"I will transfer to a new school today, I believe it will be going well, I heard theres a kendo club there.
I also heard that 3 more students will transfer to the same school with me at the same time.
I had a dream of someone standing with her back to me. behind her was a giant tree which seemed dead, and nothing else was around us. she told me to come to her, but then I woke up, with a pendant around my neck...
Those words were written around the shape of the pendant: "When all the keys are placed together"... What keys? And why do I even have this pendant?
Strange glowing flower petals continue to fall from the sky continuously, they are lighting my room from the outside even now...
Whats even more strange than that, is that they disappear the moment they land...
Thats strange, but I might have something which is connected to that thing. Time to investigate..."

Back to the story, it rained unnatural cherry blossoms continuously, and no one knew when it was going to stop. It was really strange that the unnatural rain left no marks, and once the cherry blossoms landed, they disappeared. The 4 pendant owners all transferred to the same school that day. When they leave for their first day at school, is when your story starts. It starts... now.

It was morning, and Riyu was going to the new school the first day. He was sitting in his father's car, dressed in the new school's uniform. Riyu looked at his pendant closely, then at the falling cherry blossoms, which fell continuously from the sky since that midnight. "This has got to be a joke, for those cherry blossoms never stop falling, just what IS that unnatural thing...? Well, at least I got something to solve this... but it still doesn't make any sense - "When all the keys are placed together"... Just how I'm going to solve this?? Well, whatever time it takes me to solve this, I WILL solve this... Ah, theres the school gate..." He left the car, and walked towards the school gate.

After parking her car, Himawari turned the engine off & sat there for a few minutes. She'd arrived early, so she wasn't at all worried about being late for homeroom. Plus, the cherry blossoms that continued to spiral their way down in seemingly endless paths were very much a distraction. They were beautiful, she knew & would often catch herself staring at them, but they were also strange. "Kyaa ~ No! I've got to focus on school today," she snapped herself out of her thoughts, got out of the car & began heading towards the front entrance. "After all, today's my first day♥"

Miyako stood outside the school gate. She noticed cherry blossoms falling around her. "Beautiful, yet it's unnatural for them to be falling from the sky." She said to herself. She stood there for awhile thinking about how this related to a dream she had and absent mindedly fingered the pendant around her neck. "I wonder if I'm not the only new student here." Then she noticed two more students heading towards the school gate and she never like being around others so she rushed for homeroom.

Kuroda Kazuma sat in the homeroom class, his arms crossed across his chest, leaning back against his chair, his eyes closed as if in meditation. Around him he could hear the sounds of gossip and useless chatter.
"I heard Matsuda-sensei is getting fired this year..."
"Why don't you just go ahead and ask him out...."
"I heard we're getting some new students..."
The last bit piqued Kuroda's interest. This school rarely got new students, and now they were getting four, as Kuroda was hearing. New students hardly concerned him; as long as they didn't try to top him in the school test scores, or, less likely, try to 'defeat' him in Kendo, they would probably have little to do with him.

Instantly after a few seconds, she began noticing how there were other students looking at her with interest & curiosity. So she smiled kindly & kept on walking until she found her homeroom class. She entered & made her way towards an empty seat in the back. Throughout the entire walk, she heard nothing else but whispering about her being one of the new students. Inside, she soon came to realize, wasn't at all different. They continued to whisper amongst themselves, but a lot of those whispers weren't about her, but about a guy.

Miya entered her homeroom and choose a back seat next to a window. She stared at her list of classes and then sighed. All of her boring classes, ones she was best at, were first again like last year. The ones she considered fun were last. "I'm just looking forward to kendo." She muttered. "I hope I'm not the only girl. I've never joined the team and now at this school dad wants me to join." She stared out the window and tried to ignore all of the conversations. The cherry blossoms were still falling.

After having a little trouble finding his homeroom, Riyu entered the room, and immediately looked in every direction possible. He also wanted to have a seat near the window, so he could watch the cherry blossoms, but the only place left in the window's column was in front of a girl, which just sat there, watching the cherry blossoms. "Oh well, I got nothing good to do anyways, except to watch the cherry blossoms myself..." He muttered to himself, then walked towards that place. His pendant was entirely visible, but he didn't mind that. He took the seat, then just waited, still scanning the area.

From the back of the room, Himawari took notice of the other two students that had arrived. It was obvious that they were new since the whispering students would glance over at them, as well as her & the handsome guy, every once in a while. 'We're all new & we all came here at the same time...' Her line of thought was slightly interrupted upon noticing the pendant dangling from Riyu's neck. Seeing it made her hand automatically go for hers, which her thumb rubbed over with affection.
Himawari didn't understan why, but she suddenly got a strong feeling that things weren't as they appeared to be. There was more, but she couldn't place her finger on it yet.

At the sound of footsteps entering the room, and a sudden hush, and then increase, in the whispered gossip, Kuroda opened his eyes to see three new people had entered the room--most likely, three of the new students. A few other students were already walking over to them to greet them, introduce themselves, the entire 'initiation ceremony' for new students. None of the students were surprised, then, when Kuroda himself didn't bother to get up and take part. Any student in this school knew he was not one to approach others he didn't know well to socialise.
For the moment, he looked at the students, and then noticed one thing they all held in common: they were all wearing some kind of pendant. One of a sword, one of a waning moon, and one of a flower. Well, there was probably no connection--and if there was, it was none of Kuroda's business, and he aimed to keep it that way.

While Riyu was scanning the area, he suddenly noticed 2 things: The first one was a boy who looked kinda like him, but he didn't mind that. The second thing he saw was when he looked at the girl who was sitting behind him. Around her neck there was a pendant similar to his! Riyu was very surprised, so surprised so he barely managed to keep his cool, serious face. He hesitated for a second, but then asked: "W-When did you get that pendant?". He also noticed the girl was fingering that pendant, but he didn't notice she already saw his. He also could only barely control his tone of voice, so he sounded a bit loud. He noticed that right after, and apologized. Still, he was very surprised.

Snapping out of her thoughts, Himawari's eyes refocused before she glanced away from Riyu's pendant to look at his face. She could easily tell that he was surprised, but she didn't understand why until hearing his question—it was abrupt & slightly on the loud side, but she didn't mind very much at all. Her suspicions on the coincidence, however, grew a bit & she wanted to know the piece of information she was missing.

After he regained his coolness, he said: "Believe it or not, it's the same story with me more or less. I went to sleep without it, then woke up with it on me. So words are written on your pendant too... I have these words written on it - "When all the keys are placed together"... It might not make any sense, but this is what's written there. Now, if we combine those words - "When all the keys are placed together, the one which never blooms will bloom"... still doesn't make sense, but at least I got another clue. Um, sorry, I mean WE got another clue..." He paused for a few seconds, then continued "They said it will be raining today. If those cherry blossoms continue falling, I got no idea what can solve this. Except this." He said, as he pointed to his pendant, and dark clouds began covering the sky.

At first, Himawari was a bit surprised that they had experienced practically the same thing. However, she soon relaxed & began fingering her pendant again—all whilst listening to him talk. What was going on exactly? Everything was connected, she knew, but she hadn't a clue why. On a second glance, Kuroda noticed them apparently comparing their pendants. Probably debating whose is better, he reasoned bitterly. He turned away from the two new students to look out the window, and grimaced. Rain. The dark clouds gathering to blot out the sun told him clearly that the one type of weather he hated would be coming soon, and heavily. Kuroda was typically not one to care so much for such trivial things, and indeed most of the time, things like genre of music, model of car, or model of computer hardly mattered to him. He simply couldn't stand rain. However, he had little time to dwell broodingly on the weather, as the class teacher strode in, and he returned his attention to the class.

Yuki was later than he wanted to be. He had only slept in a few minutes, which made him a few minutes late for everything. And by the time he got to the school, his approximated time that the other students getting to school had already past, and he was stuck with walking by himself. But looking at the crumpled paper in his hand, he pulled on his cat-ear hat, and ran inside. An older student stopped him, introduced himself as council vice, and told him to not run in the hallways. The vice looked at Yuki as if he were a girl. Yuki couldn't really blame him, he was feminine, and wore kinda girly clothes. But nevermind that, Yuki had come to across the room that was labled 'Homeroom' on the papaer in his hand.

The fan-shaped pendant he had aquired the night before dangled from its place around his neck, shining brightly in the light of the classroom. he walked in and took a seat infront of a handsome young man. He turned around quietly, and held out a hand, ignoring the constant whispers. "I'm Yuki. A new kid I guess." He said with a smile. He sighed as his ear captured one of the whispers. "That girl is really cute..." someone said. "She's pretty flat in the front tho! Haha!" Yuki knew he was a guy. And as long as he knew, it was ok.

Kuroda looked up to see one of the new students...a girl, by appearance. At least, Yuki looked and somewhat dressed like a girl. And though he had not wanted to be disturbed, Kuroda was never one to be rude, so he shook Yuki's hand when it was offered. "I am Kuroda Kazuma. Pleased to make your acquaintance, welcome to this school. I hope you find it to be satisfactory." Kuroda replied to Yuki's introduction. At that moment, the bright light reflecting off the fan pendant around Yuki's neck caught Kuroda's eyes, and he looked down to see the pendant hanging at Yuki's neck. Another one of those pendants...all four new students have one of these pendants. I am now doubting it could be coincidence...they probably know each other.

"The thing is, that there IS NO such coincidence to begin with..." Riyu told himawari in the same low tone. "I think someone chose the pendant owners very cautiously, making them all meet each other in the shortest time possible... The question is, why not to choose 4 people who are already friends with each other? Why bothering to choose 4 random people, who will meet in the shortest time possible? I don't think we will find the answer soon, but I think that when this will all be solved, we will know it. For now, I think the other clues will come to us shortly." Riyu looked through the window again, and was surprised once again. "I-Impossible! Its raining, and the cherry blossoms STILL fall! Now its a serious incident..." As the teacher walked into the room, Riyu told himawari that they would continue talking at a later time, and turned to the board. He didn't notice Yuki yet, but he heard a sentence about a new girl...

With a nod of understanding, Himawari also turned to face the board. She leaned forward, placed her elbows on the desk & rested her chin atop her light fists. Being a good student, but no where close to being a teacher's pet, she would have begun to pay attention by then; however, she had other things to think about—things that seemed to matter more to her at the moment.

Their pink lightness didn't appear to be harmed or bothered by the water at all. 'Our lives are about to take a drastic turn, huh? Well, what will be, will be.'

Miya hadn't said anything but had listened to the whole conversation between two other new students. "There is no such coincidence in this world only inevitablity." She said aloud without thinking a few students turned to her, a slight blush on her face appeared. Why did I say that? She thought as she noticed another student had come in. Another pendant, Miya pulled out her's and studied. I guess I should find out about this later.

The time passed, and the lunch break had finally arrived. "Want to go together? I saw the cafeteria down there, its inside the building..." He asked Himawari, this time in a normal tone. Still sounded serious, as this was his "default" tone. Despite that, he seemed spaced out, as he thought about something else... He also heard some side conversations between the students from his thoughts - "I saw three of the new students. they all appear to have some kind of a pendant, wonder if they know each other..." "Really?! they all have it?!" "I'm telling you the truth! Its real! Only their shapes are different..."

With a smile, Himawari nodded in acceptance to his invitation. She was glad that he'd asked since she hadn't been looking forward to eating alone at a new school. "I hope so too, but it might just be that," she replied as she smoothed out her skirt after standing up. Everything seemed to be slowly changing, little by little... with a few clues scattered about, & it felt sort of nostalgic in an odd way.
"Oh! My name's Himawari Katsumo, it's a pleasure to meet you," she said with a smile on her face & a giggle. She found it a little funny that she'd completely forgot to introduce herself earlier.

I won't stop you from going or not going, but I'm asking you anyway."
As they got to the cafeteria, he saw a small TV hanging from the corner. News were broadcast, and he could see it was about the cherry blossoms, and expert scientists trying to interpret what was happening. "Look over there, as the experts of the world will be trying to solve this incident, and just won't be able to, and we are the only ones who can solve it... At least I think so..."
So, with Himawari accepting, they both went towards the cafeteria. Walking along side him, Himawari opened her mouth to answer Riyu's question; however, before she could, the TV caught her attention. It was no longer hard to believe that endless blossoms were falling from the sky. It was almost normal in an odd sort of way. The thing that did surprise her a little, though, was what Riyu said next. It shouldn't of, from her perspective, considering that she'd been thinking about it a lot since the school day started. But being compared to experts & knowing that they couldn't do anything, but a group of teenagers could was relived realization.
"I'd love to solve this with you," Himawari murmured as she took her eyes off the small screen in order to look at him. She tilted her head slightly to the side & smiled sweetly.

Lunch break had arrived. Miya grabbed her bag and walked out of the classroom and decided to watch the cherry blossoms fall, not caring that the rain was soaking her. She had seen every new student had a pendant like hers, just a different shape. She reached out and caught a petal of one of the blossoms. "I guess solving the mystery about these blossoms would be nice. Though I'm not sure if I want too." She thought and pulled her shinai out of her bag. "I guess since I'm not hungry I could practice till it's time for class." She started to pratice strikes and footing. The cherry blossoms swirling around her as she did this.
