Introduction

In the small town of Parina, everyone knows everyone. People generally behave and follow the rules, mainly because rumors spread faster than the common cold around here. If anyone were to do anything... undesireable, everyone would know within the hour. So, there was no trouble around... Until a new boy comes into town. At first , the town is hospitable enough, but then they realize that this boy is a trouble maker. The entire town shuns him, except for the Preacher's Daughter. She thinks that she can change his ways and save him from his sins. Meanwhile, he is trying to get her to loosen up a bit and live life to the fullest. In the process, the two end up falling for each other. Daddy dearest surely won't like that if he ever finds out. Will the two fight for their love, or let fear and disapproval kill it? This isn't the only new relationship forming. The teacher's pet has had a crush on her teacher for quite some time now, but she thinks this crush is becoming something more. The trouble is, she already has a boyfriend of her own. The teacher, meanwhile, is oblivious to the young girl's affections toward him. He is a perfect law-abiding citizen, yet, he can't help but notice the teacher's pet... Will she throw away her relationship for one that could land this man in jail? Meanwhile, there is another girl in town who is also looking for love... But from another woman. Luckily for this closested lesbian, there is a girl in town who is also looking for some... Feminine company. Little does she know, this girl is only looking to experiment, and she isn't just looking at girls. This experimentalist has also taken an interest in the Bad Boy in town. Can this girl looking for love catch this experimentalist and tame her? There is a newly formed family around these parts as well. A recent marriage has made two boys step brothers, but they aren't so happy about it. One of them is gay, and has been crushing on his new step brother since they were little. The other one is convinced he is straight, and he even has a girlfriend. Yet, he keeps feeling an attraction toward his new step brother...

Toggle Rules

First Rule: my word is law.

Second Rule: Reservations | You have to reserve a character. When you reserve a character, your reservation will last only twenty-four hours. When you reserve a character, they will be chosen based on creativity, depth, length, and originality. Basically, details. The more creative and detailed your character sheet, the likely you'll get accepted. Please post all reservations in the OOC thread.

Third Rule: Literate | Not only will I be looking for details in your character sheet, but proper grammar and spelling as well. This role-play is to be a literate role-play, meaning posts are to be kept at a minimum of 250+ words per post, averaged at about two paragraphs. Now I know we are not perfect, and we all make mistakes but if you cannot use a proper spell checks, it will reflect within your character sheet, so please be at least semi-literate with the capability to post at minimum three hundred words.

Fourth Rule: Commitment | I am aware that we all have lives outside of role-playing. Some of us either attend school or have a full-time job, sometimes both. All I ask is that you post at least twice a week. If, for any reason, you find yourself unable to post for x-amount of time, please notify me. I do not bite, I do not get angry, however; should you fail to notify me of your departure, I will boot you out of the role-play. I am also aware that some of us may be in other role-plays, and I understand those may come first. Notification of departure and how much time you'll be gone is all I ask for.

Fifth Rule: Courtesy | Be polite to your fellow role-players. Mischief in the IC is allowed, and so is rivalry and drama, however; should you have a problem with another role-player, keep it in the PM's. Should I need to be involved, I will be. Should it become a constant problem, I will boot both of you out of the role-play. Let's all get along and try to create a story worth reading without causing bloodshed okay?

Once an Item has been created, it can be spawned in the IC using /spawn Item Name (case-sensitive, as usual) — this can be followed with /take Item Name to retrieve the item into the current character's inventory.

Mobs
