Appearance
At a mere 5’3, Freak isn’t your average warrior. Her childlike face, large summer grass green eyes, and light, chin length blonde hair make most second guess what her fighting style actually is. To confuse them even more, Freak’s body isn’t built like many other samurai’s. With her toned and lean body, small chest, and over all wiry body structure, she is an unlikely candidate to be a samurai.

Maybe it’s because her eyes are green. Or it may be because it clashes and complements pink so beautifully, Freak doesn’t even know. However she does know that green, and pink, are her two of her most favorite colors. Ever. Along with black. But black is a combination of all colors put together, so she doesn’t really count it. Only sometimes. Anyways, Most of Freak’s outfits will consist of various shades of green, with pink and black accents, like her pink oval necklace, or the black ribbon she uses as a headband.

Look at me and tell me ‘Yes you look like the ideal samurai!’

Powers
Diarama- While it doesn’t heal her completely, it gives Freak the strength to continue fighting, even if she is sustaining many wounds. However any life threatening wounds, or broken limbs, this ability will not help.

Shadow Manipulation- While Freak cannot create darkness, she is able to animate shadows and turn them into deadly weapons. While the power does not take a lot out of her, it requires much concentration, therefore leaving her defenses down.

Flash Step- While this is more of a technique than a power, Freak is able to quickly move from one spot to another. This power takes time to build up, and even less time to deplete. What this means is while Freak can use this power at any time, it starts off slow, 100 meters every 12 seconds, and steadily gets faster the more she uses it. The drawback, however, is that after she uses it more than 10 times, her endurance is pushed to the limits and the power slows down until she is physically drained of all energy.

White Noise- More of a defense power than offense, this enables Freak to mentally send out a ‘beam’ of sound into her opponents mind. The sounds can range from low to high, high even to break glass and make ears bleed. The only drawback to this is that she needs complete concentration, leaving her defense down. This is usually only used when she has her familiar with her.

Paranoia- Much like it sounds, Freak’s favorite ability would be Paranoia. While it is in use, her opponent is afraid of the unknown, or any of their irrational and childish fears. This power is best used under the cover of the darkness, but it is able to be used during the daylight hours when Freak pairs it with her ‘Shadow Manipulation’ power. There are little to no side effects of this ability, for it requires little concentration.

Weapon
Freak’s sword was only made during the darkest of hours, the only light being the moon and the numerous stars overhead. Because of this, her sword is a dark gray, almost black, in color with specks of silver scattered. During the daylight hours however, this reverses. The black turns to a shiny white gold color, while the ‘stars’ take the shape of a dragon, turning jet black in color. The sword is kept in a wooden sheath and slung across Freak’s back when not in use.

That’s my baby, my lover if you will. He never fails me in my times of need.

Familiar
Pure white fur, speckled with black spots that create a unique pattern that no other animal of its species has. Her piercing blue eyes and large size are the only things that tells you that she is no ordinary snow leopard. As Freak’s familiar, she takes the name Hitori, meaning ‘alone’ in Japanese. While this large creature, roughly around six feet tall, is normally gentle, Hitori is wary of strangers and will not hesitate to growl at them if they get too close to her master.

Hitori is me. I am Hitori. I call her Tori for short.

Personality
In a nutshell, Freak is a bundle of contradictions. Her sarcastic and barbed words are constantly offset by her cheerful tone and innocent smiles. Her view on life can change from optimistic to pessimistic in a matter of seconds. There are few things that remind constant in Freak’s life, like her favorite colors, or the love of her sword.

However, Freak is one of the most loyal people you could find to be your friend/ally. While she makes ‘friends’ easily, most are kept at a safe distance and don’t see her contradictory side, looking only at the ‘happy go lucky’ side of her. Most of these ‘friends’ are tools, or allies, to use to help her survive the harsh and unforgiving desert. Because of her distrusting nature, it takes Hitori’s agreement, and an all out battle to determine whether or not said opponent is worthy of her full alliance and friendship.

A few other factors help, or hinder, people’s chances at gaining her as an ally. Their weapon and the animal their Familiar takes are two major factors that can determine who does and doesn’t earn her trust. Large dogs or big cats are considered relatively safe, while bears are considered to be brash and too headstrong, but loyal. The one animal that Freak despises the most would be the Fox. Because a Familiar is a peek into the other person’s soul, foxes are a clear sign that they are sly and cunning are willing to stab you behind the back the first sign of danger.

Feel safe if you’re my ally. Fear me if I’m not.

Final Power
Personified Hell- Imagine every dark and scary thing you could possibly think of. From the unknown, to shadows, to the very devil himself. While Freak cannot do exactly all that, Hell Ground wraps her in a black aura, surrounding even her Familiar and her sword in its creepy mist. Under the influence of this power, Freak is able to manipulate and create shadows and use them in any way she wants to. She is able to create shadow beings, playing on the fears of her opponents. There are many side effects to using this massive power, such as her energy being drained. It takes concentration, as well as mental and physical energy, and sometimes her Familiar’s energy as well to pull off this power.

It is also possible that I will fall into a 2 day coma if I push this power, and myself, too far.

Fighting Style
Freak relies on her Sword to defeat enemies and will only use her powers in times of need, or when there are too many opponents for her to handle alone. While she proclaims to be a ‘samurai’ because of her sword, she is not above using dirty and nasty tricks on the monsters to defeat them. This does not apply to when she fights against other humans, for it is against her morals to go behind someone’s back and kill them.

I only respect my morals when they are human. Monsters don’t deserve pity.
