Sixth Academy Grounds

Rue's bags fell to the ground with a thud, falling from her suddenly numb fingers as she took in the sight of Sixth Academy. Out in the middle of this odd forest on this odd island, it was far from any kind of school she'd ever seen. Her gape only reflected her utter shock. Some patches of grass were burnt, others missing completely. Trees were thrown over with their roots hanging in the air, dry and thirsty. A light dust was floating above the ground as if too afraid to join with it once more. Here and there she saw glints of movement, eyes squinting out at her, scowls of distaste.

Being forced to come to the Academy was one thing. Being forced to come to the Academy and discovering its true identity was another. The blonde's delicate golden gaze turned back to their escort. He was gone. There is no way back now, she realized with an inward sob. They've brought us to a cemetary and locked us inside without our consent. The ever growing hollow feeling in her chest suddenly felt swollen and throbbing. She would rather be at home with her father than be here - that was saying a lot.

"Drew," she whispered between quivering pale lips, "I think we've come face to face with Hell.."

Alexander panted as he walked along the street stinking as close to the shade as possible. Yet another year in Sixth Academy and his parents still refuse to drive him to the entrance of the school. "Walking builds character, son." His father told him before they left. He frowned knowing the real reason why they won't drive him. It didn't mind him, aside from the fact that he can't go under the sun for too long. Unlike his parents it won't kill him but it will just the same. He looked down the road and smirked seeing that he was nearing the entrance of the building. He could see a figure not too far from where he was, it seemed to be talking to someone who was cut from his view.

A gust of wind kissed his face, it carried the most most heavenly scent that has ever reached his nose. He dropped his bag and brought his finers to his nose, he couldn't afford getting addicted to new smells. He leaned back on the nearest tree to stare at the figure. With a small figure and long blond hair the female looked 'tempting'. He shook his head to get a hold of himself. "School first." He hissed to himself as he ducked out of his hiding place.

The black backpack that he had dropped somehow ended up a few feet away from the shade. Looking away, his already blistered hand reached out into the sunlight. He swore quietly as he grabbed the bag's strap and dragged it back into the shade and hoisted his back over his shoulder as he shook the pain off trying hard not to wince.

He continued his way to the school until he stood next to the female. He turned his head to her and took steady deep breaths taking in her scent each time. After a a minute of taking in her smell he continued to walk. He opened the main entrance and held it open looking back at the female gesturing for her and her other company to enter first.

Manami sat on her bed and looked outside her dorm window. She finished unpacking everything and was now incredibly bored. She saw two students enter the building, a guy and a girl. The guy she recognized from her past years at Sixth Academy. The girl however was new and so was the boy who followed behind her.

Manami sighed and moved a lock of her blue hair behind her ear. Maybe she'd go for a swim. If she was lucky, Ryuichi would be there. She smiled at the thought of him. The blue-haired nymph jumped out of the bed and ran out the room. She kept a small smirk on her face as she made her way to the school's pool.

Drew laughed and playfully punched Rues arm softly," Don't worry big brother is here." Drew shook his head and slid his hands into his pants pockets, The people where scowling at them and whispering to one another,Yeah this should be really welcoming....

Drew looked over at his sister who was turning pale and looked rather scared at the moment he looked into her eyes and smiled,"The people may not seem very welcoming but you'll make friends in no time, trust me."

He always felt a need to protect his sister and just wanted her to be happy, he looked at the school and sighed,It seems a little bad but we'll make the best of it....

Li Feng was doing what he usually did these days, wandering the halls of the Academy with no direction or purpose. Ever since he had been dragged off to this school, he'd been down in the dumps. To Li, this place was so.....boring. So incredibly boring, he thought that he might die from it. This was an exaggeration of course, but he still bored all the same. He looked out of the windows as he wandered the halls, marveling at the absence of color outside. It was as if nothing existed here, even though there was plenty of people. Li frowned sadly, shuffling his feet as he walked along.
I wonder how Rue is doing. I tried to write her, but they took my letter away... Li whined rather uncharacteristically. He sighed. I can't keep thinking like this. I've got to look on the bright side of things. Let's see. Well, they let me keep my clothes...that's a good thing. Oh, and my rubber ball, but I had to hide that. Hmm, what else....well, there's Rue and Drew....... Li was passing in front of the front doors as he saw Rue and her twin on the other side. Li's head perked up much like it would if he had dog ears as he recognised them. Rue and Drew?!?
"Rue! Drew! Aw, you guys, I missed you sooo much!" Li was nearly crying with happiness as he ran up to them. He tackled them both, wrapping them in a giant hug. After a moment, he pullled away. "How did you guys get here? Those guys didn't hurt you did they? They can be rough you know. They were with me, anyway." Li laughed. "But then again, I fought them the entire way!"

Rue cast a glance at Drew and attempted a smile - it was a futile attempt, but an attempt at that. She felt cold, as if someone's gaze was on her. Only when she turned back towards the school grounds did she realize that someone was infact watching her. The young man stepped beside her momentarily, turned his head to her, returned his attention forward, and continued onwards. Her skin felt numb, her hands cold. What was up with him? The way he had regarded her was almost... hungry.

She moved to follow after him but suddenly arms were around her and she let out a startled gasp. "W-what?" she squeeked, squirming. Only when Li Feng pulled back did she relax, features brightening. "Li, I thought I'd never see you again!" she whined, eyes looking pained. "They didn't hurt us, no... But they didn't exactly give us a choice to leave..." Rue ran a shakey hand through her hair. "Anyways, let's get inside the school." There was a moment where she was tempted to add or what's left of it, but the temptation died as she pressed forward after the mysterious redhaired young man.
