Abilities
So far, Calista's been able to speak to birds or any other animal that rules the skys. At night, she would dream of weather and literally feel it..... The next day her dream would come true, as if she can control the weather. Her speed when running has also increased to the point of her university's track team kicking her off for being too fast and competitive.
Overall:
- "Weather Man"
- Bird Whisperer
- Speed (nothing major though)
Cali was born in Washington, DC. Her father was a politician and her mother was a lawer, so she was used to a strict household and obeying laws. Along with hardly ever seeing her parents. She also lived with her aunt, Sofya (So-Fy-Uh), who was really close to her when she grew up. But as she got older, her creativity and bossiness increased and expanded, and so did her athletic ability. Calista Adelle was always hosting sleepovers or partys whenever she could in her parent's mansion. Until it got burned down. The summer before seventh grade, on July 21st, was the worst day of her life. The mansion was set on fire. Her and her aunt made it out alive. Everyone else died, including her parents. Cali was shaken to her core. Yes, she was never close to her parents and they never really did show their love for her but her heart ached for them. The soon-to-be twelve year old was devistated, wishing that they could come back.
After that night, she seemed to have changed. Sofya and Calista moved into an aparment a few blocks away from the White House. They were poor; her Aunt had to work overtime. She kept to herself mostly, and stopped the parties for a few years. She couldn't bare to see any of her friends in her current state. Depression overcame the tween for two years. On her 14th birthday, something happened - she seemed to have that spark from forever ago, except it was different; it was more mature and exciting. Energetic as a whistle, she hopped out of her sad state and became the girl everyone loved. In high school, she was quite the socialite, but kept to herself still, for she didn't trust the populars. Everyone knew that her parties were the best in all of DC and that no matter what, you'd have a blast. At 16, Aunt Sofya gave her her very own Parrot. She named him after her father, David, who was, at least, the closest to her out of her parents. David lived a vivid and happy life with Cali. He even helped her with her homework thanks to his smarts. Ever since, Cali had fallen in love with birds. Which was why she applied for a job at a bird retreat center that helps birds of all kinds recover from tragic events. There was where her heart felt at home and where she obtained compassion and understanding.
And here she is now at the University of Maryland, getting a major in Politics and a minor in Mythology, hoping to follow her parents footsteps towards victory. To become a leader.
Boy, does she have no idea of how big of a leader she'll become.
