now Ashley had to go hunting for her.
"Not since yesterday, miss. Have you checked the Gardens or her study?" Markus answered, his sole focus at that moment wanting to help Ashley, with thoughts of nothing else and little to no feeling. "Perhaps I could help-" As he went to offer Ashley some help, the door to the Throne room opened up to reveal the arrival of another familiar face.

Brooklyn entered the Throne room, having been informed by one of the servants that they had caught sight of Ashley heading in this direction and so she followed after her, Brooklyn had managed to maintain some kind of relationship with Ashley, regardless of how much it hurt to be reminded of Andrew and Simon, but it was still difficult to truly confide in her. However, this time she needed to speak with her. She spotted Ashley just by the throne and her eyes visibly widened when she spotted Markus standing next to her, Brooklyn could feel a panic attack building up in the pit of her stomach, her chest tightened and it felt difficult to breath but she had to shake the feeling off and maintain her air of strength.

"Ashley," She called out, opening her arms as she approached the younger girl and gave her a hug. "I missed you at my soiree, you and Sunday! Are you both alright?" She doubted Ashley even paid Sunday much heed and it didn't matter as Brooklyn also intended to visit Sunday, it wasn't unlike her to accept an invitation and not go. She gave a nod to Markus, acknowledging his presence and also as a form of greeting, she didn't like how quiet he had been forced to become, seeing him even reminded her of Jonathan, the more she thought about it, she'd let down everyone in her life that she cared about.

Aphylla clapped when Simon agreed to let her go, she went to give him a hug but then realised thatwould have been a step too informal, and sufficed with a tap on his bicep. "Thank you, Simon." Aphylla then turned to Sarani and smiled. "I'll make sure no one gets hurt and I'll keep an eye out for any plants I think would help you." Aphylla informed Sarani, Aphylla's knowledge of nature made it easier to recognise plants with healing qualities and as such she always made sure to keep an eye on the look out for plants Sarani could use.

Aphylla looked to Simon as he informed Aedion she would be following him and that Simon would be travelling alone with Andrew, whilst she had no worries Simon and Andrew could handle themselves in a fight, a sense of dread welled up inside her chest.
"Be safe." Aphylla's words revealed the dread she was feeling. "I've a feeling those at the village aren't the only ones here." Aphylla refused to mention that she'd seen Remei in the forest, for all she knew they were the ones at the village and Simon would not be best pleased to hear she'd snuck out from the safety of the camp and then Aedion would probably rant at her for be so dangerous.

Turning to Aedion, she gave him a salute and smirked at him. "This is the only time you can boss me about and I'll listen," Her tone was teasing but she knew how serious the matter was. "Don't worry, I'll stay in the trees. But if it comes to it, I can protect myself."

#372465 | Banshee | Gifts

Markus looked at the girls in front of him, he wanted to scream, he wanted them to feel deaths cold grasp as the last thing they heard was the blood curdling, ear piercing scream of a banshee. Yet even if he could freely speak, his voice would only throw them across the room a couple of metres, his scream was useless in this world, so too was his death dealing love making, not that it even mattered, the only one ofhis enemies that he'd touch was Alexander and he was most definitely not going to touch a banshee, whether for a sick experiment or quick relief.

He listened in on their conversation, when you were a silent slave bond to your post, eavesdropping became second nature, he didn't even do because he wanted to, he did it because it was the only form of entertainment he got whilst in the castle. Victoria's court was now more dramatic than ever and he had more reason to listen than for the petty drama.

Brooklyn continued to engage Ashley in the tedious small talk that had become their routine. She used to teach Ashley dance and was quite close to Ashley, well closer than all of the other girlfriends he'd had. As the thought rushed through her head, so to did her memories of Parkwood and the Siren Isles, all of her moments with Andrew, Ashley, Simon, Simone, Dahvie and all of the friends they'd lost. She thought about her last night with Andrew, before the betrayal and destruction of the realms. The night she meant to tell him something, something she'd even forgot. The news was supposed to be happy in a time of such suffering, but it was interrupted with more bad news, the very thought of which brought back memories of Logan, bloodied and pale in his sister's arms, the same blood marking her hands red. Her daughter and her son, one a killer and the other one of her many victims.

As she stood plagued by her own memories, a new one, one just before the destruction of Parkwood revealed itself, with an old fashioned kick. To the womb. Brooklyn placed a hand on her stomach and felt something kick. She was pregnant, she had meant to tell Andrew but then Lexi and her depression. The sudden return of her memories, flashing all at once. And then black.

***

Markus watched from the sidelines as the two discussed utter nonsense, if he could he would have told them off but he was bound to silence. He then noticed the pause in Brooklyn's voice, he looked to her, her face turning pale and her hand moving up to her stomach, placing a hand on it before all the colour drained from her and she dropped to the floor.

Without thought, Markus had dropped to the floor to catch her. Protecting her head from colliding with the stone floor of the castle. He sat with her head on his lap and looked up to Ashley, awaiting further commands. He wasn't even sure if he was on the floor because of the jewel hung around his neck or the fact that it was Brooklyn, for all he hated her for betraying everyone, he wouldn't wish ill on her.

Ashley continued her conversation with Brooklyn, though she was not all that focused. The two of them used to be rather closed. When Ash was much younger, Brooke taught her how to dance. She was the only girl that Andrew dated that the dragoness had approved of. But Ashley lost touch with her after she was disowned by the family for what she did to Andrew. She was unsure if Brooke knew that it was Ashley that had briefly ripped her boyfriend away from him. Ash never expressed it out loud because she despised talking about it. That was the only kill that had been a complete accident. Something came over her and she still could not explain it. Ash felt as though Brooke was no longer bothered considering she never expressed hatred towards her. They had only even reconnected now because Brooke and Ashley had done the same thing. Betrayed their family. No one on the other side was talking to either of them right now. Or at least not to Ashley, she could not speak for the siren. The idea of her family was making her quite sad, though she can’t be any more miserable than she was.

Ashley knows what Victoria does when she is behind closed doors. The dragoness tried to pretend as though the demon’s unfaithfulness had not bothered her. But it did. Every time she knew about another partner Ashley’s heart broke even more. Because Ashley loved Victoria so much, she tried to look past it. Make an excuse for what she was doing. But Ashley was done making excuses and pretending to be happy. Ash wanted to leave. She wanted to leave the demon and go back to the only family member she knows that still loves her. She owes Andrew an apology, but she wasn’t quite sure anyone else would accept her at this point. Though she had Brooke, they were both on the same page. About going home to family. Ashley had practically forgotten she was talking to Brooke, as she wallowed in her misery.

She was only brought to reality when Brooke started to go pale. She was headed for the floor and Markus was quick to take action. Ashley wasn’t really sure what to do. She did not know what to do. This had never happened to her before. Having to take care of another person. But the banshee was looking to her for help. ”Pick her up. We need to get her to her room.” She demanded. The best thing they could do for her was get her somewhere comfortable where she could rest. Once Markus had her in hand, she lead him to him to her room.
