He has a sleeve-less jerkin underneath his armor that is not visible while wearing armor. He also has a pair of bracers on each wrist. He has tall black leather boots with dark green trousers with leather padding underneath. He has brown hair and green eyes.

Brief Personality Overview: Xander can usually come off as a smart alec who believes most people are below his intellectual level. But there is a part of him that just can not see someone suffer. it is also killing his mercenary career because he offers to some jobs for free if the cause is right. It's gotten him into a lot of trouble but he believes it's worth it.

Scars or Defining Features: He has three particularly nasty scars on his left scalp descending slant ways, the middle one coming just to his eye.

Brief Background: Xander was an orphan. Having no memory of who he was or who his parents were, he wandered aimlessly through the forest. He was only three and was traumatized by an event he didn't even remember happening. The woods were dark and there was foul things in the air. Normal children would be scared, but this young boy continued to stumble through in an almost zombie like fashion. Soon, creatures descended down around him, they were of dark fur and sharp claws. When they blocked his path, the boy stopped and huddled into the feeble position. The creatures charged him, but the boy cried out and the creatures thrown back, slamming against trees and rocks, the rest ran away. A magical barrier was around the boy, but it slowly faded. A hermit had seen the whole thing and carried the boy back to his tent.

That boy was Xander. The boy was raised by a Drow hermit named Xathrian Sevillan. He was a powerful sorcerer who had been banished from his tribe long ago for deeds he did not speak of. He named the boy after his son who had fallen in battle. He trained Xander in the ways of the Battle Mage and taught him everything he knew. He also taught the boy in the ways of the world. Of philosophy and history and manners. Xander absorbed the lessons quickly, able to retain knowledge of vast quantities rather easily. He predominately taught him in the skills of staff fighting, and being raised in the Darkwood Forest, there were always plenty of training partners. When Xander was 18, he returned to the small hut his master and him shared, to find his master killed. A note left on his body. On it, was only a depiction of a Black Rose. With nothing left to do, he grabbed his masters staff and rods and departed into the world of Albion.

After spending a few years in the land of Albion, Xander couldn't hold a job. He was often fired from his various caravan guard jobs for running off to save another caravan. He couldn't hold down a job for his conscience kept getting in the way. It was then he heard of a respectable company called Sword-for-Hire. He felt it was best if he joined it, feeling that his magical abilities would make him stand above the other applicants. He is ever determined to prove himself. He prefers to go on solo-missions but he knows he will be paired with someone due to his magical abilities.
