{Full Name}
I genuinely like my name, I don’t know many people who do.
Casimir Martin Finch
{Nicknames}
Depends on the person, eh?
Cass is about the only one used frequently.
{Alias}
I can’t tell you that. Top secret. Classified and shit.
EarthShatter
{Age}
Legal- if you’re wondering.
21
{Birthday}
My birthday presents are usually pranks...
April 1st
{Ethnicity}
That would be Indian English- actual Indian, you know, from India?
English-Indian
{Sexuality}
I don’t care what you’ve got between your legs. Long as you share, of course.
Bisexual
{Power}
Who needs powers anyway?
Disintegration - Cas can disintegrate objects around him on will, although he very, very rarely uses his power unless his life is in danger or he has no other options. He’s much more frequently found using his sticky fingers and think-on-his-feat attitude as the supplier and medic of the Centuries.
{Group?}
If I told you it wouldn’t be a secret anymore, would it?
Centuries

|{Quirks || Habits || Oddities}|
Compulsively flips whatever’s in his hand over his middle finger, including lit cigarettes, and objects as small as dimes. Pulls on and plays with his hair when he’s tired, bored, or out of sorts. Has an eclectic memory- but only for absolutely useless trivia and insignificant details Is generally creeped out by reptiles of any sort. Can’t sit still Has a strong sensory distaste for anything which crumbles in his fingers/most fragile things Compulsively counts windows, doors, and, for some reason, shelves.

{Power}
Disintegration
The basics of it, really, is that Casimir can disintegrate inanimate objects by willing them to deconstruct themselves. This results in a small pile of ‘dust’, made up of the components of whatever the thing was made up of. The larger the thing, the more concentration it takes to deconstruct, the denser the thing, the longer.

{Power Weaknesses}
Primarily: Instability
While not necessarily a ‘weakness’ to his power, Casimir himself considers his power’s biggest error its effect on his view of himself. Perhaps completely unrelated to his power, Cas has a lot of issue in that he finds destruction so much easier than creation, and that he despises himself for that. This is perhaps one of the things that leads to him hardly using his power. He prefers to work by playing medic, and the group’s thief when supplies are needed and can’t be bought, or a contact to get them to the undercover suppliers around the city. Perhaps, though, his powers weaknesses are best described in their limitations; Casimir can’t deconstruct animate living beings, although he can deconstruct plants, given enough concentration. He must concentrate more for larger objects, and thus distractions can mean failing in the attempt to deconstruct something, which may be semi-disastrous if he got halfway through before being distracted. Denser objects also take a somewhat longer amount of time, although usually this is relatively unnoticeable to anyone except Cas himself. This can result in some parts of a thing taking longer to disintegrate than others. If an object is incredibly large, very very very dense, or both, it can put a strain on him, as well.

|{Talents || Strengths || Skills}|
First and foremost, Cas is good under stress, he keeps his head and thinks things through better when he’s in a time-crunch or a dangerous situation.Perhaps the only creative pursuit at which Cas is skilled is poetry; he does both slam and spoken word poetry in his spare time, but isn’t good at written word poetry.Skilled in first aid and medical craft as much as any non-medical-professional can be. Casimir was raised largely by his aunt, who was a doctor.Casimir is also very good at stealing without being noticed; having had kleptomaniac tendencies since he was pretty young, he’s good at it now, and this expands into a slightly less extensive knowledge of local fences and people who can also acquire goods, as well as a much less prominent skill for stealth In alignment with his power, Cass also has a knack for taking things apart and is relatively dextrous. Casimir has a great memory for useless trivia, factoids, and numbers.

|{Flaws || Weakness}|
When not under stress/in real danger, Casimir has an intense distaste for anything serious. When not under stress/in real danger, Casimir has an intense distaste for anything serious and has a hard time focusing enough to get tasks done without a deadline or crunch of some sort. Physically, Casimir is generally lacking; speed and strength are not on his side and his constitution is weak. He’s often sickly and not combat ready in the slightest. More than prone to spouting random facts, Casimir is often distracting to himself and others despite being personable, and he tends to gloss over important facts for smaller, odder ones. He has problems seeing the forest for the trees.With relationships, Casimir has two extremes; he either gets ridiculously attached to the point of unnecessary self sacrifice, or he cares about next to nothing about the person and is only around them for a singular reason (often carnal pleasures or monetary value or fleeting company). This makes keeping friends incredibly difficult. Arrogant about his abilities with medical science, he’s prone to overestimating his abilities when fatality isn’t involved. Wracked with poor self esteem in relation to his power, he’ll often get snippy and rude with anyone who comments on the destructive nature of it.Generally prone to breaking laws and rules, while Cass is pretty good at not getting caught, he still has a minor criminal record and a bad reputation with most of his bosses and those who are around him.

{Hobbies}
While not a hobby, Cass currently works, when not fulfilling Centuries duties, at a chocolate/candy shop and ice cream bar in the city. He finds it dull. He also practices sleight of hand/pickpocketing and is working on learning lockpicking. He used to take part in dressage riding, but has given up the hobby recently for birdwatching. He also plays ingress and takes part in geocaching.

{Fears}
øSnakes, and to a lesser extent, all reptiles.øSleep- more specifically, the feeling of powerlessness which comes with falling asleep..øSocial abandonment/lonelinessø

{Regrets}
Mostly, Cas regrets not putting something forth in his youth which might have put him somewhere better in life now. He regrets not working earlier, he regrets how little, in his eyes, he did for his aunt. He regrets not being more vocal about his views, and about what he feels is ‘right’ and ‘just’. Casimir regrets not having slowed down to enjoy life more in his youth before it became evident how flawed the world is.

{Secrets}
Cass keeps his parents' lives and the things which happened to him while still under his parents' care entirely to himself.
For the most part, Cass avoids talking about the full nature of his power.

{Personality}
xxJumpyxxSensitivexxDistractiblexxIndependentxx
A born follower, or, often, lone wolf, Casimir is a caring, but often scattered creature who makes a thousand habits at a time and is often habitual and somewhat addictive in all of his life. Adaptable, he can flit from situation to situation, but doesn’t fare well with authority figures and doesn’t tend to enjoy strictly enforced rules. School was hell for him, and he despises the institution as a whole, he made a point never to attend college. He has a strong, personal sense of right and wrong, but it often conflicts with a larger view of morality, leading to near-constant string of near-misses with police and law enforcement in general. Fond of an adrenaline rush, it’s nearly unheard of for Cass to say no to spontaneity. He tends to dislike binding contracts and plans and is drawn to free-spirited individuals. Physically both restless and sickly, Cass often gets himself physically injured.
Casimir is constantly warring with himself over his lack of ability to express creatively, and deeply hates his power for the destruction and deconstruction it represents. He has a genuinely empathetic heart but is often short-sighted and he cannot see the forest for the trees. He often looks over details which others find important and is confused when he can’t properly convey what’s important to him. Passionate about medicine, and often life in general, Casimir is prone to irrelevant, existential or completely random rambles. He has a great memory- but only for absolutely useless facts and tiny details.
Casimir considers himself simultaneously a people person and not a people person; he’s very good at ‘faking it’, and is increasingly good at seduction as he gets older. He often fools around with people and makes relationships which mean little to him. It takes a lot more to get into his good books, and he has some issues with people assuming they mean more to him than they do. Casimir’s most fiercely loyal relationships tend to be those he has with his friends and allies, and it’s incredibly rare that Casimir actually becomes seriously romantically attached to someone, although it’s not necessarily because he doesn’t feel those feelings. He tends to be scared of his strongest emotions, and especially becoming dependent on or seriously attached to people, even in a platonic relationship.
With a taste for getting into trouble, Cass often does things just to be contrary, and is incredibly spontaneous when not bound to a strict schedule. He has kleptomaniac tendencies, and is very good at “liberating” items from places and people who ‘don’t deserve them’, something which somehow fits into his scattered and skewed moral grounding, which is a fine example of his morals being odd, but first and foremost Cass believes that no one should get unfair treatment for things they can’t control, whether that be sexuality or superpowers, and he believes in second chcances for people. He’s often friendly and open to people he sees hurting. He likes to get people to open up and loves listening to people talk bout their lives.

{Place of Origin}
Brooklyn, NY
{History}
Casimir was born to a pair of drug dealers and vagabonds in Brooklyn, and was the youngest of three. He was taken care of more often by his brothers than by his parents, and he was more often than not left to his own devices from a young age. Until he was removed from his family, and placed with his aunt, when he was six, Cass was raised with little true understanding for what an infant might need. He's never blamed his parents for this; they were busy trying to pay for them all to live, they were busy trying to figure out how to. A lot happened to Cass while his family wasn't watching; both before and after he was placed with his aunt. No one really had the time for him, there was no doubt Cass wasn't a 'planned' kid, so he and his family had to deal with his existence on a blow by blow basis, and it didn't do any of them particularly well.
When Cass was moved into living with his aunt, he began to learn both medical science and addiction from her, as well as a deepset interest in breaking rules. She was an ambitious woman, who taught Cass almost everything he knows; good and bad. As a young child, she was a breath of fresh air after his previous situation, even if she too popped pills and forgot about him sometimes. School was hell for him from the moment he started. He couldn't sit still and didn't fit into the categories they wanted him to. He didn't ever work hard enough at what they wanted him to and never took anything seriously. He squandered his young years not taking two seconds to stop and enjoy himself and he's hard pressed to come up with good memories of his youth when asked.
In high school, Cass discovered poetry, and finally began expressing himself how he wanted to. He learned a lot about himself, separate from other people, then. His habitual and addictive mannerisms began and he began going to poetry slams every week at least. He tried to divorce himself entirely from the idea of his family and fell into his most rebellious streak. He had several near misses with law enforcement for theft and shoplifting.
After high school, he got hired on at a candy shop, despite his criminal record, and moved into Manhattan to get away from his Brooklyn family. He found a tiny niche to fit into and fit himself there. He's trying to be happy there.

{Family Tree}
Of Indian and British descent, Casimir's mother, Sabeen Rice was full Indian and a first generation New Yorker, and focused on slipping through the cracks so as to not be deported. Casimir's father, Jacob Finch, was the son of a businessman, and a second generation New Yorker, he came from a military family, and his sister, Anna-Lily Finch, Cass' aunt, was the one who raised Casimir for a good part of his life. Cas also has two elder brothers; Jameson and Levi.

{Happiest Memory}
He can't really choose one; although likely the first time he watched birds out the window of his own apartment.

{Saddest Memory}

Again, it's awful difficult for Cass to choose. Likely the last time he ever saw his mother, because as a child it confused and upset him so greatly.

You are a getaway car, a rush of blood to the head
But me, I'm just the covers on top of your bed
You steer away in a rear view mirror, you make my head swim
I keep you warm and won't ask you where you've been

With your backless black dress soaked to the skin
When it's said and done they're all scrambling
And we're friends, yeah we're friends
Just because we move units

Strike us like matches, cause everyone deserves the flames
We only do it for the scars and stories, not the fame
At least everyone is trying, everyone is shining
Everyone deserves the flames but it's such a shame
Such a shame

The sounds of this small town make my ears hurt
Oh yeah, you caught me. But I caught you one worse
They say, "You want a war? You've got a war."
But who are you fighting for?
The tides out, the ship's run aground
We drown traitors in shallow water

With your backless black dress soaked to the skin
When it's said and done they're all scrambling
And we're friends, yeah we're friends
Just because we move units

Strike us like matches, cause everyone deserves the flames
We only do it for the scars and stories, not the fame
At least everyone is trying, everyone is shining
Everyone deserves the flames but it's such a shame

{Other}
The etymology of “Casimir’ is in the Polish ‘Kazimierz’, which means ‘to destroy (‘katizi’: to destroy) another’s victory (mer: prestige, victory, fame)’.
TBA

{Costume : Mask}
Casimir keeps things simple; he has skin tight black jeans, worn with tall black steel toed boots. He wears a tucked in black undershirt, but it's usually not visible under the dark grey hoodie he wears overtop it, which is a pullover and the back is decorated with a large black pack depicting a globe/the earth breaking into a billion tiny pieces. He wears the hood up, and wears black fingerless gloves over grey full-fingered gloves, with a black asymmetrically cut mask with a red-violet vertical line across the right eye.
