A young man who is intent on travelling and seeing the best sights while trying to keep danger to a minimum.
Vyse is usually laid back and looks bored most of the time. He doesn't like to be caught off guard though usually finds that it happens a lot more frequently when he isn't focused. To be honest, he is easily disappointed when plans don't go accordingly and would usually have a bit of a short fuse afterwards. His scoldings don't last as long as he would like it to because he easily grows tired of shouting and finds that it won't change the fact that something had failed. Vyse spends his time observing the situation to twist the odds and use it to his advantage. Though he does enjoy a good game of 'Cat and Mouse' on the battlefield, he is usually the the mouse trying to lure his pursuers away from the large groups they sometimes come in. Vyse often reaches up to his pendant and speaks his thoughts when he is off by himself.
Vyse still has the sharp jagged dagger that was used against hin during the night of the fire. It has a grey rose embedded on the hilt even though he doesn't know what it symbolises, he is positive that it isn't good. It hardly comes out of the cloth it is bound in.
- He carries a water bottle that hangs loosely from his shoulders by a thin leather strap.
- Carries around a scythe which looks kind of ironic for someone who is supposed to be a healer.
Vyse Ontorion was raised to take care of himself and never to rely on others when it comes to personnal matters. His family was always urging for him to work to his very best abilities, never allowing room for subtle and gentle natures to make its way through and ruin all they have worked for. They consider it to be a weakness and so,having these loving and caring traits would usually be frowned upon. Secretly,Vyse did like to have a good laugh from time to time. One night when the family was all asleep, a fire was started and Vyse was the only one to escape with his life. He was attacked by a woman who presumably was the one to ignite the flame. Because he was too slow to react, the dagger the woman was holding made contact with him. The scar is still on his face after eight years. Vyse couldn't understand why he was attacked at such a young age but then the woman stopped and quickly left, dropping the dagger in her haste to leave. He now keeps that dagger as a constant reminder of that night, something to motivate him.
Two years had passed since Vyse had decided to stay in a small village and plan his next move. Although the village wasn't as big as the others he has heard off, the village was abundant in food supplies. Having farmers as one of the main occupations wasn't as bad as Vyse had originally thought it was. The young man came across an adventurer who he recognised as one of his father's old friends in the village and learns that his parents are still alive somewhere. How the adventurer knew, Vyse was clueless but he bounded north the next morning. He has yet to stumble across them but finds the scenery involved in travelling quite soothing and nice, a contrast to the night that he had recieved the scar.
