Soo, I was thinking we can start up the "academy" part of the rp, but wait for the actual school part until we get teachers. What do you think? :]

Alyss sat in a chair. Much was going on around her and she was pretty much ignoring everything around her. "It's my first year here and I'm a third year student." She muttered to herself and observed the other kids. Two had went over to a girl huddled in the corner. Alyss was trying to avoid as much attention as possible. Though for some reason she could stop staring at a girl in a red kimono.
Ayame:
Ayame was standing juggling a few knives she kept hidden in her sleeves. "This school is pretty interesting." She said to herself and studied some kids in the room. Her eyes met with a girl with startling blue eyes. Alyss looked away when she noticed Ayame noticed her. She walked toward the Alyss and tapped her on the shoulder. "I think we might enjoy school this year." She gave the Alyss a grin.

She lowered her eyes from the boy's, and managed to stutter out a "H-h-hello." That wasn't so bad. she thought, but really she wanted to crawl under the food covered table a few feet away from her. She glanced at the girl who was right behind the boy, and wondered if they were twins, but of course she didn't ask. If they weren't it would be terribly awkward. She glanced back down, not wanting them to think she was staring.

She wondered if she should say something to start a conversation, after that's what starting a conversation is- you have to speak first, and in her case you have to speak period. She bit her lower lip again, and opened her mouth. She thought twice about, and closed it. She felt like a fish out of water. She opened her mouth again determined to make friends. "Um- so. I-is this your first y-year?"

Asai sighed at his sister’s inner panic, seeing every thought that ricocheted within the walls clearly in her frenzied eyes. She was doing so well too..."Haha, yeah actually~ I guess it's pretty obvious huh?" Asai falsely chuckled, bringing a hand up to his face to hide the slight frown that had been slowly etched in. He really did hate having to deny his sister social interaction, but given the pace at which she was going about answering, they would only manage to alienate a potential friend. He’d just have to take the guilt that came with it for her sake. "What about you?" Truth be told, Asai actually was a bit curious, the girl didn't look old per say, but definitely older than both of them. Yet her actions were a bit, err, awkward to say the least. Like what was expected of any new student.
Her nails digging into the palms of her hand, Azami decided it best she pipe in then, "Y-yeah...a-are you a s-second year?" That was pathetic... Azami internally cried, her outside appearance close to tears as well.

Absently, the Honon picked at his tie, unused to semi-formal wear. During class, and any time he was on school grounds, he was technically supposed to wear professional clothes… but unless parents or government officials were visiting he wore a t-shirt and jeans – unless he was clubbing or partying of course. He grinned to himself, remembering last Friday at the Seven Young Kids bar and club. It was open to those under eighteen Tuesdays, Saturdays, and every other Friday, but most of the time it was adult only.
With a slight shake of his head he pulled his mind away from last Friday’s party to the present.

Kohana looked at the girl called Azami, and wondered if she was as socially challenged as herself- or maybe she just didn't like her. She frowned slightly as the latter one. The two seemed like polar opposites, but she couldn't excatly read them. It wasn't as if she had so much time to practice. She felt herself relax just a bit as she interacted with these two students. It was nice being able to talk to kids, her age or at least around it.
"U-um, I couldn't tell- really." she said wondering if they were offended. "I was just trying to think of something to say." she said in a whisper. She brushed some strands of hair that had fallen out of her hair. "I'm in my second year, but this is my first year at the school." she smiled softly, "S-so I guess it's my first year as well."
Kane: Pied Piper
Kane strolled into the meeting room with his hands in his pocket, and took a look around the room. He saw some familiar faces from last year, and smile. This was going to be a great year. He did not like school persay, but he loved making new friends, and seeing old ones. He grabbed a plate of food, filling the plate up it to the top, and sat down in a chair. He started leaned the chair back, and began eating his food.

Kane had stuffed his face with so much food, but he still felt hungry. He glanced around the room, and saw the bunny boy- er he meant his new roommate Kyo. He had looked at his packet earlier, and recognized the name. He remembered him from last year, but he had never spoken to him. He walked over to Kyo, and smiled his big smile "Hey Kyo!" he picked up a food item from his plate, "Wanna a carrot?" he asked jokingly.

Asai was quick to jump in where his sister trailed off, "The packet's are supposed to have all the information we need while here; our dorm room, class, and I think a map of the school. I'm pretty sure there was someone we were supposed to go to...or there was a table" Maybe he should have paid a bit better attention during the earlier meeting...

His sister's hand was outstretched weakly, one lone finger pointing towards something low to the ground and heavily obscured by a crowd of people. Unsure of what it was she was pointing at, he ducked down to the short girl’s level, eyes still glued to the spot. At that level he could just barely make out an ebony colored table, standing at no more than two feet in height and covered with a pile of packets. Of course it was going to be the shortest thing in the room...and most crowded. Releasing a slight sigh, Asai turned to Kohana, motioning with his head and hand towards the area. He was not looking forward to trying to find anything in that mess.

“I’m Mr. Honon. It is a pleasure to officially meet you, Miss Sora.” He reached to take her hand, but changed the action into rubbing his nose when she pulled away. “Do you know where your room is Miss Sora? Or would you like an escort?”

trying to get through the crowd so she could get to the refreshment table but it wasn't working out so well she had been pushed to the floor a few time in the process and then managaed to get out and found herself at a table full of other kids.

The only problem was the pure expansiveness of the halls mixed horribly with his horrible sense of direction. Part of him swore he'd gone round the same hallway corner at least three times already...With a frustrated sigh, the boy slid slowly down the cold walls of the academy, a hand running swiftly through his hair. If only I had a map… Asai mentally assessed, his eyes closed in thought.
The poke of paper on his leg made him quickly recall seeing exactly that in his package. With a quick flick of his wrist, he took out the small map, eyeing its contents for a hint where he was. He spotted a large garden in the upper corner of the map, he vaguely recalled passing earlier that was by his dorm. So with the best back tracking he could muster, he made his way over to the area, relief washing over him when he spotted the room he was looking for.
He hurriedly opened his way into the room, stopping halfway through the door frame when he noticed a, by the looks of it, older boy asleep in one of the chairs. Shrugging it off, he grabbed his nap sack from the center of the room, placing it lightly on one of the top bunks of the room. He climbed up soon after, savoring the feel of the comfortable bedding beneath him.

(Sorry if I didn't ask to be your roommate. Is it okay if I am?")
Ai saw her friend disappear into her room and decided she best find hers. "Okay Room 002." She walked past twelve more doors and found the room. She walked inside and found that her roommate wasn't here yet. "I guess I might as well look around." She said to herself.

The room she was in had been crowded, but it seemed that slowly the other students had been filtering out singularly or in small groups. Most of them seemed socially awkward to the point of being pathetic, or apathetic and uncaring. After a moment of thought she figured she would suit the shy crowd better. Wouldn’t a young girl who’d just lost everything be scared of new people?
She fingered the opening of her packet before she thoughtfully drew out the papers. A map, class schedule, room number, list of activities they could do on campus, when food was served, official stuff. She wrinkled her nose slightly at the thought of having to change her schedule but resigned herself to it.
A last glance at the map and she was walking off, stuffing her papers back without looking. She was stationed in room 003, and the way it was worded, she’d likely be rooming with at least one other person. That was going to be draining, keeping her bubbly Sanna personality out and not reverting to Tora at all.
The place wasn’t that hard to navigate, though she missed the greetings of her extended family as she walked. They were in jail, all of them, even her mother. She slowed when she reached the correct hallway and stopped altogether when she reached her door. Gently, she placed her hand on it and took a deep breath. She would be living as Sanna for four years, it would be hard and she would have to constantly remind herself not to slip up. She took another deep breath and smiled. It was a fortunate thing she was such a damn good actor.

She must seem like a total airhead, Arashi knew it, and Mr. Honon would tell her to quit being like that... Probably. Arashi grinned, because back home, her smile comuld fix any problem.
