Jo merely sheathed his sword and started to walk towards the rushing gangsters. When they finally reached each other it was a strange site. It seemed that the old man just walked down middle of them and the men were unable to hit him.
Though if you were more keen person you would notice that the old man was using special footwork and was shifting his weight so that the blades would only miss him by inches.
When Jo had made his way through the men needless to say the gangsters were stunned but not nearly as much as when they notice that the old man had also managed to lift all of their money pouches.
Now normally this would be enough to scare off about any adversary. But what happened next cleared any fear that the gangsters may have had for Jo.
CRACK!
Was the sound everyone could here coming from Jo's back.
"AGH MY BACK!" Jo cried as he fell to the ground holding his back.
Many face faults insued.
"Calm down old man you just need to take your medicine." Jo declared to himself as he reached to for his drinking gourd and then proceeded to chug all the sake he could.
"All...All...AAAAAAAAAAllllll Beeeeeeeter." Jo stuttered as he got back to his feet.
More face fault ensued.
"Well this makes things easier." One of the gangsters plainly stats.
"AAAAAh, I'm over there." Jo tells them pointing to his left with his right hand.
"LIKE WE WILL FALL FOR THAT AGAIN!" The now even angrier men yelled.
"Look behind you." Jo then tried.
"Really, that is the best you can do?" One of the gangsters asked annoyed.
Only they really should have looked behind them.

Their were a lot of dead men here and they were the ones who had killed them. Now they only killed them in self defense but Jo had in similar situations where the lord wouldn't listen to reason so Jo really did not trust too many of people of authority.
So he decided that the best course of action might be to put as much distance between them and the city before the city guard caught wind of the little "incident."
"Young man why don't we change the venue of the duel to somewhere else where there will be less distractions." Jo suggested to the other swordsman.
"HALT NO ONE MOVE!" A voice rang loudly.
Ah crap.

The girl slowly struggled up to her feet, panting at the amount of energy she had wasted running away from them. She watched around her for any signs of movement from the officers. Who was going to attack first? Even though she had braveness, she also had fear in her eyes. Maybe she was going to die.
