Pastoria City

This marshside city was once the site of a massive battle. It's swampy terrain provided the locals with a large strategic advantage in battle, allowing them to survive the wars following the vanishing. The current locals are very xenophobic because of their violent history, particularly towards the residents of Jubilife, Eterna and the old Hearthome City. For this reason, they aren't very well acquainted with the outside world and regard outsiders with suspicion. Their numbers have started taking big hits in recent years because of their reluctance to accept the call of Arceus.
