Born in Leol Reach, the Dragon child always had a tendency to want to settle issues with his fist. It was on his tenth birthday, however, did he learn that his fists were not his greatest weapon. Back in the days where conflict between the three largest factions were far more violent than now, Sora always found himself listening to battle tales from Leo Crest warriors who had returned from the Eternal Battlefield. The stories always told of how wonderful the adrenaline from fighting the enemy felt. They preached the justice killing Silver Streams and Crow Sabers brought. They were all the same. "I killed hundreds of them! maybe thousands!"

Them.

Weren't they all children of Ver? At a young age, of course, this wasn't exactly what the winged being was contemplating. But in the back of his mind, there had been a bit of question when it came to the borderline barbaric lifestyle of the Leo Crest representatives. But even so, he went with it. Living life as a child, getting into a few fights, and even a few all out brawls. But one of those brawls led to a life changing event.

He was backed into a corner by a gang of Sky demon misfits looking for revenge. This time around they were armed with fatal weapons. Daggers, knives, and even one of those new pistol contraptions. Sora thought he was done for. Death at the age of ten in an honorable fight. Would he be praised by the Warriors who told stories in the town square? No...No this was stupid. It would have been an extremely stupid way to die. The anger and realization of how dumb the petty fighting between all these factions triggered something inside of him. It triggered the truth. It triggered the mental awareness necessary to manipulate the spirit energy around him. It gave him Magic.

With an Angry Roar, he summoned a powerful gale of wind that took out the obnoxious gang in seconds.

It didn't take long for Leol Reach to hear of a Magus awakening. Not many approved of the practice of magic, but because of Sora's origin within the city, the held their peace for sometime. Although, that awakening caused the Sky Demon to look at the rest of the Leol Reach dwellers in a new way. A way he found disgusting. They weren't all vulgar beasts, but the majority were. It was too much to handle. So, by the time he turned eleven, he departed. Leaving he Sky Continent in its entirety, he hit the mainland of Ver and traveled from town to town on his own. Studying the art of Destruction magic, as well as healing magic.

As the years went by though, he eventually gained many friends along his travel. A majority of them being followers of the Silver Stream faction which he grew to respect.
