Jay groaned, trying to climb out of bed to shut off his stupid alarm clock. Getting up for High School in Canada was just as bad as it was in the States' for him. Tossing on his usual garb, the boy with the jet black hair was adjusting his wristbands and packing his latest Fighting Technique Magazine for later, so once he leveled up, he had some options, unlike last time where he had been limited to whatever moves he could remember.
-
Appearing at the school, he noticed the doors had been locked.
Again.
blinking, he pulled his left leg back for a kick…
"…"
A Flame-like developed around it, colored Dark Blue.
"Goushin…(Divine Strength)"
His eyes quickly became wide in a quick shot.
"AAAATAAAAAH!!!!"
And he proceeded to angrily kick the door like a badass reincarnation of Bruce Lee kicking a fatman and causing him to explode.

Ravyn woke up at seven, got dressed, and grabbed a poptart before walking out the house. Her new house. In Canada.
Same routine, different country.
Something different happened today however that she didn't usually see everyday back in the State's. A boy with jet black hair was kicking the school doors. Repeatedly. She stood there looking at him for a while, slightly amused. Did the door somehow personally offend him?
"Dude, why are you abusing the door? What did the door ever do to you?" she finally asked.

"The assholes didn't open the damn doors!" He barked. "If they're gonna go to the trouble of waking us up, they ought to be prepared!"
Pulling back his foot and dusting off the Ki Flames, he crossed his arms, and stood against the door, eventually sliding against the door.
"I already looked through the windows. Not a soul in there. Buses haven't arrived either. The cars in the parking lot are just there to make it look like the adults are working, so they can get their paychecks earlier for 'being good employees.'
Then, he slipped over, and whispered into the girl's ear.
"And they said there was going to be good lunches this year. O_O" He added. "I had to confirm it."

"So what now? Are we supposed to wait or somethin'? Because I have better things to do, like...not be...here" she said.

He looked out towards the street
"I could use a proper breakfast while It's still Early!"

"My mom's got a breakfast place somewhere around here, just opened up a few weeks ago--when we moved. I guess I can find the way if we walk around a bit. Ever hear of 'The Waffle'? Original name right? My mom came up with it. I guess it's catchy though. I like it," she shrugged.
"So let's go. Maybe you'll get a discount since you're with the boss' daughter" Ravyn said and started walking.

He eagerly followed Ravyn, taking in the fine sights of Toronto as he drooled about all the different things he'd get to eat, including the amazing Poutine which was preached as a great culinary treat in Canada, and said to add +3 STR and god knows what else that could help him out. Then he started to drool at the thought of various meats like steak, or beef, Seafood like Lobster, Crab, and Clams, and at the moment, pancakes, eggs, bacon, and as Ravyn said, Waffles…He was going to flood the town.
"Sho, wush town laik suh furh?" He asked, a waterfall of drool pouring steadily.

"I could use something to do, I mean other than work and school." She turned back around and kept walking, the diner coming into view and a man in a waffle suit standing in front of the restaurant trying to attract customers. "Poor sucker," Ravyn muttered shaking her head. "Well at least it isn't me."
To Jay she said, "Come on, you'll love the food my mom's a great cook."

"We'll find a way after this meal." Promised Jay, pulling out his wallet. "And I don't doubt your mom's skillz. I can smell the food through the doors."
He took a huge sniff of the aroma, and licked his lips, rubbing his hands together, eager to eat up. He looked around at the nicely decorated area, and saw only a few other people.
(If you can play Ramona, we can have her and Scott in the background. :D)

Coughing lightly, the blonde sat up. It had once again been a night of 3 sleepfull hours. Standing, she merely finger-brushed her short blonde hair and pulled on a hat.
"These are clean." She said, stifling a yawn as she looked at the outfit she had on. Shaking her head, she picked up her bag and slipped on her shoes.
"Stupid brats... Have to get up at 7 pm... Why can't they teach themselves?" She grumbled, purple clouds of dread circling her head as she walked down the street.

The boy smiled as he stood on the balcony of his condo, covered only by a fuzzy pink robe he had found the night before.
"I wonder what the weather will bring today." He cooed, his tumb gently rubbing over the handle of his coffee mug. Looking down to the watch on his wrist, he cocked his head.
"Don't I have to work today?" . _ .

"Thanks, I appreciate you wanting to help me,"Ravyn said with a small smile. "Ravyn?" she heard someone call who sounded like her mom. She turned around to see her mother, hands on her hips and apron on, with a questioning look on her face. "What are you doing here?" Mrs. Dust asked. "And who's this?"
Ravyn shrugged. "No school today apparently, oh and this is Jay," she said.
"Okay then, you guys want something to eat? On the house for today," Mrs. Dust said smiling at the two of them. "Can I have your chocolate chip waffles? With whipped cream on top?" Ravyn asked, getting hungrier with the aromas that were coming from the kitchen.

Scott was taking off Ramona's Jacket, followed by his own, as the two sat down at a table. Scott liked this place. It was 'totes' cool. He began to look through the menu, as his stomach grumbled, followed by a bar near him that read 'HUNGER.' He rubbed his stomach, and made a whining noise, before checking his wallet. Huh. Looks like he only had two dollars. Looks like the second time this month Ramona had to back him up.
"Heeeeyyy, Ramona-Baby…" Scott tried to say, hoping his (+3) charm would get to her.

"So Jay, tell me. What's there to do around here? What do you usually do for fun?" Ravyn asked.
---------
Ramona rolled her eyes and sighed. "You owe me," she said, "again." She checked her wallet to make sure she had enough. Money, check. She looked back at Scott. "Huh. I think your hair's gotten longer" she said then reached out to touch his hair. "Yeah, it's definitely grown out."

Scott was like ':D' at Ramona helping again and kissed her on the cheek, before his lover began touching his hair. He felt as if he wasn't doing his job as 'Her man,' or, 'her hubby,' or much more simply, her boyfriend. Stealing someone's hat and forcing it onto his head of hair, he shrank into a chibi form of sorts and turned red.
"Should I get a haircut? I mean, I can totally get a haircut if you want. D:"

Ramona shook her head and tried to hide her grin. "Scott don't freak out, I mean it's just hair." She kinda regretted saying anything about his hair but she had to admit it was kind of funny. "Besides, I like your hair; long or short, oh and, maybe you should give that guy back his hat." Said guy was looking around confusedly for his beloved hat.

He saw the food reach the table and put his hands together, nodding his head forward. "Thank You."
And he began to dig in.

":D" went Scott, giving back the hat. Suddenly, he heard someone could beat him on Street Fighter. Something snapped inside of him, as he stood up out of the seat, and glared.
"Alright, who thinks they can beat me?!" He barked. "I'm the best Ken Player EVAH."

Tara huffed sleepily as she looked at the row of shops. Looking to the sword on her hip, she adjusted it slightly so that annoying hilt was continusly bumping into her hip. Settling on waffles for breakfast she made her way to the resturant with the same name. Slowly, she slunk in, looking about at the teenagers that dotted the place. Deciding on a booth somewhere in the distant corner, she set her bag of 'tools' on the seat next to her and scooted her way in.
Taking out her phone, she began to type a message.
"Note to self... A 12 pck of Ramune is not a good mixture with chclte mochi." Saving the note she sighed and placed her head on the cool table top. She knew what she wanted, and would just wait for the waitress or waiter to come around. With all the noise going on, best not to add to it.
RONIX
Ronix smiled his normal dopey smile as he made his way down the shops, his Coffee Bean Cafe uniform worn with pride. As he made his way down the street, he looked in all of the shops or yards that lined it, looking for the latest gossip or cute pair of shoes.

Ramona rolled her eyes. Scott was so competitive. "Maybe you should sit down...people are staring," she tried. But of course when Scott was like this there really was no reasoning. Oh well. She looked at the boy who had indirectly challenged her boyfriend and thought vaguely that he didn't stand a chance--she'd seen Scott in action. Her gaze went over to the girl he was with. She liked her blue hair. Maybe it was time for her to dye her hair again?

"I bet I can beat you so bad!" taunted Scott, pointing at Jay.
"Shoryuuken (Sure-You-Can)" Trolled Jay.
'W-Wha?! nevermind. I'm Scott Pilgrim, and I can ULTIMATELY annihilate you!"
"Oh Yeah? What's the most basic Street Fighter Combo? Hm?"
Scott drew a blank. It wasn't the shoryuuken, and not the hurricane kick, both of which he used often. Jay blinked. This guy really was a hardcore Ken Player. Just like in the character's backstory, he didn't care much for Ki and fireballs.
"They Call Me Hadouken, Cause I'm DOWN-RIGHT FIERCE." Trolled Jay again. Scott Growled, as the two raced off to do battle at the arcade.

Tara groaned softly with the yelling, sitting up she let her head rest on her hand as she watched. Boys, no suprise there. And they where arguing about Video games... Again. No suprise. Stretching, the girl slid her sword from around her hip and propped it up against the wall, nodding lightly to a waiter who brought her a cup of coffee. Looking to the girls - their girlfriends she guessed - she smiled lightly. At least there where other females in the area. Looking back to her coffee she took a sip, letting the warm liquid slowly sooth the Ramune hang over.

"YOU OKEH, BUSTAH?!" shouted Terry ingame, taunting.
"ZANRETSUKEN! (Thresher Punch)" Shouted Ryo ingame, as he pummeled Terry back to his corner.
Terry pounded a fist into the ground, sending a wave of golden Ki energy at Ryo. "POWAH WAVE! (Power Wave)"
Ryo was knocked back, just getting up as Terry used a dash punch. The fist was engulfed in a blue flame of ki.
"BURN KNACKER! (Burning Knuckle)"
Ryo responded by throwing a one handed Fireball "Kohoken! (Tiger Flame Fist)"
Scott got lucky by pressing a couple buttons together, and moving out of the way of the fireball, before an even larger one came his way.
"HAOH SHO KO KEN!"
Terry stepped out of the way again, and was about to try a burn knuckle, when Ryo used a 'Ryuuko Ranbu' super move. Ryo began to unleash a barrage of every technique he knew, ending with a Haoh Sho Ko Ken, and a shoryuuken type uppercut.
Terry's health bar looked empty, so Jay expected a K.O. Scott had Terry do one last move.
"RISING TACKLE!" Shouted Terry, doing a weird kick move, as Ryo countered with his own. "HIEN SHIPPU KYAKU! (Lightning Legs Knockout Kick)"

"SHIT I'M LATE!" She jumped up from the table and grabbed her things, tieing the sword through ther belt loops. Quickly she set a 10 on the table and darted out of the cafe, mummbling an "Excuse me" as she darted past the girls. Her converse barely made a noise as she found her way to the Dojo. Panting she skid to a halt and fumbled for her keys, nodding an apology to a group of children and their grumbling fathers.
