Description
Age: 34
Gender: Male
Race: Tugan Ferner
Appearance: He stands at 9 feet and 7 inches tall and weighs 520 lbs; he's very muscular, especially in the upper body. He has a bald head with large "fiery" eyebrows and a bushy mustache, both of which are dark red. His eyes and skin are a dark shade of grey. He wears a black leather jerkin over a pale blue tunic, a pair of brown trousers, and a pair of woolen shoes with leather soles. He owns a large vest of bronze scales, thick brass gauntlets, and a brass spangenhelm for protection. His weapon is an iron gladius named Valeros; it has a wide blade with parallel edges and a forked-tongue fluting, a guard shaped like the eye of an eagle, and a carved wooden handle with a pommel shaped like an eagle's talons. The horns on his head are short and thick, not extending too far from his forehead.
Background: Having a quiet childhood until his teen years, he was put to work in the mines of Tugan Bril. Life was fairly comfortable, but he yearned for excitement and adventure. At age 20, he acquired a taste for travel when he had to deliver ores overseas by his chieftain's orders. A few months after returning home, he decided to become an adventurer and said his farewells to his family; he promised to bring back souvenirs for them. For 14 years, he traveled around Tugan Bril, Enche Lanche, and Ametty, returning home to drop off gifts every few years. During those years of travel, he learned much more about the world than he ever would if he had stayed home instead.
Occupation: He is a wandering traveler that earns money through performing tasks for others, but he spends most of his time exploring the landscape and finding beauties never seen before by most. Years of travel have made him an adept climber and woodsman, and experience with interacting with others opened up his mind to new ideas. Making many friends on his journey around the land, he learned about new foods, other cultures, wondrous stories, and even practical fighting techniques.
Personality: Like most other Tugan Ferners, he usually keeps quiet. However, when he get started talking, he can spurt out quite a long tale; this does not mean he cannot talk tersely. Often, he is willing to listen to what other people have to say. He believes individuals should make most of their lives, yet, at the same time, slow down to smell the flowers. He wishes to be able to travel throughout the whole continent that surrounds the Tree of Kiden. What he despises most are long periods of boredom and tedious work sessions.
Sample Quote: "Hoho, that reminds me of my daring quest into the umbrageous forests of Southern Haubenor. Losing one's torch in the midst of complete darkness is like, I would say, being directly cast into hell itself. It's the feeling, really; that feeling of having immense distress bearing over your shoulders, trying to retrace your steps while completely blind. Now that was horrifying, especially knowing that Dauhan were lurking everywhere. Of course, that was before I had a proper weapon made for myself."
