Inner Self's Name Martellus
Age 25 in the waking world and undetermined in the dreamscape
Gender Male
Personality Martellus comes across as cold and uncaring at first due to being a difficult character to read or gauge, hidden behind the walls he has built between himself at those around him but he is loyal and protective of those he cares about even if it may not be obvious till needed. However despite this he is incredibly paranoid and fearful of anyone getting close enough peel away his defences and open up what he keeps buried, as his inner self is somewhat fragile and has resulted in a tendency to seek his own counsel and condemn his own choices.
Appearance

Outwardly he is first seen as a tall 8’7”, heavyset and hulking figure wearing thick silvery blue armour, and depending on his mood, covered in spikes. The armour is carved with runes and iconography depicting dreams and memories and hopes of his waking and inner self; which mixes, merges and changes depending on his current temperament. He has a long oval shaped shield in one hand and a long handled mace in the other, thought he has been known to wield other items when the need arises.
Beneath the armour he is a thin almost skeletal boy standing at 4’7” with somewhat gaunt features and sharp, piercing blue-grey eyes. His skin is pale and covered in the remains of cuts, scars, pockmarks and burns that appear to have been collected over decades or maybe even centuries. However most of these details on lost on the casual observer as his body is wrapped in bandages, criss-crossing across his flesh in an attempt to hide his injuries from his toes to his neck; with the bandages stopping just above his mouth. He wears deep blue jeans and a black shirt under a black hoodie to hide himself from the world, so that the rest of his features remain a mystery.
Equipment Martellus’ soul sphere has two pulses, one which is the main part of its power while the other is a subsection that he has learned to imbue the former with in times of need.
The first of his soul spheres pulses affords him the ability to created and shape a mental substance which is primarily formed as a metallic compound. With this he is able to encase his entire body in metal, forming armour and weapons to his mental wish.
His second allows him to channel energy through his armour and weaponry to create a force of electricity throughout, and empower his strikes. While possible for him to throw balls of energy as a mythic god this drains him quickly so he has honed over years of practise to be able to shape it with his tools so that it does not tire him as easily.
History
Since Severus was very young he used dreams and his imagination to escape a childhood he would rather forget. At first he pushed his childlike nature deeper inside his dreams to protect it from the pain of the waking world, as he had no other means to defend himself. Not something he discusses with many, if with anyone, all that is known about his life before he came to the dreaming is that his father beat and tortured the boy into a coma on the eve of his sixteenth birthday before their home burned to the ground, taking his two younger sisters and mother with it.
Because of the trauma he sustained in the waking world he has not left the dreamscape in more years than he cares to remember, hiding the memory of the pain deep inside. To Martellus it is the reality of the waking world which seems like a dream, or more likely a nightmare, from which he has escaped. And he lives in fear of being forced to return to that world and awaken in hell itself. Here he is able to do what he couldn't when awake, protect what he cares about. However this fear has driven him slightly mad over the years since his body ceased waking and he does not know how long he has been 'freed' but he does remember the day a darkness fell and his haven has become in his eyes the lesser of two horrific evils.
