Location: Orbiting the planet Umoja, Capital of the Umojan Protectorate

For a ship of the peaceful Umojans, the Washington has seen a fair share of combat. She's fought from everything from skirmishes with pirates to full scale border wars with the Confederacy, Dominion, and Morians. During the Great War, when the Umojans became puppets of the newly found Dominion, she saw a great deal of combat with the Zerg. Scorch marks still mark the hull of this mighty vessel, and the interior corridors are riddled with bullet hulls from long-ago enemy boarding actions. They remain there not only because the economy of Umoja doesn't allow petty repairs like that to be taken care of, but as a testament to her shaken history.
Like a typical Behemoth class, the Washington is armed with eight laser batteries on its hammerhead for destroying smaller classes of vessels and ground targets. This leaves the ship vulnerable to fighter attacks on its engines and certain blind spots. These weapons are all capable of firing subcutaneously and are controlled by a single bridge officer.
For point-defense compensation, the Umojans have tacked on a number of point-defense high-powered projectile turrets on a number of spots on her hull. Each has a built-in advanced tracking system capable of taking out fighters as well as missiles travelling at supersonic speeds. These are each operated by individual gunners.
Though the Umojans have a great distate for nuclear warfare since the Korhal incident, the Washington still retains her nuclear missile compliment for taking out ground targets. Her primary weapon in space is the Yamotto cannon, which is capable of taking down many vessels in one shot. The drawback to this is the massive cooldown time of nearly thirty seconds. Like her laser cannons, this weapon is also controlled by an operator on the bridge.
Like most Terran vessels, the only defensive capabilities of the vessel is limited to the above mentioned point-defense turrets and thick hull armor. Her sub-systems include hyperdrive, gravity generators, and a nuclear fusion generator.
Her luxuries include a bar, captain's quarters, laboratory, decent crew quarters, ext.

If anyone on the Washington knew Andreas was hacking into the communication lines on the ship, they didn't show any signs that they cared. The cargo bay the Washington possesed was open, but Andreas had found a corner that was both out of the way, and not looked over by SecCams. Andreas had been running from the Dominion for a while, and he had picked up a few tricks, like how to hack into a secure network without being noticed. The message he had seen was between the captain of the Washington and the Umojan Admiral. The transmission was interesting, but as it was from a secure line, he could not record it without a Ship Crew ID. As Andreas was a stowaway, he had to resort to an age-old but effective method: Paper and pen. He was out of paper, so he wrote the contents of the transmission on the back of his notepad. Then he got onto the mattress his contact on the Washington had given him, and dozed off.
