A pillow flew across the bedroom he was in as Alexander was finally awakening from his sleep. The young man appeared to be a bit... Flustered. One could suppose that having a dream about being invited to mansion, and accepting mind, then waking up to find oneself in the
same mansion could have some unintended consequences. Like wondering how in the hell did it all happen! Alex calmed down (Enough anyway) and laid in the bed. It was a rather comfortable bed sure, but it wasn't
his bed. You can never beat your own bed, however this bed right here was pretty close. Alex began to worm and writhe under the red sheets, testing the feathery mattress and satin sheets. It was like it was manufactured just for him and him alone... "Yeah, alright. Maybe you can beat my bed. Wherever it is right now," Alex said to himself.
He sat a glance over to his side where a card laid. He remembered a card in his dreams, but for the life of him could not remember what it said. He merely glared at the embolded card for a little bit before jerking a hand towards it a ripping it away from the night stand. He held it in front of his face and began to read the note.
Welcome to Fate's Mansion.
Your presence is requested at the Dining Hall. Your questions will be answered there, and breakfast will be served as well.
Regretfully, since you have been born under a Sign, you cannot be allowed to leave.
-Fate
The last bit was unnerving and caused him to fling the card across the room as well. "That's a crock. I didn't even know what I was getting myself into when I said yes," Alex argued with himself, "I mean I was having a friggin' dream. You always say yes in a dream. It always leads to good things. Not being abducted in the middle of the night!" He said, frustration mounting. However... Free breakfast. That appealed to him. Plus, he had some questions. Like what in heaven's name was this sign nonsense? Sure, he already knew his sign had something to do with a lion... Or maybe a tiger. Bears? Oh my.
Alex opted to lay in bed for a couple of more minutes before rolling out, taking the cover and sheets with him, causing the fabric to lay on the floor haphazardly. He exited the big red door from his room and into the hallway. It was there he realized that there was a... Decoration pattern. The walls and floor were like that of ice with crimson red details such as curtains, doors, and carpets. Strange though, the wall weren't cold, so they couldn't be ice. Dry ice? No silly, that wouldn't work either. Dry ice burns. Perhaps crystal? Yes crystal. That had to be it...
"Or I could just be insane and this wall actually be padding... Nah, If I was insane, then I wouldn't know it. Would I?" Alex pondered to himself. He continued to ponder as he followed the red rug to wherever it led in this fantasy mansion. Finally, out of the bed and room, it was apparent what Alex was wearing. He wore a blue button up shirt with the buttons buttoned up about half-way, exposing the top half of the black tank top he was wearing. This of course exposed the silver necklace hanging from his neck, a rather unadorned silver cross handing from the lace. He was wearing regular old blue jeans, with maybe the bottoms of the pant's leg slightly tattered.
However, the most telling feature of Alexander Vega was his fiery bright blondish-red hair with extremely light brown, almost golden, eyes. One could almost venture to call him... Handsome.
Following the rug, he found his way to the dining hall and in the company of... Three ladies. "Jackpot. Maybe this won't be so bad," Alex said as he brightened up. He did like the ladies, that was a proven fact. Alex ran a hand through his hair and suavely sauntered down the table and took a seat directly across from the ladies. He sat with a rather... Handsome smile on his face, and nodded at the girls. "How are we this morning, Ladies?" He asked politely. The confident air broke momentarily as his smile dissipated and he asked, "Does anyone know how... Exactly got here?" These girls probably knew as much as he did, which was jack.
Alexander sighed, snatched a cup of coffee from a passing butler and took a drink. Delicious. Perhaps the best coffee he had ever tasted, and it was probably completely evident on his face. The fact that he shuddered a bit only further proved this. He then returned his attention to the ladies in front of him... Oh. "Oh! I'm sorry. My name is Alexander Vega... Please though. Alex. Saves time ya know?" he said, giving another one of his handsome smile, "So, what are your names?" He asked.
