In case you still don't get the plot here is a brief explanation: Mansfield High is completely segregated by the social classes of its students. But not even that!! The whole town seems to be segregated by its social classes. So needless to say, of course the students would be. The teachers have tried everything to get the students to bond, but nothing has worked. Then, one of Mansfield's queens falls hard for an east-sider, much to the dismay of her high class parents, friends, and current boyfriend. Not to mention the entire school.
The high school is thrown into chaos over what happens. No one has ever broken that silent rule. Sides are chosen as fights ensue. But there is only one thing that keeps the school from completely self-destructing. Homecoming and eventually prom.
It sounds pathetic, but there are those who actually care about it. It is the only incentive that the teachers can give to hold the school together. If the student body can't straighten up their act before then, it will be cancelled. And not everyone likes prom or social events, but most of them do. But are they willing to set aside their differences and come together? If not just for a bit?


::Rules::
1. First off, try to keep the cursing to a minimum, however I do understand if it is apart of your character.
2. This is a PG-13 and above role play. Drama, romance, betrayal, action, violence, mystery, and all that jazz are ENCOURAGED. Just keep it in check. We don't want to break the rules. Please fade to black if you have to or take it to a private place.
3. This is a literate roleplay! That means I will accept nothing less than a detailed paragraph for each of your posts. You must have decent spelling and grammar, at least high school level. I will ask you to leave if your skills don't meet my standards.
4. You may have up to three characters. I want the gender ratio even, so keep that in mind when creating them, as well as the social ratio.
5. No same charrie love. It is no fun. I will allow it, however, if you have them break up in the beginning of the role play.
6. No instant love between the characters. Instant crushes and instant lust, yes. Instant undying love, no.
7. No perfect characters. We all have our flaws.
8. No characters with powers. No controlling another's characters. No killing without the player's consent.. Etc.
9. No fighting between the players. Keep in mind that what happens IC, stays there.
10. "Perfect Chemistry" goes in the other section.
11. Respect the moderators of this thread! They have the right to ban and accept players.
12. You may work out a background with you and some other characters if you want. It actually makes the role play fun.
13. Once again, drama is encouraged. If you have an idea for the plot, characters, anything- Use it! Don't wait for me to come up with something. I love rping with people who always think of great ideas for the plot or their characters. Talk amongst yourselves and come up with ideas!! :)
14. You may go three pages ahead if there are less than eight characters rping. No more than that. Give recaps if asked for. (Please try to be courteous though and give the majority a chance to post before you reply.)
15. Be ACTIVE! I will not have this die because people decided not to post. If you are gonna be gone for more than three days, let me know. I will boot inactive players.
16. Once again, third time saying it, DRAMA is a MUST!!! I want our characters to go through ups and downs!! I want there to be serious scenarios! A girl who gets pregnant, boy who is in a gang, interracial dating, and etc. (Just throwing random ideas out there.) You get the idea. That is what makes it fun.
17. I will add to these rules as I please. It is your job to make sure that you don't remain ignorant of them.
