Personality

Cynoc is usually sad, as his body language and the look in his eyes could tell anyone who glances at him for more then a second could tell. He usually doesn't try to act it around others though, usually trying to act upbeat to keep others the same way, even if he doesn't always succeed at it.

Equipment

Cynoc's power is a type of telepathy, except that instead of reading thoughts or controlling minds, he can feel the emotions coming from people. Even if they're smiling on the outside, he can feel how sad or worried they might be on the inside. It isn't part of his power, but he often reflects what he feels. This is modified by the proximity to the person and how powerfully they are feeling their emotions.

He also has the ability to push emotions into people's heads, or push their emotions out, though he never uses it anymore and even if he did it would be extremely taxing on him in both a mental and physical capacity.

It can run free and start observing everyone's emotions around him, though that can get difficult to comprehend, so it is almost second nature to Cynoc now to block it out completely until he decides to use it or let it go.

History

There are a lot of dark and sad people in this world, and Cynoc has been unfortunate enough to have been around many of them since he was young. He had many horrible experiences in his past that were magnified in a mentally damaging nature due to his ability. It was started and always punctuated by an abusive father, who only grew more so as he got older and more so again when he learned Cynoc was a "freak". Being beaten by a father who both hated and feared you and enjoyed it while you felt these emotions passing around inside of you nearly caused mental breakdowns and permanent psychological damage to a young Cynoc. He was lucky enough to have come out of it with only a permanent sadness that only manages to disappear temporarily at times. A hidden part of his past sealed his fate and was also what brought him to Shadowmere as well, though he suspects it will always remain hidden.
