Bio: Before the game started, Ren wasn't your average gamer. In fact, he wasn't a gamer. He was the top Iaido champion in the city of Ikebukuro. Born to a Korean mother and a Japanese father, this boy became a real life swordsman, before he broke his arm in a tournament. These were the times he tried to improve, but to no avail. When he heard of a new sword game that everyone was talking about, he instantly came to recognize that this was his chance for redemption. In the game, his arm wouldn't be broken, so it would train his mindset. Mistake. He was trapped in the game, and never really got to meet the game's hero until the end, where he would have died from a grave wound before Kirito killed Heathcliff. At the moment he died, he was carried back to the game, with an entirely new form.

Weapon: As seen in the pictures, it is a one hander sword, due to its weight. It is a very light an versatile sword that has a jagged side and a very sharp tip. It is meant for cleaving and slicing, but not for stabbing. Of course, almost everyone in the game has a sword skill, and Ren's is special. It has to do with his long, mechanical claw, and the odd device on his belt. When Ren slips the device onto the sword, it has an electrical reaction with his claw. His sword will heat up, and he can have an extremely powerful offense.

Armor: Since Ren has very powerful weapons, his armor is not as durable. In fact, most of his chest is unguarded, and he has no protection on his face. The places that are armored are his arms, hands, feet, and legs.


Extra Skill: Hell's Claw
-By exerting an extremely high amount of pressure, Ren's claw can reach maximum power capacity, which makes it heat up until it is on fire. This is not blockable by any weapon obtained lower than on level 10, and it is hard to block with many powerful weapons. Since the arm is made of non-flammable materials, it cannot be burned in any way, so it can keep burning until Ren gets tired or he runs out of strength to use. This can be countered by a form of water, and enough to stop an insatiable inferno. When the first SAO started, Ren's hair was pure black, and he started with a regular mechanical arm.
