Appearance
Beautiful, the same as any other vampire. He's 5'11" in height. He's got dark hair that he cuts to keep up with whatever the average trend is for an older college student. He would say the same about clothes, but he still has yet to wear a v-neck shirt or skater-style shoes with neon laces. No. He's adjusted to jeans, but still prefers either boots or plain old black sneakers, as well as long sleeved button-up shirts. occasionally you can catch him in a plain tee shirt and hoodie, if he needs to go out somewhere during the day and it's sunny. The more skin covered up in that case, the better.
He's got red-to-black eyes, the result of feeding on human blood.

Personality
A bit of a know-it-all. He often comes across with an "I'm better than you" vibe, because that's honestly how he feels. After being alive for two centuries, he's had lots of time for school and for a while that was all he dedicated himself to. Furthering his education and learning all sorts of skills. Weaponry, acrobatics, etc. He became an excellent fighter this way. He's very book-smart, but now that he's staying in a house with a modern vampire and her daughter, he may find himself needing some common sense. He puts on a friendly front, but heavily criticizes everyone he meets. It's nothing personal, that's just how he is. He'll judge you on how you dress and how you shake hands, and believe he has a full assessment of you right then and there. He still hasn't learned that that's not the case. He's certainly not a scaredy cat, but stays away from danger. He feeds on the weak humans, and avoids the enemy species all together. Later on when he finds that this family has more to do with the werewolves than any of them believe, he'll find he has to choose between himself and staying loyal to the people he's dedicated his time to. After being so self-centered for so long, it may be a harder decision than it should be.

History
Born on October 24th, 1792. As said above, he spent a lot of this time educating himself in whatever he could find at Columbia University, Dartmouth College, and Yale University. His supernatural gift, retrocognition, was a giant help in this. He's always been interested in history, but when he was turned into a vampire he gained the ability to know the history of a place. All he needs to do is step onto property lines to know its extensive history; from how it was built and how long it took, to the events that happened whilst having residency, to its demolition. It's something that interests him deeply. Unfortunately, he cannot know a person's or things history unless he can touch the person of object.

Let's return to his history, shall we? He was born to a family with two parents and one younger sister. Growing up their family was rather perfect, the ideal church-going American family. However, Jeremiah strayed from the church. He began seeking darker faiths, a belief in the son of the morning. It was through this belief that he met others like him, only one of them was different. The man had renamed himself to Sol, or sun. As Jeremiah became a closer member of the occult, Sol offered him something unimaginable: Eternal life on earth.
Jeremiah was young. Only 22, in the process of becoming a hard working man. Could he believe in such an offer? An offer where he could surpass any mortal man, and see what the world has to offer centuries from now? Because of his age, he was still naive. He took the offer, not knowing that for the rest of his life he would have to seek blood to live. He had learned that the hard way, after terrorizing his town for a solid year. However, he kept one member of the town alive. Mercy.

His younger sister, Mercy. She was young at the time, only sixteen years old. Jeremiah turned her. However, unlike Jeremiah, Mercy was disgusted with the creature she became. She deserted him, fled for Asia. That's all he knew about her after her change. To this day he doesn't know if she remained in Asia or returned to America, and he doesn't know if she has a supernatural ability or not. He's tried to find her over the past decade, but Mercy has stayed well-hidden. He's multilingual just in case he ever meets her again; as of now he knows English, Chinese, and Japanese.
