The Mountain Regions

Among the various mountain regions are where the Dogenphlo people tend to build their cities, carving them into the faces of the mountains for a brief shelter before mining out the sturdy metals and rock with which they build the cities. Whole mountain ranges have been turned into these blocky cities, starting with a small colony and expanding ever outward. The volcanic nature of most mountains on the surface means that Dogenphlo tend to move from range to range as the mountains which form their homes become active and erupt. The largest cities are those who’ve gone longest without experiencing an eruption, and are made of massive, soaring towers which stretch higher than the peaks of the mountains they sprout from.
