Gar

Gar lies on the first circle. It is a nation whose culture very similar to Akhar’s, but much more restricting. Gar is supposedly ruled by the Blackmore family, but the current king is no more than a puppet to his advisors. Magic is a taboo in Gar, and anyone to different will be taken away by an Inquisitor and burned at the stake. The Inquisitor inherits everything in their victims’ wills and so will have somebody killed on any grounds they can find. Gar has been using magicite to fuel their rearmament by using it in the forging of arms and to power war machines. Gar is covered in moorland and frequent downpours.
