Personality: David is an enthusist in all that he does. He loves his job when he gets to do it. Most of the time he is busy trying to fight boredom.
Biography: David went straight from high school into the Umojan Naval Academy. Most of his classmates dreamed of flying fighters or commanding battlecruisers, while he just wanted to blow things up. He graduated in the middle of his class. When it came to decide on his job the A+ students had taken all the pilot slots. That was of no concern because fire controls officer was still open. Webb spent two years aboard different ships where he learned his job and actaully got to put his skills to the test against pirate raiders.
