Full Name: Juliette Butler (never refer to her by her last name. Seriously, dude, don't do it.)
Gender: Female
Appearance: She's... ah... short. Juliette's only 5'2", and weighs just over a hundred pounds. While definitely not an aspiring anorexic, Juliette's body tends to reject meats. Eggs end up her alternative nutrient-wise, but she can't figure out a recipe that tastes good to her unless it involves drowning an omelet in ketchup. But that's enough about food already; back to the girl! She has semi-wide, zaffre blue eyes that you could swim in, and caramel-brown hair that lays rather neatly against her shoulders and down to her tailbone in the back. The front is cut neatly, so the bangs kind of merge together over her brow. (Coincidentally, her shampoo and conditioner leave the smell of caramel on her hair.) Juliette is fairly skinny all-around, with flimsy-looking arms, thin legs and delicate hands. In contrast, her skin is much healthier with a peachy white tone, full lips and pink cheeks.
She has a favorite button-down cardigan, red and white in diamond patterns, that covers and hides the majority of her torso, and the sleeves are long enough to hang over the tip of her finger by an inch. Other than that, which she'll wear in any weather, Juliette changes the clothes she wears according to season to a degree. In summer she takes brighter colors and thinner materials, and in the winter she bundles up as much as necessary. Jeans, T-shirts and sneakers make up 51% of her wardrobe regardless of the date. The other 49% is mostly for special occasions. E.g., she only has two dresses, one of which was used only at her older brother's wedding β she was a bridesmaid. Meanwhile, other casual clothes line her closet from tunics and frilly skirts to pyjamas, which she really only wears when she wants to look particularly nice, or (in the case of the PJs) when she intends to stay inside and relax all day.
Personality: If she had to describe herself in one word she'd answer, "Bad with numbers." (This is a joke, but she did graduate with a C- in maths.) She actually excels with planning things in advance, though. Juliette also enjoys riddles and reasoning games; she even has a small collection of Rubix cube variants, including one that's just a geometric mess. She solves every one, but they're re-scrambled once in a while when she's gone. Juliette absolutely loves animals, too, and she has no problem scolding someone abusing their pet. (She doesn't seem to have any qualms with hunting game, though.) Sports obviously is not her fortΓ©, though she has engaged in ultimate frisbee on many occasions, and she's a bit of a socialite if she manages her time well enough to spend some of it with friends.
Overall, Juliette is an active, moderately intelligent, enjoyable person with a sense of humor that loves pets and hates violence
Last, and probably not least, Juliette has a problem with chronic headaches. This is from a caffeine deficit, as she's been hooked on having (at least) one cup of coffee a day for five years. She's also grown to like dark chocolate in terms of sweets, and can get a bit klutzy around a cute guy.
Psychic Ability: Juliette has no particular ability to use. Rather, she's immune to psychic powers, and can even amplify and redirect them. Telepathy can't speak to her or read her thoughts, and telekinesis can't lift her; for some reason, objects affected by telekinesis or other psychic powers won't hurt her either. Likewise, psychic healing fails on her as well, and her possessions, past and future can't be read by clairvoyants and cognitives. Either she'll have never appeared in visions about someone else, or a vision about her just plain doesn't exist. Finally, Juliette can't perceive illusions (which really killed the wonder of magicians for her), and teleportation is all but useless on her. As said before, though, abilities directed at her can be amplified and used on someone else. A telepath could start hearing everybody's thoughts β save Juliette's β while a telekinetic could throw themselves if they try to throw her. Psychic healing might see an increase in strength through Juliette, recovering someone else's wounds that the healer may not have been capable of otherwise. Apportation... well, I'll leave that to your (and her) imagination.
Special Traits: She can get a bit irritable or bossy if she doesn't think she's getting her point through to someone well enough.
Special Non-Psychic Abilities: She only has two, really, the first being a way with domesticated animals. The second is that she can remember everything she experiences, whether she wants to or not, and can recall her memories in great detail.
Your Story: Because of her own ability, much of her time was spent away from fantastical wonders like magic powers and psychic abilities. Someone at the Goruden Mansion, however, thought she was special because they couldn't read her mind like they could the many people around her. Exposing her to telekinesis (not on her, obviously) and teleportation persuaded her to stay at the mansion. While she can't exactly be a student, since she seems to have no legitimate ability to develop and control (and she can't turn off the immunity she does have), Juliette is able to work with the other students like one, and she takes part in some of the work the mansion staff does (like cleaning up after the students).
Likes: Animals, self-confidence, and effeminate guys (and no, not the flaming homo kind of effeminate).
Dislikes: Animal cruelty, guilt and pity trips, and bodybuilders of any kind. (All that muscle; EUGH.)
