Personality: Yuuta comes across as a person who holds tradition dear to his heart, he will defend those close to him with great fervour, especially his family, the business or close friends. He still clings onto the dying ideas of chivalry and honour.
However, in his endeavours, he tends to act distant and complacent which tends to show him in a more negative light that he would like to be seen, almost arrogant. This view is not helped by the fact that Yuuta keeps himself to himself, rarely showing any emotion, especially to the outside world.
Yuuta finds it difficult to express himself and says things that he doesn’t mean as to cover it up, usually in the form of sarcasm or tasteless remarks. It makes him appear quite selfish and spiteful.
On the chance that Yuuta opens up, he is much nicer to be around. He retains his dignified behaviour, but he loses his abrasive verbal self-defence and becomes much more talkative and shows a completely opposite side to his usual facade.
He has been criticised by many businessmen because of his ‘equality policy’, which means he pays all his workers the same amount regardless of who they are.
Likes: Yuuta values order and organisation highly, he likes things to run as smoothly as possible. He appreciates hard work and he likes to reward those that please him, rather than reprimand those who do not. He is deeply interested in history and has an extensive collection of weapons and armour from all over the world and an art gallery of the most inspirational leaders to have lived. He is a great lover of classical music, mainly from the Baroque era, but recently has acquired a taste for more modern music as well. He likes strategically games like chess, risk and even monopoly.
Dislikes: Fire. Yuuta hates fire, he would prefer it if fire was abolished, but he understands that it would be impossible to do so as it has too many uses. He is also hates dirt, soot and the smell of gas, which means he has never visited any of the power stations he owns. Yuuta refuses to hunt animals for fun, which some of his extended family have taken to doing.
Fears: Chaos and disorder is the biggest fear that Yuuta has, the breaking down of everything he feels life needs to function properly.
History: From as early as Yuuta could remember he had been in a private school, being taught how to grow up to be a wealthy brat, and to some extent he did. He spent sixteen years of his life there, learning science, maths, history and economics. He did fairly well and came out of it with decent qualifications.
He had barely known his parents; he knew they were there because he had seen them on the TV and a fleeting glimpse every now and again in the family mansion. Yuuta was only ten when his parents died in a freak accident that caused the jet they were flying into to burst into flames and crash. His grief was disturbingly short, only lasting for a single year before he seemed to have gotten over it completely. He puts it down to never really bonding with them in the first place. Because Yuuta was too young to inherit the business, his Uncle stepped in and ran it in his place.
Yuuta then went into university and started studying advanced economics. However he lost interest and dropped it, taking the history of warfare instead and coming out with a degree in history. Now, he co-owns D-Power and is trying his best to keep it running.
