"Hahaha!" Dawn blurts out once Nate is done. He gives her a dirty look. "Oh, sorry, but you must learn to be a little less clumsy." "It's not my fault! The radiant glow she gave off blinded me." "I think someone's in love!" Dawn raises her eyebrow and winks at Nate. "Should I go and talk to her?" He says shyly. "OF COURSE YOU SHOULD!" Dawn screams like an excited fangirl. Nate stands up. "Here goes nothing." He takes a giant breath and walks downstairs.
Shadows entwined themselves around Kenneth's pale fingers as the girls stood silent, watching her in awe. "Wh-what? H-how? Kenny, that's amazing!" The girl brushed them off of her hand and they gave her a strange look before shifting into ravens and dissipating into nothingness. "I know, I know. But I don't like it!" Her eyes faded into their natural silver and the girls burst into laughter. "We thought those were REAL! Holy shit, Kenny!" Ash shook her head. "It's too bad we gotta leave you here alone, Ri-Ri."
"Nah it's fine,you guys got dates anyway. I'm the single Musketeer and you're the ones slaying the foul beasts." Ash and her friend both rolled their eyes and gave Kenneth bear hugs - "Ow ow ow you're crushing my ribs -" then opened the double doors and strolled out, leaving Kenny alone sitting in a chair.
"Nah it's fine,you guys got dates anyway. I'm the single Musketeer and you're the ones slaying the foul beasts." Ash and her friend both rolled their eyes and gave Kenneth bear hugs - "Ow ow ow you're crushing my ribs -" then opened the double doors and strolled out, leaving Kenny alone sitting in a chair.
Nate reached the final step of the stairs as he noticed that girl he was looking at sitting in the living room. Her face still glowing with radiance. He saw that her friends were no one around, and he guessed they had left. He approach her with a smile even though she was looking at the ground. "W-why hello there." He stuttered, taking a seat next to her. "Looks like you could use some company." Nate was shaking, and he had butterflies in his stomach.
Nathan blushed when she said, ' a rather clumsy boy like you.' "Well, let's make the best of the minutes before you leave." He smiled and stood up. "My name is Nathan, but most people call me Nate. I am the owner of the manor." He held out his hand in case she got up. He couldn't believe that he was in the presence of a girl like her.
Nathan was shocked as he saw the girl take some wine and fill it to the brim. "My name is Kenneth." She said, looking a bit drunk. "Gah! Are you okay?" He said as she grabbed his had. Nate then realized that Kenny had taken one of the spiked bottles of wine. "Ohh, this won't be good." He thought out loud. He looked around to see if anyone was left at his party. Only his friends remained, and all of them except Eric were asleep on his couch probably drunk.
"Do you need help?" Nathan asked, just in case she was uneasy of herself. He was mad at himself that he let her get drunk. Nate noticed that when she smiled, it was perfect. He sighed in awe.
Nathan was shocked to hear Kenny say this. "Y-you didn't want to leave me? Oh.. um continue your sentence, idea, thing..." Nate blushed.
Nathan smiled. "Alrighty, lettuce grow." He chuckled to himself. He grabed Kenny's hand and took her to the garage.
