Personality

Intelligence: Evania is very intelligent for her age, although she can get easily flustered by Mathimatics.

Education: Having been homeschooled for the majority of her life, Evania was shocked when her Mother sent her to a public school after she was returned home.

Occupation: Before she left, Evania held a small summer job at a gas station (which, oddly enough, paid more than you'd think). She intends to become a psychologist one day, but those dreams still seem far off.

Crush: Evania is timid and shy when it somes to love, and so she puts up a plutonic front. Of course, if her "person of interest" happens to let her know that they feel the same, she will gladly let them know that they aren't the only ones in love.

Casual: As was said before, Evania is a very shy and anti-social person. She is also very deep, which can cause her to look at everything way to seriously. If she feels truly comfortable with a person, she may joke (which she isn't very skilled at) or even make fun of them. She tends to push people away, as if she is afraid ot hurt them, but in truth she is afraid that she's the one who will get hurt.

Under pressure: She tends to overreact and flip out, but she has learned to keep the panic in her head. Due to this, she appears calm and reasonable, though she can be a bit touchier than usual.

Drunk: Evania detests alchohol, but has on occasion drank wine on special occasions and religious purposes. Afterwards, if she's had enough, she seems a bit more outgoing and open towards others.

History

{Age 0-2}
Evania was born on March 19th of 1996 in the town of Chania, Greece. Premature, the small babe almost died in the womb, and an emergency C-section was needed. After spending several months in the hospital for medical concerns, she was sent home with her mother. Oddly enough, from then on she was an extremely healthy baby (no allergies, serious injuries or illnesses... she had never even caught a cold until she was six).

{Age 3-5}
Evania was an extremely cautious learner. Eventually, she had begun an awkward hobbling, which slowly evolved into walking. In order to learn, she often mimiced the words and even actions of others (especially her parents). At the age of three, her first full sentence was heard... her cousin was invited over, and caught Evania playing with work equiptment. "You don't want to do that" was quickly picked up by the small child, and for the next few weeks it was her reply to most any question.

{Age 6-8}
While she had been hospitalized as a babe, her parents had decided to homeschool her, and so she was exempt from school of any sort. Seeing as her family had no television, Evania was actively socialized (usually with those older than her) in order to gain the same life lessons taugh on TV shows. While this had it's benefits, she was thrust into situations which made the small girl feel uncomfortable, and slowly became a shy and socially awkward young girl. Her solace was the authentic Greek lyre which she was given for her sixth birthday, and she soon became quite good.

{Age 9-14} *Combined 9-11 and 12-14*
By the age of nine, Evania had to recieve monthly haircuts in order to keep her ever-growing hair in line. She could often be found in her room, a reclusive child with few friends who conversed with herself on a daily basis. When not reading and writing, she was practicing on her lyre, enjoying time on a bench overlooking the bay, singing or daydreaming. Her Father (an overly worried man), took matters into his own hands and forced her to remain outside of her room for at least eleven hours of the day. When his child's social awareness took a plunge, she was emotionally abused. This alienated her even more, and the cycle began... the worse she got, the more abusive he became, eventually escalating into the physical. Evania never said anything, for reasons that only she understood. When her Father was killed and her Mother sent into a coma in a boating accident on February 6th, 2006, Evania slipped (the more accurate word would be plummetted) into a deep Depression. Luckily, her Mother was brought out of her comatose state, and while she was eventually able to claw her way out of her Depression (to an extent, that is) without her Mother knowing about the ordeal. Over the next year, symptoms of new mental ailments began to pop up, brought out by the depressive state and unexpected emotional trauma. Evania tried her best to hide her issues from her Mother, but the problems paired with the secrecy pushed her to the limit. Evania attempted suicide via drowning (which as unsuccesful) on June 13th, and again on August 11th. She was institutionalized for the next two years, to be released July 1st, 2009.

{Age 14-15}
When she was returned from the institution (which actually didn't help her much, but stopped her "suicidal tendencies"), her Mother practically refused to admit that there was something wrong with her child. To avoid dealing with it, she took two jobs (one of which required long business trips). When a job offer arose in America, her Mother jumped at the chance to get away from Chania. In America, she sent Evania to a public school, which gave her minimal education. As a result, Evania became obsessed with music and Literature. Her days were spent reading, writing, and playing the lyre (hers had been confiscated at the institution, so she made her own), though by that point she had picked up woodwinds as a secondary hobby. Although she was an exeptionally smart young woman, she failed in most of her classes due to a lack of attention. Her Mother started to ignore her, taking on jobs with long hours and spending all of her time out with friends. Realizing that their relationship most likely couldn't be set right, Evania decided to run away...
