Physical Description: 6'2t tall, old before his time with a wrinkled face and short grey hair. Nearly always in uniform. Despite his logical and calculated life he is nearly always seen with a cigarette in his mouth.

Personality: Alexander Daunt is a serious, rational man. He is soft-spoken but forces a hardass side during any serious combat engagements. He is capable of making sacrifices, though not without deep remorse he only brings out in private. Despite this, he values duty of reason and will go out of his way to protect his crew and civilians.

Biography: Alexander Daunt graduated from the Umojan Naval Academy as an ensign nearly last in his class. He was highly booksmart and was able to make intuitive moves very quickly, but his irrational will to not think before he acted led him to be viewed as too careless for any valuable vessel. The reason for this was not only because of his cocky attitude of not 'needing' to think, but because he never really thought he'd need to, as it would hurt no one. It wasn't until the careless actions of a fellow helmsman cost the lives of the entire crew of the ship was aboard led him to rethink his thinking process.

From then on, he become a cold, hardened, rational man, never taking action without thinking. Because of it, he was able to work his way up to ranks, and eventually became the commander of his pride and joy: The UPS Washington. This was not without a cost, for he began to lose touch with his emotional side. To compensate, and to prevent himself from ever being callous, he signed a code of honor that he agreed with himself he'd follow. Occasionally, his emotions boil within him so heavily that he completely loses control and tends to wreck whatever room he's in. Because of his rapid concern for logic and his career, he never was able to become intimate with anyone during his tenure in life. As the last of his family passed away, he became truly alone.
