At first glance, one could say that Jonah is a rather juvenile individual. He's a bit of a bad sport, possessive over material things, quick to anger, naive, impressionable, clingy, stubborn for no apparent reason (even when he's in the wrong), somewhat self-centered, and he has a tendency to be a huge brat when things don't go the way he wants them to. So, in a nutshell, it's a little hard to believe that he's actually almost sixteen years of age. Well, he's a prime example of someone who has a hard time growing up. Now, saying that he's someone who will never grow up would seem kind of harsh. He is only a kid, after all. He's got time, and maturing is something he's not really focused on, and something that just didn't come naturally to him in the first place, even though it probably should have. Although he's not particularly well-learned in general, there is one topic that he prides himself on being an expert on, and that would be all things artsy. Jonah is an art maniac. He's almost never seen without his sketchbook, and always has a few utensils on hand in case he ever gets inspired. He's good at what he does, too. Adept in several mediums, art is probably the one and only positive thing that Jonah is good at, and boy does he know it. Start a conversation with this kid about art, and he'll take that baton and sprint with it. Not only does he act the part, but he believes it a necessity to "look the part" too. For that reason, he is pretty much always seen in a beret and rather old-fashioned clothing, and decided to grow out his hair and restrain it into two braids, which he also likes because they remind him of his weapon form. The things that bother Jonah are many in their numbers, but probably his biggest pet peeve (besides people "dissing" his art) is being told what to do, especially by people who aren't even adults, or who otherwise don't strike him as an authoritative figure. He loathes being treated like a child, even though he acts like one almost 24/7. Oftentimes, he'll grow belligerent and refuse to cooperate with anyone, which is a major downside of having Jonah as a colleague. Anyone who fancies themselves as able to handle a fifteen-year-old toddler will more than likely end up with more than they bargained for.

Bio:
Although he's a babyish person and basically has been his entire life, Jonah was never coddled or spoiled or anything of the like by his parents. Actually, they did this to prevent their son from becoming the childish thing he is to date. They have yet to resign themselves to the fact that their son is just naturally juvenile, and that he can only fix himself. Despite his parents' constant attempts to "man him up", Jonah remained caught up in his own little world, and refused to change. He did this mostly to spite his parents for bothering him so much, but it was also a subconscious act as well, something he would have a hard time actively changing. As a young child, in his years in elementary school, he was often labeled a troublemaker due to his natural aversion to cooperation. However, this was partially expected of him in his early years; he was a little kid back then. But as he and the people around him began to age, they began the process of growing up while he was still stuck in his childhood mentality. As such, he became somewhat of an outcast as he grew older, secluding himself in the company of his artwork and preferring it to that of his classmates and teachers. This didn't really help his self-centered mindset in the least bit. If anything, his solitude allowed it to fester and become a more permanent part of him. If no one wanted him around, then they'd get what they wanted! He convinced himself that he didn't really need people anyway, that they were all just stupid for not liking him, not accepting him, for driving him away because they thought they were better than him. A dream began to develop inside of his mind, a dream of showing up all those who'd disregarded him when he was younger. But how? And that is his main goal, his main reason for attending the DWMA: to become a Death Scythe, and show those who'd ignored and ridiculed him before just who will be laughing in the end.
