Nature:

- Personality: In person, Etsumi tries to keep up the image of a tolerant, reasonable woman, always acting pleasant and calm when not in an aggressive situation. She does not go looking for fights, but will stop at nothing to ensure the destruction of the Shadows.
She strikes to make it clear that, if she must resort to extreme measures, she takes no perverse pleasure from it, but will not have any regrets if it was ultimately necessary to stop the Shadows.

Depending on who you to talk she can either be said to be a powerful and brilliant leader or, somewhat against her wishes, a fanatical tyrant-type.

- Likes: Peace, things going as planned, singing, Haruhiko Kobayashi.

- Dislikes: The Shadows, hopeless idealists, anyone who gets in her way, quitters, Haruhiko Kobayashi.

- Fears: Any more deaths caused by the Shadows.

- Goals: A permament end to the Shadows, or at least a temporary end to them if the latter is truly unachievable.

- Alignment: Somewhere between Lawful Neutral and Neutral Evil.

- Communication Skill: Demand Obedience - Etsumi has no time for delays or distractions. To those that stand in her way, you will either learn to comply with her or be destroyed.

Equipment

Etsumi keeps three powerful Personae on her at all times, Gabriel, Michael and Raphael, all of the Justice Arcana. It is known that none of them were her starting Persona.

As a multiple Persona-user initially chosen by Philemon, Etsumi is already quite a rarity amongst Luminescence. She summons her chosen Persona by card-crushing, ripping the Tarot in half with both hands.

History

Background:

- Birthday: 15th of July, 1988.

- Nationality: Japanese.

- History: As a young girl Etsumi was always and intelligent and studious pupil, even making Class Representative in her High School Years. Her dream job, though she rarely spoke of it with others for fear of embarassment, was to become a popular singer.

At the age of 16 she enrolled in a student exchange program to New Zealand, were she met up with and made friends with Haruhiko Kobayashi. However, while they were both there they and the other exchange students were all granted the power of Persona and ended up encountering the Shadows.
But their time together ended in a horrible tragedy, with Etsumi and Haruhiko emerging as the only survivors of a terrible disaster, so terrible that neither of them have ever spoken about it in public.

After graduation Etsumi finally achieved her dream and became a well-known songstress, but after that horrible incident her childhood dream had lost a lot of appeal for her, So, using her acting career as a cover and source of income, she and Haruhiko founded the organisation Luminescence to fight against the Shadows and ensure that a tragedy like before would never happen again. However Haruhiko later left, for reasons he and Etsumi again refuse to talk about.

- Residence: An apartment in Tokyo whenever she's not travelling around, and of course the Luminescence Headquarters.
