"N-Not a good idea…"

Name: Jacques Ofal Traddes

Nickname: Jack

Familiar's Name: Lucy - Short for Lucifer

Age: 16

Gender: M

Familiar's Gender: F

Role: Lab Created Escapee, Male #4

Mutation | Abilities: Flock, owl mutation - Jacques has a perfect memory. Anything he experiences, feels, or otherwise, is stored in his memory. He cannot physically forget anything, nor can he lessen his load by sending it to his familiar. He must, regardless of whether or not he wants to, remember everything. As a result of this, he has a higher pain tolerance and a stronger resistance against mental manipulation. He as well as this, has an ability similar to that of Psychometry. If he were to touch something, then he'd get information regarding that object. The information he'd get, however, would be related to numbers. It's chemical composition, density, elements used in it, and otherwise. This ability must, however, be consciously used. It can, as well, lead to him being overloaded with information, so it is not used with abandon. Regardless of the fact that he can remember anything he experiences, hears, sees, or otherwise, he does not necessarily have the ability to assimilate the informations he gains. He does not however, have physical augmentations. He does not have super strength, speed, or otherwise. He can, of course, fly, but that's where his physical prowess stops.

Weaknesses: Socially inept, nervous, anxious, easily angered, volatile, clingy, easily overwhelmed, no super strength, no super speed, no formal combat training, and easily startled.

Description: Jack is physically fit. He has a lean body, a low body fat percentage, and he has defined muscles. He has skin of visibly hispanic origin. His hair is curly and black, matching his brown eyes. He's of above-average height. When his wings are visible, they are large and primarily white.

As a result of how his wings are, it's a bit hard for him to take off. Once he's in the air, however, staying in the air is easy enough. Landing is, as well, easy. Expecting him to suddenly take off, however, is not advisable. Nor is it advisable to ask him to carry someone else with him. He could probably do it, but not for long.

Personality: Jack is, to say the least, an interesting person. First and foremost, he is intelligent. His mind is a trap of knowledge, equations, and otherwise. He has easily memorized equations, distances, and otherwise. He can calculate distances with ease. If you wanted to know how many years it's been since something has happened, he can tell you. He can tell you the color of your shirt last friday. This does, however, make him indecisive. He has seen the direct consequences of his actions and remembered them perfectly. If he is pressured, quickly, to come up with a plan, he'll probably break down and not be able to think correctly. He does not handle stress well. Secondly, he is not a brave person. He is easily frightened. If you were to tap him on the shoulder, his first instinct would be to hit you. This a result of being seen as non-human for most of his life and his way of coping with possible danger. Thirdly, he is quite… apathetic. He does not believe that there is an inherent need to help others. He will, if necessary, betray someone. The only people he'd never betray are the people he is emotionally attached to. Should you manage to make him your friend, expect him to be willing to kill for you.

Jack does not like confined spaces or having to hold in his wings. He prefers being free to fly and roam, not being in a place where he can easily be trapped. He does not speak easily to others, a result of being isolated from people, and gets nervous when talking to intimidating people. He can, however, fight back if necessary. He is not an idiot. If you insult him or attempt to harm him, he will fight back. If the insult is great enough, he will not stop at incapacitating you. He will attempt to make you fear him, to flinch at the sight of him. He does not show mercy to those who anger him. He may be socially awkward and unable to handle nice words, becoming fidgety at the sight of them, but he is not an angel.

Jack can very easily fall into a depression. Should you force him to go through an experience that would mentally scar a normal person, he will be affected greatly. Should you force him to remember millions of peaces of data, he will be overwhelmed. Should you manage to convince him that he has betrayed someone he cares about, he will feel an unbearable guilt. Should a friend of his die, he will feel a void and go into denial, then anger. His being emotionally spent is usually shown by him seeming robotic in nature, apathetic in attitude, and generally uncaring. To force him into this state, however, you'd need to know what buttons to push. He has, after all, been through a lot of stuff already.

Jack is not heartless. He feels empathy. He understands people well. Almost too well. Once he truly understands someone, he cannot hate them. He loves them as they do themselves. He can, however, still fear them. It would hurt him to kill them, but he would do it regardless. As a result of this, he tends to isolate himself from others, regardless of the fact that he craves social interaction.

Familiar Personality: Lucy is an intelligent familiar. She holds the same database of knowledge as Jack and holds an intense loyalty towards him. She is, contrasting to Jack, a caring, collected, and calm being. She is merciful, usually being the one to stop Jack's instincts from taking over. She sees situations with the eyes of a morally good individual. Her thoughts are usually geared towards the betterment of all. She does however, have a tendency to be selfish. Should a situation ask for Jack to sacrifice himself for a greater good, she will tell him not to. After all, even she fears death.

Likes: Literature, art, talking to one person at a time, music, calm, quiet, and safety.

Dislikes: Responsibility, letting his violent instincts show, letting his emotions show to strangers, compliments, insults, and people smarter than him.

Fears: People seeing him as he sees himself, closed spaces with no visible exits, pain, death, and losing people.

History: Jacques has killed. He has, before, taken the life of another. He had, from a young age, not known his biological parents nor any parental figure. He had been referred to as a 'mutant' and rarely as a 'person'. He has been trained to be a soldier, to kill, and to enjoy doing so.

Jacques was referred to as '203'. A number. A statistic, never a person. He had, from a young age, been expected to do much. He had, to the disdain of the scientists, not shown any particular physical prowess. He could not bend metal with his bare hands. He could not control a person with his words.

He could, however, memorize anything that he experienced. Soon enough, the scientists had him memorizing strategies. They had him play chess, play war games, and to analyze the strategies of old commanders. Caesar, Hannibal, and otherwise. He, by the age of nine, was able to beat most if not all people in chess. He had, by then, memorized all possible moves. He was, however, emotionally stunted. He could not speak to someone without fearing rebuke. He could not look at someone in their eyes without feeling judged. He always had to be perfect.

The first person he killed was a boy referred to as 'Sharp'. It was a cruel name, given by young children seeking someone to push their fears onto. Sharp was not, to be blunt, very mentally sharp. He was however, strong and fast. Jack himself had never befriended Sharp, but he had been pitted against him.

At the age of nine, Jack was put against Sharp. Jack felt fear, not having been given any prior indication to what he would have to do. He did, however, have his mind. Suffice to say that a combination of flight, gravity, and focusing energy into one point can kill an individual. As well as break the attacker's leg. Regardless, he had won. He had also killed.

Jack continued his tests, his experiments, and otherwise. He was raised on math, strategies, and to not care about killing. He was, however, made into a nervous person. He longed for freedom, to be able to spread his wings and not have to worry about being perfect.

So begins...
