Personality

PERSONALITY: Considered by all he meets to be a calm, mature, and highly intelligent person. He's quick witted, not one to miss a detail. He carries the traditional Kirijo determination and resolve, not bending an idea of his, unless a REALLY good reason bends it for him. He has a little bit bigger of a temper than his older sister. He also carries that inner ability to command respect.

Unlike his sister, he's no stranger to the world, or it's customs. He knows how to eat a hamburger, or eat ramen, anything that others can do. This can be credited to the fact that Riku's been to a lot more places, and at a younger age.

In all, he has a sort of fatherly sense towards those allied with him, and just a little protective of those weaker than himself. He's shown to have slight mischievous impulses, and isn't a free to tread a little red tape.

He's also bilingual, able to speak fluent French and English.

History

HISTORY:When Riku was born into the Kirijo family, his grandfather intercepted him, already having a plan for his upbringing. Takeharu, his father, could not argue, as he was not the head of the family/

Riku was raised to be a warrior, a back up for his sister, should the need arise. He began his training in the fighting arts when he was 7, and was taught tactics, war, and anything else he should know. When Takeharu became head of the family, he ordered Riku's intense training to be grounded to a halt. To keep him out of the conflict against shadows, he sent Riku away to learn in France.

There, he learned about everything a normal kid did, though it was mixed in with other business related studies. At his insistence, he continued to learn how to fight, though Takeharu put his foot down when it came to evoking a persona: There was simply no way BOTH of his children was entering a fight were losing meant death.

He was twelve when the dark hour faded... witch felt WEIRD to him: Though everyone but himself was used to it, he wasn't used to this new 24-hour system.

Once Mitsuru took over as head of the Kirijo family, Riku returned to Japan, in middle school. In the time since then since then, he's become quite popular, doubly so once he entered Gekkoukan High School, where he met expectations by becoming yet another Kirijo Student Council President.
