Job
Soldier to the Rebellion, until death or weakness take him.

47

Appearance Description
Talbot is physically the stereotypical knight, neither tall- he stands at 5 foot 10 inches- nor overly muscular, he is in fact a middle sized and middle bodied man of action. Despite his age he never quite managed to ever grow a proper beard and so kept himself clean shaven for most of his life. Despite only just reaching middle age he has already started to have a heavily greying hairline, giving his short cropped brown hair twin streaks of grey across his skull.
Armor/Clothing
Though cast out in disgrace, Talbot was allowed to keep a hold of only a few items to live with. One of these was his suit of armour, albeit one that was old and long since in need of repair. As such he prefers to not use this armour unless absolutely necessary, as the reduction in speed for such a poor suit of armour will most likely end in his own demise. When not wearing this armour he prefers to wear a simple leather jerkin and hunters trousers to go with them, this clothing option was designed for his ease of movement in the wilds. One major piece of armour is a black iron gauntlet attached to his left arm, which he never removes.
Skills
First and foremost amongst any skills that a knight posses is that of duelling, though he is far from an expert in hand to hand combat he is of course able to hold his own, this skill passes on to both archery at a range as well as jousting, however he is unable to fire a bow with his gauntlet, and he does not posses either lance nor horse to practice his decaying skills. Another more personal skill he possess is that of storytelling, which he has slowly gained over time, these are the true stories of his lifetime or the folk legends that he has learned over time.
Phobias / Fears
To die with his honour tainted and his soul corrupted.
He greatly fears thunderstorms, to hear thunder and not see the lightning is to bring on him a sense of great and unbreakable dread, which he will sink deeper and deeper into as a slow depression takes hold
Bad Habits / Vices
Pacing, Talbot picked up this habit from prolonged times on the watch with nothing to watch over, as such his mind and feet would end up wondering.
Clenching his jaw, a habit that has been with him since childhood, when annoyed, which is often or contemplating a difficult thought trail he will often clench and unclench his jaw, much to the dismay of his teeth.
Best Qualities
Loyalty- Despite having this tested and broken in the past, he has learned greatly from his mistakes, and shall never break his word once given.
Mercy- Talbot will always give a second chance, as well as allowing a beaten foe to flee, even though it may harm him later.
Modesty- Talbot takes no credit, large or small for any deeds that he has performed, even when others insist.
Worst Qualities
Dark moods- Talbot is prone to falling into foul or depressing moods at random times, such that nobody can predict how his mood will be, nor how we will respond to others.
Self-loathing- Talbot is filled with hatred for himself and for his past deeds, to the extent of going out of his way to ensuring he is always challenged whenever possible.
Untrusting- Particularly of good deals, which he will almost always turn down.

Goals
Talbot has two main goals left in life; to restore the throne to a more rightful and true ruler, so that tyranny will no longer be allowed to flourish. The second is to atone for the sins of his own past, which have torn from him all chances of a normal life.
History
Sir Talbot was for a long time an unimportant knight, for which he never gave much thought. Until one foul day when he was tempted from a life of modesty to a life of power. An action he regrets ever since. The exact details of these events are a closely guarded secret he has shared with nobody, for he feels there is nobody he could tell whilst some scrap of his honour remains. All that is known is that his family, who were largely all military men, as well as certain members of the watch of which he was a member of, were slain seemingly by his own hand. It was judged that death would not be a fitting punishment for such a heinous act, but rather to be banished, never to return and left in the wilds with just his memories would be most befitting him. And so it was that he was cast from all but title, sword and armour, into the wilds. He roamed for many years, until he eventually came across the Rebellion, who slowly accepted him into their ranks, for nothing but the strange gauntlet that was placed on his left arm. This gauntlet that had appeared the night he committed his dark act, granted him whenever he so desired, great strength in his arm, as well as to cover the metal in crimson lightning. Some say however, that since he join the Rebellion, and he was using these gifts a great deal more of the time that the iron has actually grown further along his arm, now reaching to the elbow where it once was at his forearm.
