Setting
She closed her eyes, walking barefoot along the crooked sidewalk of a busy street, trailing behind Elexia and Sourin. Her hood was up, shielding her from the blinding sunlight that had peaked through the clouds, protecting her from the chill of the autumn air. She kept her head down to avoid the constant stares of people that passed her, marking her for what she was, a follower. For many months, she had neglected to acknowledge the title, but she finally accepted it. It was better than being marked as a loser or not being marked at all. At least she was not forced to participate in the foul actions that Hansel and Gretel preformed against other people, and at least it wasn't her.
Hansel-
His ax was perched aimlessly over his shoulder. He had killed a decent amount of people earlier in the morning, twenty-four, so that his afternoon could be spent wrecking havoc among the town. He was, however, famished. His tongue was dry, making it hard for him to swallow. "Are you thirsty Elexia?" He asked, running a hand through his thick blonde hair.
"Hmm? Oh yes, a soft drink would be nice, thank you." She replied, giving him a blank stare.
Taking the lead, he turned and walked inside a small coffee shop. Gretel and Sarah May stayed outside while he ordered drinks, a coffee for himself, a Sprite for Elexia, and an apple juice for Sarah May.
Gretel-
Her mind was clouded with heavy worry. She couldn't tell why, but she knew something big was happening and they were a part of it. Sourin's words snapped her out of the trance she had been in, but the worry never left her mind.
"What's wrong this morning, Miss Carter?" Sarah May said as they sat down on the bench closest to the shop.
"I'm not sure yet Hood, but it's something important." Her voice was quieter than usual, and she had actually bothered to talk to the girl who gathered food when neither she nor Sourin felt like doing so. It was quite handy, but she was not fond of Sarah May tagging along everywhere they went. If she'd had any say in deciding her fate, she would have died at the Gypsy Camp.
