Description
Name: Kurokawa Kazuma-san
Age: Eighteen
Gender: Male
Weapon: Yumi, with wakizashi/tonto.
Appearance: Kazuma is a tall and strapping young lad of just under six feet, and weighs a solid one-hundred sixty or so pounds. He has long blonde hair kept back neatly in the standard and practical military ponytail. Despite the fact that all he seems to do is spend his time outside, Kazuma is astonishingly pale. His eyes are a deep emerald green, and they speak a lot more than he ever will. One can tell his mood by simply looking at his eyes. Built much like the weapon he uses, Kazuma is very slender, but all the more muscular because of it. The only other thing of note about Kazuma's appearance is the presence of a long scar across his throat, just below the chin. (**Note** I couldn't find a fitting picture, because most of society believes samurai only used katanas, even though history proves otherwise. **End Note**)
Personality: Quiet and seemingly withdrawn, Kazuma takes a deeply analytical approach to life. He trains hard, and works hard, but only if he truly believes in the cause. Even if he seems withdrawn, he is known to have a sense of humour in agreeable company (even though some don't quite understand it). Kazuma is infallibly loyal to whomever he thinks needs his loyalty most, but will leave and take his service elsewhere if his loyalty is being used with ill intent.
Likes: Training, learning, hunting, horses.
Dislikes: Ignorance.
Fears: Failure to uphold his family name.
History: Kazuma was born the only son to Kurokawa Masato-sama, the last known Kurokawa samurai to still live. Being the youngest child in a family with only six older sisters to keep him company wasn't as bad as some people had it. Knowing nothing but almost constant training and learning from the day he was old enough to wield a weapon, Kazuma quickly realised he could either enjoy it, or refuse the life he was given and suffer continuously. He chose the former, and well exceeded his father's expectations. The culmination of his training would have been a grand day, for it was also his birthday; the day he would become a man. Unfortunately, nobody can have a completely happy past, and Kazuma had his world turned upside-down. The day he was to become a samurai, he merely became a ronin, and received the scar on his throat as a testament to his mistakes. He may tell the story, if one were to inquire as to the nature of his scar.
