His boots were stolen from his father, Hermes. His gauntlet was stolen from Hades. His jerkin is made out of the skin of Nemean Lion, the pelt stolen from his pupil Heracles.
To blend in with Gardenia, Autolycus has dawned a black dress suit with a blue shirt and a Black tie. He keeps his hair slicked back in an slick executive style.
Personality - Autolycus is your typical dashing rogue. He has a smile that has melted the hearts of many fair maidens and will melt many more. He is wily and clever as they come, according to his auto-biography. Exceedingly self-confident and a world class smart-alec. His ego know no bounds but will not put other people down to inflate it. He loves to talk and he knows good things happen when he does. His is very charming and treats everyone he meets exactly the same.
Autolycus hates restrictions and rules and believes that everyone should be free and should enjoy their lives o the fullest. Though, he knows people will always follow rules to maintain their society from falling into chaos. That’s where he comes in. He likes to spread a little chaos wherever he goes. He believes everybody needs a little chaos now and then. Then there is of course, his obsession with thievery. His is of course fond of being rich and comfortable, but that is not the true reason he steals. He loves the thrill of it and he loves proving to the world that he can steal anything and that no one, not man or god, is safe from him.
He is truly doesn't care about the root of the conflict or why is here. "You don't look an unlocked door in the keyhole." as one of his many sayings go. He sees this entire situation at just another shot at glory. He sees the entire war as the perfect opportunity to show this new world just how great he is. And if he gets rich along the way, well, that's just how it goes. He feels that his faction of Plenoran is the same as the other. He would just as easily befriend members of his faction as the other. Even though he is on a team, he will always be out for #1, namely, himself. He would probably use the relationships he has forged to his own advantage. He really is the ultimate opportunist.
Even with all of his selfishness and cockiness, Autolycus really is a better person than he let's on. He really has a heart of gold, but he would never admit it.
Weapon(s) - He uses a sword and dagger combo:
Autolycus also uses a set of throwing daggers:
Fighting Style- Autolycus predominately relies on speed and surprise while fighting. He is not particularly strong but he is incredibly fast. He will never charge an opponent head on, but will flank them or try to get above or behind them. He will use anything to his advantage including his surroundings. Such as flowerpots or roof tiles or even clothes hanging out to dry. He will use anything to give himself an edge in combat.
He holds his blades backwards, using a slashing/cutting technique rather then stabbing. His is very proficient in hand to hand combat and much prefers close range combat. Though, he will retreat into shadows or some other hiding place after a few seconds of direct combat so he can score another surprise attack.
--Abilities--
Role 1: Sense pressence- Can feel the spiritual pressences of the other "pieces".
Role 2: Surpressed Spirit- Unable to be detected by others except the Queen.
Role 3: Far sight- To see with a good eye. Sometimes even the smallest details never escape them.
1)Mask of Night: Covering his face with his head garb allows him to be invisible in any form of darkness or moonlight. He can stand in a shadow and not be seen during the day and at night, he is invisible fully. That is until he makes physical contact with another person, then he is revealed and is much harder for him to disappear again. He can stay on this form the longest but it will eventually drain his soul energy.
2)Gauntlet of Souls: By activating his gauntlet, he is able to bring his body into the spirit state and phase through objects such as walls or blades. Though this is a very demanding process, leaving him scarred and weakened if in it too long. Usually only used in split second occasions. Can only be activated 5 times until next he sleeps.
3)Soul Split: Using his Gauntlets second ability, he can split his soul up into 13 pieces, each with their own body which is a remote copy of his own. They all have his skills and can move and think on their own yet also have a hive mind with each other. Last resort technique. He only uses this if he has no other option for it does horrible damage to himself, leaving him very weakened. Each hit his clones take is done on him when they merge back onto him, just not as bad. This depletes his soul energy and and can only use it once until he has recharged again, namely, slept.
4)Father’s Footsteps: Being the son of Hermes, Autolycus is incredibly fast, being able to run much faster than normal men and has beaten horses in races. Autolycus can also glide from place to place, not fly. His footsteps are completely silent and he can walk on any surface. These are the abilities he was born with along with the power given to him by his fathers boots.
History- Long ago in ancient Greece, Autolycus was a King. A king of thieves that is. It was a self-proclaimed title that was very appropriate for him. He did much in his life, he made many friends and enemies and stole from all of them. No where was too heavily guarded for him to get in. He was a master thief and skilled fighter. He taught Hercules how to wrestle and stole an artifact from every God and Daemon in the Greek pantheon and a few from the Norse and Egyptian. He lived a grand life and wished it would go on forever. Unfortunately, even being a Demigod, Autolycus was not immortal. He was eventually was caught in Persia by Hera’s enforcers and was decapitated in front of the Gods.
Oddly enough, the moment he felt the bite of the axe, he woke up in Gardenia. He thought he was in Elysium for a few moments, until he suddenly knew he wasn’t and that there was a battle to fought. He didn’t know how he knew this, he just did. Seeing this as a golden opportunity to continue on his legacy as the King of Thieves and a sort of pathway to immortality Autolycus is more than happy to be there.
