Lelenia is generally very calm and level headed. She likes everything to be planned out and knows that this is very important to her Master. But, unlike her Master, if the plans change she really doesn’t mind, so long as everything runs smoothly. When in the presence of her Master she shows little to no emotion as she does not think it is her place, as a servant, to act as a friend to him. She will, however, do almost anything he asks without question. Rarely does she have any free time, but on those few occasions that she does she loves to go up to the balcony or out into the court yard where she can wander around and sing for hours on end.

Lelenia was born to a family that already had thirteen children, being the fourteenth child and the ninth daughter. Despite being the youngest and smallest of the litter, she was always a cheerful and intelligent child. When she turned six her parents sat down with all the children and told them the bills were too high. They would be losing the house at the end of the month and couldn’t afford food or clothes for all of them. The five oldest children would be sent to work around town and that would be able to cover the bills, but only barely.
Lelenia, who had always been very perceptive, knew she had to do something. So in the early hours of the dawn the six year old girl stumbled her way to the nearest manor, which happened to be in a town nearly twelve miles away and came to the gate. The woman who answered the door, a lady named Serene Crystale, was surprised to see a child standing there, shivering and cold, but even more surprised when the child asked for a job. How could she refuse? So Lelenia began running small errands around the manor, getting paid next to nothing and sending everything (including any tiny tips she made) back home.
Slowly, as she grew and became more beautiful, she was officially accepted there, though she continues to send almost all of her money back to her family. She greatly desires to visit her home and check on her family, and beyond that she seeks to become a famous singer, but she has so little time…

The young woman who took her in when she appeared at the manor died a few years back from a fever and Lelenia had wept bitterly, having for many years considered the woman to be her second mother to the point she adopted her last name as her own middle name. Her name had been Serene Crystale and she taught Lelenia to sing like an angel, telling her one day if she practiced enough she could become famous and wealthy as a singer. She taught her songs in different languages and what they meant and would take her into the gardens to practice. It was because of her Lelenia developed a love of beauty and music, and it is now her dream to be a famous singer. The hat she wears belonged to Ms. Crystale which she gave to Lelenia before she died, but only after Lelenia promised she’d reach her dreams someday. To this day a fresh rose in her room in memory of Ms. Crystale and the promise Lelenia made to her that she’d one day be a famous singer.
