To be honest there isn't much story to tell about Hyunsoo, his family was just a normal middle class family from Korea, his family kept it from that he was a Gumiho, until he was an adult. He spent his whole life working hard and hoping to get into a good college (which he did).
In high school, he started dated a girl called, Ho-Sook who he like a lot, but his parents were opposed to it, Hyunsoo never figured out why. They continued dating even in college, however when his parents revealed to him that he is Gumiho and that he mustn't be involved with humans. After thinking it through he decided to leave her, but she left him first. Ho-Sook later killed herself which was why they never saw each other again. (sh......she isn't dead...you'll find out why)
His younger sister, Hana was born on the day the Ho-Sook killed herself, which was why Hyunsoo views her as an "angel" sent by Ho-Sook, so he can protect her forever. Now Hyunsoo, has hidden away his feelings for Ho-Sook and continued to try cheering others around him up. Hana however is one of his priorities.

For the newbies, their first time seeing the United States is through tinted glass. Flown to the states from
their home countries, the new cast members are gussied up for their big debut and called one at a time to
be interviewed on worldwide television. The lights are blinding, the set is stifling, and the pressure to
impress the crowd is anything but effortless. Meanwhile, the returning cast members wait in the green room
to be called on stage. Ushered on stage onto a four person couch, they’re coaxed into sharing what they’ve
done since season one. They sit together with smiles plastered on their faces as though they’re old friends
when in truth some of them cannot stand one another. Once they’ve been given enough of the limelight,
they’re all ushered into a private jet and flown to the Isles of Scilly.

The streets are filled to the brim by the curious spectators. Unknowing bystanders, which were few and far
between, were confused by the spectacle while others have flown for all corners of their providence just to
see this event unfold in person. Slowly, the vehicles make their way through the crowded road. As the
limousines closer, the flashes of the cameras of the paparazzi intensified. While most entered the luxurious
premises without too much difficulty, others were faced with the usual complications that came with the fame.
Some fanatics pushed themselves against the vehicles screaming the returning cast's names while others tried
to catch a glimpse of the newbies. As usual, the security crew handled the situation accordingly in order to
proceed promptly with the schedule.

They’re in the house gathered into the living room by the producer who captures their attention with a clasp
of his hands as he stands in front of the fireplace. "Alright everyone, tonight marks the first night of season two. We’ve got
our veterans over here-…" he gestures to the couch on his left where all but one sit and then to his right where they
huddle around as much as possible, "…-and our newbies. For those who don’t know me, my name is Claude Fauré. You may
address me as anything you see fit. Once I assign you to a bedroom, you will be given a roommate and we’ll begin filming. Now-…”"
He goes through the list, telling each member of the cast where they’ll be staying before he pockets his cellphone
and gives them a look of warning. "“The cameras will be rolling at all times. I reiterate: at all times. Some moments may not
make the final cut but everything will be on film. Because the goal of this season is to prove that different species from different
Providences can in fact live in harmony, I would like to respectfully request that you hold yourself at some level of decency." With one
last grin he snaps his fingers, ushering the cameramen into the room. "Now, you’ll have about half an hour to get your
things settled before the cameras start rolling so use them wisely."

The flight to the USA is long and Rose spends the majority of it either sleeping or chatting with the attractive flight attendant. The flight attendant reminds her of her ex-boyfriend Hunter. Perhaps it's the eyes that do it, or the colour of the hair. It certainly isn't the figure, seeing as her ex was male and the flight attendant is every bit a woman. Of course it might simply be the potential that seems to brim under the young woman's skin. Rose knows if she asks the flight attendant about any hobbies that she'll most likely receive singing as an answer. It was the same for Hunter. Rose helped lift Hunter up to stardom, accompanying him to gigs throughout Ireland. He would was set to tour the world when madness and eventual death took hold. But, that is in the past and Rose is only too happy to look forward to the future. As her plane lands sometime later the flight attendant wishes her luck with the show, and slips her a small piece of paper with her name and number on it. Rose smiles as she walks away, tucking the paper away.

Roisin Callan can't help but grin excitedly as she walks on stage for her interview. She waves happily at the audience who cheer her on, as they have for the cast members before her. Sitting down with the interviewer the first thing Rose has to do is correct the pronunciation of her name. She does so with a smile, making a joke of it. Irish names are difficult to get right, especially for foreigners. Usually she goes by Rose, which is what the interviewer happily calls her rather than try and twist his tongue around her full name. Rose has to admit that she likes being the centre of attention. She simpers and pouts when needed, this isn't the first time Rose has been around this kind of atmosphere after all. Her various lovers over the years have always garnered attention, and she has always been there on the sidelines. Of course, Rose merely mentions that she acts as a muse for her lovers, omitting the price most pay. That knowledge isn't too well-known out of Ireland.

Once the interview has finished Rose and the other cast members are taken to a private jet. The trip is over fairly quickly, at least compared with her flight from Ireland. The limo passes through streets crowded with curious onlookers, eventually entering the house's grounds. The group make there way into the living room, where Claude begins to speak to them. For the veterans this is probably old news, they've already done this before after all. As for Rose, and perhaps her fellow newbies, the speech is new. She listens intently, nodding as Claude emphasises that the cameras will be constantly rolling. As he reads out the roommates Rose glances over to the young man that she will be sharing with, HyunSoo. Rose knows all the veterans as well as a fan of the first season can, and knows the newbies only from their interview.

Across from her Rose notes Aiden's comment to Eleniel, and the other girl's dirty glare and snappy rejection. The Gryphon doesn't seem too phased by it though. He merely sits back on the couch with a wide grin, quirking his eyebrow at Rose when he sees her looking, "She loves me, she just likes to play hard to get." He says with a cocky wink.
"I can see that." Rose replied with a sarcastic smile of her own.
Aiden Young is exactly as he appeared in the first season, that much is strikingly obvious. While he was never Rose's favourite member of the original cast, she did always find his jokes funny. She has no doubt that he will make this season entertaining too.

"Well, this should be fun." Rose says to no one in particular as she stands and faces her new roommate, "I'm Rose, looks like we'll be bunking together.".

After finally getting off the private jet, Hyunsoo took a deep breath, the plane ride had been quite exhausting, never had he ever been on such long plane ride, it was just tiring. After spending 30 minutes in customs, he was able to finally grab his check in bag and move the outside of the airport, at the exit his aunt Jiwoo greeted him. To be honest, he has never met his aunt, Jiwoo before, not that he remembers anyways. His parents had always kept him constrained away from other members of the family, they didn't want him to find out that he was a Gumiho. However in the end, he still did and that pretty much lead to a series of events that he never wanted to mention ever again.

"Hello, Hyunsoo it's great to see you, look at you, you've grown so much, the last time I saw you, you were a baby," Hyunsoo was a bit shocked to be exact, but then just nodded his said and quietly said "Hello, Aunty"
"Now we mustn't stay too long, I need to get you to the set, we running short on time"

Upon arriving at the set in his aunt's car, he was directed into the living room straight away. In the room a crowd gathered, they are the other participants, he looked arounded to be exact he didn't know anyone, though he would usually go find a crowd and put himself out there, this time he chose to stay quiet for awhile to rest.

A man walked into the room and begun talking, he said
"Alright everyone, tonight marks the first night of season two. We’ve got our veterans over here-…" as he gestured towards 3 people sitting on the couch. To be honest Hyunsoo hadn't seen season 1, in fact he didn't know what the man meant by veterans. However, he played a long and payed attention to everything the production crew was saying.
"…-and our newbies. For those who don’t know me, my name is Claude Fauré." he continued

Okay, Claude Fauré, Hyunsoo noted that down in his mind, he still hasn't really gotten used to the English names, though he was fluent in English , it will probably take him awhile before remembering all their names.

"You may address me as anything you see fit. Once I assign you to a bedroom, you will be given a roommate and we’ll begin filming. Now-…” as he continued “The cameras will be rolling at all times. I reiterate: at all times. Some moments may not
make the final cut but everything will be on film. Because the goal of this season is to prove that different species from different
Providences can in fact live in harmony, I would like to respectfully request that you hold yourself at some level of decency. Now, you’ll have about half an hour to get your things settled before the cameras start rolling so use them wisely."

"And now for roommates, Roisin Callan and HyunSoo Park in room #1" wait a moment, Roisin that's a girl's name right? oh no they didn't just assign him with a girl. They have got to be kidding haven't they ever heard of 男女授受不亲 he had learned that from Chinese class when he was younger, it meant something like "Men and women should not touch each other when giving or receiving an item" let alone living in the same room.

Just as he was going to attempt to escape, he saw his aunt at the door. He quickly approached her hoping that she could talk to the crew for him.
"Aunty please, this is going against traditions, no one ever said the opposition gender could live in the same room just like that!"
"HyunSoo this is just for a new experience, no please no old Chinese Sayings and don't worry too much about tradition"
"but then could you talk to the crew for me to make a room change, after all it was your idea.."
"no, I am not going to do that, now please just take this as an experience, if you really can't take it just wait awhile they change room frequently, now just have fun"
As a long discussion the two finally agreed that they will come to a compromise.

When he stood face-to-face with his roommate, she introduced herself "I'm Rose, looks like we'll be bunking together." the words "bunking together" bothered him a little but then he remembered what his aunt said about having fun and the agreement they agreed on. So he held out his hand for a handshake while introducing himself. "Hi I am HyunSoo Park, You can call me Parky or HS depending on which you prefer"

Having watched the last season, Rose is well aware that opposite sex pairings aren't uncommon for the show. She herself has no problem with it, but she understands that not everyone might be as comfortable with the arrangement as she is. Having watched her new roommate go off and talk with a woman working behind the scenes, Rose can only assume that the young man is either unhappy with the rooming arrangement, or feeling the onset of sudden shyness. Rose doubted it was the later, assuming that anyone who would sign up for the show had to be confident enough to handle being on camera and seen throughout the world.

Rose smiles as her roommate introduces himself, "Hi I am HyunSoo Park, You can call me Parky or HS depending on which you prefer"
"I like the sound of Parky." Rose replies, "I'll go with that." Rose would prefer not to butcher HyunSoo's name, she knows what it's like to have people constantly mispronouncing your name after all and isn't keen to do the same to someone else. That is why she's all too happy to go with Parky, which her Irish tongue can easily get around.

Around the pair many of the other cast members have already left the lounge, making their way up to their rooms or exploring the house. While Rose might be curious to know what her new room looks like, her true interest lies in the young man standing in front of her. Of course, she's met other species of supernatural creatures before, but they are almost exclusively only members of the Aos Sí, or fairy folk that call Ireland home. Having lived for so long among the same species, her curiosity about others around the world has only increased. Never has she met one from so far afield, at least until today.

While Rose hardly wants to scare him off by overwhelming him with her twenty and more questions, she feels it would be safe to at least ask the basics. "So Parky, what type of beasty are you? Did I hear in the interviews that you're a Gumiho?" Rose may have heard his interview from her place behind the stage, but she hadn't quite caught what a Gumiho was. "And what's South Korea like?"

Her knowledge of other countries is based almost entirely off documentaries, the internet, or second hand information from mortals who could travel between. She had had a boyfriend a decade ago who had gone on tour around Asia. He had come back raving around the cultures and the food. Rose didn't specifically oppose or support segregation, if it happened or didn't happen she wouldn't be particularly upset. Yet, the thought of traveling overseas and sampling the local delicacies (both edible and otherwise) is a rather attractive idea. She supposes this show is the first step in proving that different species can coexist, while it has also offered Rose a chance to travel across the globe and tick off one new country on her bucket list. Two birds with one stone as they say.

Rose Smiled responding to his question with "I like the sound of Parky, I'll go with that." To be honest Hyunsoo was really glad she chose Parky, the two letter HS just doesn't flow as much. "So Parky, what type of beasty are you? Did I hear in the interviews that you're a Gumiho?" She asked "And what's South Korea like?" as she added

"Well you know Gumiho is a nine tailed fox and they are suppose to have 9 lives or at least from the name, people assume that, but to be honest only a few people know those only pure blood Gumihos have 9 tails, as they become more mixed their lives either grew weak or just have lesser lives, my family had always been living in Korea we didn't really mix that much with other species, except my great grandmother was half human which was what my lives a little bit more weaker, but fortunately I haven't needed any of them yet, so hopefully I don't need to use any of them here" he joked. To be honest he didn't even know about the whole Gumiho until a couple of years ago. He had always thought he was human, but after he found out about his identity, he begun looking up more about himself, and learning more. However after Ho-Sook's death, he really regret finding out about his identity and really wished he didn't. He paused for a moment as he looked up around the set, then he spotted a very familiar face,Ho-Sook but then wait no, that's impossible, clearing his eyes, the face disappear, it must have been an illusion.

Going back onto topic he continued "If you ask me about Korea, I would say I love living there. The people, the culture, the music it's all amazing. Most important of all the food is really tasty, the Bibimbaps, the Ramyeons, and of course the Kimchi, I'll cook some for you if you want to try "He begins going on and on about his species and how korea has been like. Until he realized "Oh, I sorry I am I boring you?" he quickly apologized. "Let's get our stuff up to the room and then we can come back down later, and meet the others, but in the mean time, why don't you tell me about Northern Ireland, I have actually never been there before"

Rose pays close attention to the boy's description of what he is. Gumiho is certainly a new name to her and she's curious as to just what it means the male monster can do. As the Parky mentions that a Gumiho is a nine-tailed fox, Rose glances behind him quickly to ascertain whether on not he had any tails. Much to her disappointment none were to be seen. From that she had to assume that he was another one of those monsters who could change form. Rose herself had one form only, her current one. There was no shifting into a might dragon for her, or transforming into a beautiful mythical bird, she was as you find her. Not that she's too unhappy with that. The girl is rather proud of the way she looks and isn't too concerned with the need to change it.

"Oh, I sorry I am I boring you?" Parky asks. Rose shakes her head, a smile on her face.
"Not at all." She replies. Parky suggests heading up to their room and Rose nods in agreement, "Wonderful idea Parky." She agrees, turning on her heel and leading the way towards the second floor. As the pair make their way up the stairs Rose takes the time to correct and answer her roommate's other question.
"I'm actually from Cashel, which sits closer to Ireland's south." The girl shrugs as she walks up the stairs, attempting to find something more than 'It's okay', to say about her home. She loves Ireland, she truly does, but when you've in the same country for the past xx number of years you become used to it all. "I really like Ireland. We're got so many great artists and musicians. Most people are exceptionally friendly. If you go down to the pub chances are someone will buy you a drink." Rose shrugs, perhaps she wasn't doing the best job of selling it. It also occurred to her that she only thought someone would buy you a drink at the pub because it always happened to her. It helps to have a winning smile and a flirtatious glint in your eye for such things.

Before Rose can continuing selling her country to the Gumiho she finds herself facing door number one. Stepping into the room Rose nods in satisfaction, she would very happily stay her. She's not overly concerned with which bed she takes, so she simply dumps what she's holding on the first bed before turning to investigate her temporary home better. She's stayed in nice places before with various boyfriends. Hotels have always sent out the welcome wagon for her famous conquests so she's no stranger to luxury, yet there's something exciting about earning this completely on her own. Well... she supposes the 'earning' will come from spending time entertaining millions of people around the world.

"Hope you do mind I've taken that bed." Rose calls absently over her shoulder as she makes her way towards the bathroom. The shared bathroom is just as nice as the bedroom -Rose had hardly expected less-, and the girl already has a strong desire to jump in and have a warm shower. Fact about Roisin Callan, she could spend hours in the shower if allowed. As long as the water is hot, she's happy to stay.

Of course now it seems rather inappropriate to jump in the shower, especially when, from downstairs, she hears the call that filming has started. Stepping back into the room she finds a cameraman poised with the electronic device resting on his shoulder. She glances away, pretending the man and his large camera are not there. It won't be easy for everyone to constantly be on film, the veterens of course will have experience dealing with being in the limelight 24/7 and perhaps Rose has a slight advantage too, after all she's been to premieres and red carpet events in Ireland before. And the girl knows how to present herself to be seen to the best advantage.

The Isles of Sicily; one of the few territories in Ellium that isn't plagued by oppressive segregation. Populated by non-magic humans, it is a nesting ground for equality, adorned with beautiful beaches, rolling hillsides, and floral plains. Consortio Manor lays nestled on a mountainside, overlooking a beach that has been closed off for the use of the cast members. After a week of filming, Claude decides that you and your fellow cast mates deserve a bit of a break while they edit the first episode. Turns out this "breaks" doesn't translate the same to you as it does him. Instead of being free from the cameras in their entirety, Claude limits the amount of cameramen to two instead of the ten they have readily available. Gathering your bathing clothes, you and your cast mates set out to the beach for a day in the sun.

Crashing against the shore, small waves wash the night's debris onto the land. Untouched golden sand covers the floor as far as your eyes can see. Soothing, a gentle sea breeze rustles through your hair. Abandoned, nothing there apart from a few sea gulls pecking at the rubbish left by yesterday's visitors. The blazing sun beats down on the smooth, weathered rocks of the cliff side. The crisp seaweed pushed onto the rocks by the waves, lay baking at the sea's edge, occasionally moving with the tide. The clear blue sea's waves rattle the tiny pebbles embedded in the golden sand. The foam from the waves cover a small child's forgotten sandcastle, bringing it down with a dull crash. Closing off the edge of the beach is a cave, the entrance hidden from view, punctuating the extensive length of the shore side. Islanders mingle and gather far off in the distance, their presence inaudible even to the the creatures they're so far off.

Here marks the next week of filming Return to Reality. What impression will you make?
