Appearance: In full Crusnik form, which happens whenever he is on the hunt officially, is quite the sight to see. He sprouts large wings with feathers akin to steel, and his eyes turn red, along with the sudden sharpening to his features and body parts. Not that his features didn't already appear sharp. In his humanoid form he can pass as actually human for the most part. He has that pale disposition that so many at the Sanctuary are endowed with. His eyes are normally an icey blue, and his hair a snowy white, he is loathe to dye it any other color, and is going to try to get away with the excuse of simple having bleached it. Toned muscles line his body, and his skin is quite hard to the touch, though by no means cold, rather it is quite warm. He is usually seen with music in his ears

Krusnik, Cruxim, Krusik if you can't pronounce 'n's, his name, like many others, is all over the place. He was not born with the name Axel anyway as well, he chose it, along with his unimaginitive last name, as all Crusnik do. Not that there are many, very few actually. Basically, he was made to eat Vampires, drink there blood just like they drink the blood of humans. A swipe at the vampire race made by the church. His abilities include flight, strength a third more than that of a Vampire, and speed a third more than that of a Vampire, which is quite strong and QUITE fast. The senses of a Crusnik are hightened considerably, all except for eyesight, which is useless when trying to hunt at such quick speeds. He is immune to most methods of phsycic intrusion, or at the very least he can tell when it is being done to him. And he doesn't have anything against daylight, crosses, or garlic. Though 'running' water does have an effect on him, much like strong acid would on a normal person, though he heals quickly. But unfortunately, his powers do tend to get low without Vampire blood for long periods of time. It has been quite a while for him (hundred or so years), so he probably couldn't lift a car as easily as he used to....or at all. Meh. His other senses have dullened as well, probably to that of a normal human, or only marginally better.
As for eating, he does so normally, but it doesn't fuel any extra powers, rather it just fills his belly. He needs Vampire blood to fire himself up.
Personality: Cavalier and blunt, Axel is not shy and poorly restrained in his behavior. All traces of a priest in training have quite left him. He views himself as a bit of a monster, and a doomed to wretchedness one at that, so at times he may seem depressed. But really he cracks jokes and plays on satire quite often, so people wouldn't know otherwise. He is friendly in the sense that he treats everyone with the same incordial botherly manner. Striking a conversation with him is easy, and so is earning his attention. However if so happen to make him upset or make him distrust you, he holds a bit of a grudge. He is a laid back person, and doesn't mind bending rules at all.
Bio: Early 1400’s, the church is at its wit’s end; vampires are attacking without mercy according to some, and according to others they are simply myth, and there is no such thing. The church declares it a holy matter, and says demons are punishing the sinful; those who know the truth are silenced or have been well informed enough to leave the city. Axel, then called Luke, is a priest in training, his master is one of the few who know the truth.
Long story short, they are driven further, and find that they are at a loss to save innocent souls from a damned fate, and so the group turns to a darker solution. Poor Luke is in the middle of it, and he is chosen against his will to serve as sacrifice for this solution. The ritual is performed, he is changed for life, and the priests have what they need. Some know this much of Axel’s past, but what he is ashamed to tell is of his vengeance, he has done darker things since he was changed, and his hands are as stained with blood as his throat. He doesn’t say much, not that many at Sanctuaire do in the first place though…..
