Jay is a pack mutant, he is a test tube baby, something he's not too proud of. He is strong and brave, willing to give himself first to save someone he cares for. He can sense people, knowing where they are, whats happening to them, and their emotions. The scientists love this, and when they have something that belongs to an escapee, or something that is tied to them, like a needle, or a blanket they were given, or something they'd left behind, they take him to track them. His ability to sense emotions also allows him to bend them, he does this often, because inside the lab, there is little to no hope, and everyone is always down, often resigning themselves to death when the fight isn't over, but the scientists hate him doing this, and tried to take the ability out of his DNA, so because of this, it takes a strong effect on him, all the good he gives to other people brings their bad back to him. As a result of this, he doesn't do it as much anymore, and not for everyone like before. another ability he has is he can read peoples thoughts, but its only when they think about him. When he was younger he made the mistake of letting the scientists know he can do this, while they cant stop this ability, though they've tried, they just don't think about him, they've come up with a different system to decide what experiments they will run on him. He has yet to figure this out though. Jay can also receive thoughts that are sent to him, but he has only told this to one person, to let him know whats happening to her, and in an attempt to keep her safe.

::DESCRIPTION::
Jay has a lean but powerful build, seeming to almost have a hidden strength because his muscles are not very defined. His eyes are a compassionately haunting greyish blue, though in his second form they are a radiant, crystal clear aqua. He has dark brown hair that clashes just enough with his pale skin to make him adorable. His half form gives him dark brown ears and a tail that has a few white strands here and there.
He was given snakebite piercings by the scientists to see if he had any healing abilities, which he didn't, as well as to see if any metals or gems cause an irritation to his skin, which it doesn't. He is given different piercings often before a hunt to try and draw starved auroras who have either joined the revolution or escaped. He doesn't mind them, he likes the way it makes him look. The scientists hate how he leaves them in the forest though, using the excuse that they'd fallen out. He just doesn't like baiting other mutants, he'd rather help them.
As for scars and marks, he has plenty to go around, he has even been able to pick out designs and pictures made by some of his scars. some are different colors, some are faded, and others brand new.

::PERSONALITY & HISTORY::
Personality:
Jay needs to be around people, and when he finds friends, he sticks with them, protecting them and defending them, being whatever he needs to be to keep them safe. He is very loyal and will put himself in harms way to save another. Although he was grown in the lab, he can be very deceptive, doing things that look like accidents when he doesn't agree with what the scientists want him to do, like taking out the gem lip rings to help the auroras. The fact that he willingly goes on the hunts is part of his deception.
History:
Jay was created in the labs by the scientists, and was one of the few packs that made it past the age of 5, he would make friends with whoever he was placed with and had the need to be with them constantly, one of the ways the scientists tortured him was to place him in a small dark crate for hours on end in a quiet room alone, even without Argan, who was given the same treatment elsewhere. It would break him completely, making him do whatever they wanted just as long as he could be with other people again.
When he was placed with Amelia Shade, he tried to be her friend, but she was so closed off, so hurt by what ever they had done to her it took awhile. She made him hate pain even more than he did, for she was always feeling it. It wasn't long after that he discovered he could help her, and he did, daily. He would lighten her load, relieve some of the pain she was feeling, testing himself to see how much he could take from her. Slowly as the others came, he would do the same with them, to see how many he could effect. It was not long after this the scientists learned about this. They intended to change it.
They took him for long periods of time, extracting blood and injecting strange liquids, then placing him back in the room, just to pull him out again. while they found a way to change his ability to where it effected him negatively, they left him alone. Now he mainly focuses this ability on Lia, but now, he feels the pain that he takes, just doesn't show it.
when the scientists found out he could track people, he was taken on hunts, the first few times he fought it, and he ended up back in the crate, and he'd hear Lia breaking down when they took sage, and she went to hunt her family. Immediately afterwards, he went too, just doesn't really do what he is expected.

Argan is a strong dark brown wolf with glowing aqua eyes. He does all he can to keep Jay, Amelia and Sage safe, considering they are the only pack he knows. He is wise and is often giving advice to keep them out of trouble with the scientists, though he hates them as much as the others.
Argan also knows Jay's secrets, and helps to keep the boy as strong as Jay keeps Amelia while keeping his pride in check. The wolf is loyal to Jay first, as both play Alpha to the other. Making hard decisions that they are unlikely to accept an order that they cannot refuse.
