TOji staggers upward, leaning on a nearby tree. He stares at Jacob's corpse, his face a mask. Looking at Paige and Lilith, he then closes his eyes, tears pouring down his face."......ENOUGH!No more!" He opens them, his eyes a fiery red."I won't let any more bad things happen!" Kneeling down beside Jacob, he coughs up blood, wiping off his chin.The young wanderer lays his hand on the cub's chest."Good, not dead too long. His soul is still close...." Growling, he waves his hand, wind carving a magical circle on the ground around him and the boy."I don't care what happened to my pack. The reason my mother left it is the fact it went bad. To be sure, there's much less wind users, but I don't care! If people do things like murder and hurt because they want to, they need to be punished." He looks at Paige, smiling sadly."I know you're angry right now, but it's okay. I forgive, and always will, you no matter what.Please, let go of the rage. You don't need it, trust me." Looking at Lilith, he inclines his head."I know it is greif that makes you this bad, but don't worry, wind and water combined is also the essense of soul.." He slams his palm into the ground, groaning in pain as cuts appear all over him.The earth in the circle rumbles, and a glowing form, reminasant of the young cub lying before him, floats out, settling back into his body. Toji clutches his wrist as his hand dissappears, the price for preforming such a feat."Argh....NO matter what I sacrifice, as long as I can protect those who can't protect themselves, it's worth it."

Paige runs to Toji and holds his shoulders. "I'm sorry lillith" sighed Paige. Lillith just nodded. "Thank you" whispered Paige in Toji's ear. Snow just stood there rubbing his neck. Paige looks at Toji's wrist where a hand had disappeared. Paige sighed picking up Toji. "We got to get to the inquisitors they can deal with my mother. They travel to a large tower where they are separated into two rooms. Snow,cold and lillith in one and Toji and Paige in the other. Paige looks at her dress covered in blood. She sighs. "Waste of a good dress." She looks at Toji and walks to him. Taking of his jacket and unbuttoning his shirt. "I'm sorry.....I mean about....everything" she sighed.

Toji smiles happily, hugging her, his eyes their normal, happy blue."It's alright, really. I'll just have to figure out how to use my power to make a prothesis, is all! And in wolf form, I'll just float, till then!"He nods."It's alright about the rage, also. When I was infected, I knew what I was doing, and what I was getting into. That's the only reason I didn't flip out. Don't be ashamed. Too many react with fear when they see a transformation, and that just fuels the rage." He kisses her on her forehead."We'll figure something out, okay? I won't leave you stuck like this." He grins, waving his stump, which had been wrapped in bandages."At least now I get to say Argh without being wierd!"

Paige laughs and kisses him. She reaches into her backpack and pulled out a locket. It had the initials T.O imprinted on it. And inside held a picture of a family. "I found this in the rubble when I revisited later, it think it's yours" smiled Paige. She kissed his forehead. She walked into the bathroom and undressed. "Hate to break it to you bu there's not enough hot water for two showers so we have to share" laughed Paige as she leaned against the doer frame.

Toji,smiling as she kisses him, blinks as she pulled the locket out."...my mom's locket..." Holding it, he looks down at it, a sad smile on his face."Huh...I remember her dangling this just out of my reach when I was a cub, playing with me....Yeah, her name was Tashia Okami...the man who raised me after my family was killed gave me this the day before he dissappeared..." When she tells him they have to share the shower, he looks up, then quickly reddens. Standing up, he almost trips. Clearing his throaght, Toji sheepishly grins."Er....okay...if that's what you want..um.."

Paige laughs and takes his hand leading him into the bathroom. "It's ok" she whispered. She turned on the shower the. Turned to he mirror. Scars clear across her body. Her cheek scar still showing clearly. "Ugh.....why do the saviors always have to have scars.....why can't they be...I don't know....less scary" sighed Paige. She turned to Toji and sighed. The turned to the markings on her arms. "Well I least I look badass wih these" laughed Paige. She held Toji's hand and smiled.

Toji smiles, touching her face gently."You're beautiful, you know that...Besides, you're not the only one with scars..."Taking the hand that was curretnly holding his, he guided it, stopping at a huge, jagged scar on his ribs, normally concealed by his clothes."This I got from a mad boar..."He guides her to another,cleaner one from blade, near the end of his back."This was from a theif that tried to rob me...." He continues showing her all the wounds he got over the years, stopping when they reach eight."So you see, you're not the only marked 0ne..." He grins."And you make it look much better than ugly me, ahahahahaha..." Leaning foward, he gives her a gentle kiss...

Paige smiled. She looked at her scars and smiled. "When they build a monument of me do you think I'll be awesome!?"laughed Paige striking a pose. She smiled and stepped into the shower washing her hair. She sighs. "Dammit!" Sighed Paige as she stared at her hair. "Going back to cherry red" sighed Paige.

Toji reddens as she strikes a pose."Y-you're always awesome..."Smiling, he grins as she complains about her hair color."Yep, cherry red. Maybe I'll call you Sparky, ahahaha."He shrugs, stepping into the shower with her."You know...it doesn't look too bad..." He turns around, grabbing another block of soap.

Paige smirked folding her arms. "Say that next time a guard holds me back and cuffs me" laughed Paige. She grabs some shampoo and does her body. She winces. Her cut at her waist stung. She shrugged. Could be worse. Paige then turned to Toji. "You know just watch yourself around the inquisitors they want your soul for a contract.....don't fall into my trap" sighed Paige. She leand forward and whispered "but if it was you I was saving I would do it"

He grins dangerously."A gaurd does that, he'll be regretting it..." Nodding slowly as Paige warns him, Toji shrugs."It is what it is,I'll have to be careful, is all."When she says she'd do it for him, he shakes his head."It's not me you have to worry about. I've accepted that I might go to the shadow feild at any time, so please, don't sacrifice your soul for me...."He gives her a hug and kiss."I'm just glad I have you by my side..."

Paige grins and kisses him wrapping her arms around his neck. She pushed him to the wall and smirked. "I've given my soul to save my sister....." Whispered Paige. She kissed him again. The water started to turn cold and Paige laughed.

Toji sighs in happiness as she kisses him back. His eyes widen as she says her soul was given to save her sister."THen.....they should have done it.....I'm going to have a 'talk' with the one who took your soul.." Being kisses again, he holds her closer, then groans as the water turns cold."Maybe...we should go get warned up."

Paige smirks and leads him out of the shower. She throws on a towel and walks to the bedroom she sighs as the towels slips off her. She places it back on. "I'm not tired surprisenly" laughed Paige. She then grabbed Toji and kissed him dragging him close. "Don't leave me" she whispered.
