HAIR / EYES
Ebony Black / Silvery Blue

HEIGHT / WEIGHT
178 Centimeters / 62 Kilograms

BODY TYPE
Pale Skin / Thin Build

GENERAL APPEARANCE

Hideo is most easily described as 'handsome but off-putting'. He is attractive, with his height and almost doll-like features, yet he puts off an arrogant vibe that tends to push people away, not that he really minds. Hide is tall, standing at a height of 178 centimeters (5'10") and maintains a weight of around 58 kilograms (127 lbs). He is slender in build and is very thin, though not so thin as to be considered underweight. XX
Hide is very agile and quick on his feet, having full control over his body at all times. His reflexes are sharp and cat-like and he can be very fast when he wants to be. Hide does not have much in the manner of brute strength, but he is clever and knows how to shift his weight so as to use it to his advantage in a fight. Hideo's hair is dark ebony black in color and is rarely styled, often resembling bedhead. His eyes are silver-blue. XX
Hideo's skin is very pale due to his adamant avoidance of the hot sun and he has very few visible scars, the largest of that few being a burn mark on the left of his chest. He gained the mark after attempting - in vain - to erase a tattoo he had gotten with Hajime. He keeps the half-burned tattoo covered up whenever he can, rarely letting it show. XX
Hide dislikes anything other than the blue uniform-esque outfit he wears into battle. He wears other clothes for sleeping & sparring, as never leaves home without his artifact. XX

Arrogant Insensitive Antisocial Overprotective Clever

Image

The first thing that one will notice about Hideo's personality is the simple fact that he always seems to dislike talking to others. He prefers to be by himself than to be with other people, as he is afraid of hurting those he comes to care for. Hide can be very insensitive when it comes to a topic someone dislikes talking about, and will needlessly trample over said subject until the person refuses to speak to him anymore. XX
Hideo isn't necessarily selfish though - in fact, he all but hates himself - but he still refuses to allow himself to get close to anyone, even the other Divos/Divas. Because of this reluctance toward friendship, Hideo often appears to be self-centered and arrogant. Arrogance isn't too far off. He puts an unhealthy amount of faith in himself and his abilities whenever he is in a fight and will often be injured due to this habit. XX
Despite not wanting to make any friends, if one of the other fighters is in danger - for example, if an enemy were sneaking up behind them - Hide would not hesitate to protect them, no matter what the cost might be. He likes the positive feeling that comes from protecting someone else, even if he refuses to let himself admit that fact. All in all, Hide's entire personality is always contradicting itself, changing day to day. XX
Hideo is extremely intelligent (except when it comes to planning) and is a master of making quick decisions in the heat of battle. When fighting, he spends a good minute or two watching how his opponent attacks, memorizing patterns and using them to his advantage. He is very clever and is good at lying, and can be extremely convincing. XX

LIKES

Battle | Hideo loves the adrenaline that comes with fighting, and loves the blood. ◇ Music | If he didn't love music, then he wouldn't be a part of this story, would he? ◇ The Violin | Even though the violin is often associated with calm , mellow people. ◇ Coffee | Hide likes the bitter taste, and he often needs it when he gets little sleep. ◇ Attractive People | There isn't much to explain, really. He likes beautiful people. XX

DISLIKES

Boredom | Hide greatly dislikes not having anything to keep him busy & moving. ◇ Sweets | For some reason, anything sugary sweet just puts him off his appetite. ◇ Complete Silence | He can't concentrate at all without some kind of white noise. ◇ Rules | Hideo prefers to do his own thing rather than follow someone else's rule. ◇ Hot Weather | He hates getting sweaty and will avoid hot weather like the plague. XX

HOBBIES / HABITS

Singing | Whenever he's alone, Hide will sing whatever songs come to his mind. ◇ Whittling | Hide's home is filled with hundreds of tiny animals, carved from wood. ◇ Chewing | When nervous or bored, Hide will chew on his nails, skin, or his lips. XX

STRENGTHS

Hand-to-Hand | Hide is a pro at hand-to-hand combat, useful without a weapon. ◇ Swordplay | His artifact is a gigantic sword, so it makes sense to be skilled at it. ◇ Voice Range | Surprisingly, for a male, he can hit close to any note, high or low. XX

WEAKNESSES

Planning | He's the kind of guy who charges in and figures it out along the way. ◇ Teamwork | He doesn't work or fight well with others, under any circumstances. ◇ Lonely | Despite his antisocial tendencies, Hideo is actually quite a lonely person. XX

FEARS / PHOBIAS

Losing Others | Hide lost the only person he truly cared for, and it was his fault. ◇ Loving Others | He refuses to grow close to anyone else in fear of losing them. XX

Hideo's artifact is known as 'Aoi Hi no Ha' or 'Blade of Blue Fire'. It is a sword that was supposedly created by the first King of Rapsodia, and was created as a relic to show the advancements of the country. According to legend, it was never actually used in battle, and was instead kept locked away in a glass case hung above the throne for thousands of years, until the castle was burned down and the relic (supposedly) lost. XX
Queen Ardelia said that the artifact had been found when she was a child, buried in the dirt beneath her own castle that had apparently been built atop the ruins of the old one. She gave it to him after he became one of the Divos, and with it, she gave him the name Drei, as he was the third to arrive. Since then, it has been his sole companion. XX
-

Hideo's activation song is completely unlike the upbeat, fast-paced music he listens to, harboring depressing undertones and a calm theme that makes it seem almost like a pre-suicide poem rather than an actual song, which isn't too far from the truth, really. The song was written by Hajime when they were first starting out as musicians, and was the song they played at their concert the night Hideo died. He chose this song as his activation song simply because its his reminder of what he did, and of his friend. XX
-

'Aoi Hi no Ha' or Aoi, as Hideo calls it, in its dormant state takes the form of a silver ring with a royal blue sapphire-like stone embedded in the metal. When activated, it spirals up his finger and into his palm, transforming into either a long silver sword or six small throwing knives. Hideo is skilled at using both of these and is unsurprisingly a master in the use of his artifact. He can use other weapons, but not nearly as well. XX
Of course, all power has its drawbacks. Because of his thin frame and lack of brute strength, Hide is susceptible to being overpowered by his opponents. His sword is also fragile when it comes to being hit dead-on by another weapon, and will return to its ring form if hit hard enough. His weapon cannot retain its form if his voice wavers. XX

HISTORY

Hideo was born in the busy city of Tokyo, Japan to a wealthy couple who had gotten pregnant on accident and had only given birth to him because abortions were widely known as an 'act of murder' at the time. His parents were rarely around during his childhood, instead leaving him in the care of many different housemaids and servants. XX
Hideo was taught from a very young age that he was better than others due to wealth an status, and that he would always be more important than others people. And, since it was the only thing he'd been taught, he grew up believing this fact. He was taught by wealthy tutors and scholars instead of attending school and advanced quickly, fast to learn and fast to improve. His teachers all considered him a genius - and also a brat. XX
By the time Hideo was about thirteen, he was far ahead of most other teenagers his age and decided that his tutors no longer had anything more to teach him, especially in the matters of 'life and love', so he enrolled himself in a public Junior High school near his home. Surprisingly enough (or not, really) no one at his new school came to like Hide. They all ignored him, except for one tiny boy from his class named Sato Hajime. XX
Hajime quickly became Hideo's best friend, and since Hide could count the number of times he'd met his parents on one hand, Hajime also became the only person he truly cared about. They spent every moment of their free time together, exploring the city and playing pranks on people they didn't know. They were little brats, to say the least. XX
Their music career officially began in their third year of Junior High, when they finally grew tired of playing dumb pranks and went searching for something fun to do when they were bored. Their homeroom teacher suggested finding a club to join, and since they didn't want to hang out with anyone else, they ended up creating their own club: the Music Club. None of their peers joined simply because they were club members. XX
From then on, Hideo and Hajime put all their efforts into learning how to play different instruments and how to sing without making their throats hurt. The two placed second in the school talent show and won first place in two of their area's music competitions, quickly gaining fame from students of different schools, despite the fact they were still Junior High schoolers. Hideo's parents said nothing about his new accomplishments. XX
Hideo and Hajime's fame only grew as they moved through Senior High, and it was during this time that they began to move apart. Hideo had his growth spurt, easily becoming the main target of female students all around, and placed high above his classmates in every test that came his way. He could hit any note and could learn to play any instrument in under a week. He was a prodigy, and Hajime was definitely not. XX
Hajime was small, awkward, and struggled in school. He was constantly bullied - even when Hideo stood up for him - and easily became self conscious about his and Hide's vast differences. When Hide noticed, he did his best to reassure and comfort Hajime. XX
Their first fight took place only a week after graduation. It was late at night, after they'd had their first official concert. Hideo had unintentionally stolen the spotlight during their performance after noticing that Hajime's voice had broken due to too much practice. When Hajime confronted him, Hide argued that if he hadn't taken over, their first concert might have been ruined. As was expected, Hajime was hurt by this statement. XX
Hide had regretted his words immediately after saying them, but before he could apologize, Hajime had stormed off, announcing his retirement from their band and telling Hide to never talk to him again. It was an overreaction, to say the least, but Hide took it to heart, and decided that without his only friend, there was no need for him to live. And so, he threw himself from the concert hall's roof, dying a couple minutes later. XX
When Hideo awoke next, he found himself standing in front of a beautiful black flower, the area around him shrouded in darkness but somehow still light enough to see. "Do you want to continue singing?" It was such an ominous question, and although he hardly wanted to sing without his best friend by his side, he accepted the offer, and became one of Queen Ardelia's Divos, as well as the wielder of the 'Blade of Blue Fire'. Rapsodía - a vast magical kingdom existed in a foreign world, is known by no inhabitant of our own world. For thousands of years, the kingdom has thrived and prospered under the sovereignty of its' many wise and just generations of rulers. It had gained the utmost of harmony and tranquility between humans and nature. Truly a utopia where anyone could dream to live in. It may very well remain like that for eternity to come, if not for the existence of its' bloodthirsty destructors...

They are called as the Thoryvós. No citizen of Rapsodía know where they originated from, or how they have existed. All that were known about them are that they are vicious creatures that came from all shapes and sizes, they cannot be harmed by normal means of weapons, their behaviors are unpredictable, their population is immeasurable. These monsters have claimed precious lands from humans and created their own territories. They have maimed and killed countless of lives, leaving humanity hopeless against them. Is there any hope for humankind, or will they have to accept their demise?

It was here that a mysterious black flower came into this world. It had guided the rulers of Rapsodía to search and find the artifacts - relics holding magnificent power that had existed even before existence itself and taught humans how to wield them in combat through means of songs and intonation. And thanks for its' help, human had effectively warded themselves against the sinister Thoryvós, slowly advancing against them, and reclaimed what they have lost. The battle between the two races would went on like that for centuries. The black flower was nowhere to be seen again, but Rapsodíans will not let its' contribution to be forgotten, and made the black flower the proud emblem of their kingdom.

Image

After the Divas and Divos accepted the offer of the black flower, they were transported into random places throughout the kingdom. Of course, it would be natural for them to feel shocked and surprised in this new world. They wandered from whence they stood, gaining questioning and strange looks from the people. But eventually, they were found by the soldiers of the ruler of this world - Queen Ardelia. They took them to her palace, situated right in the center of the kingdom, where she welcomed them with open arms, explained them of their new duties and granted them sanctuary right in her castle.

It has been a year since then. They have spent their times mastering their artifacts, getting accustomed to the world of Rapsodía and its' people and fighting against the Thoryvós, though apparently, many questions still troubling them. They have successfully defended the people from any prominent threat caused by those monstrosities. Even though the citizens look at them with disdain at first because of their differences, they are now revered as heroes, being respected by almost everyone, both nobles and peasants alike. But some had grow envious of what they have achieved. Which is why, they have to be cautious with those around them as well.

And so we begin our story. As of now, the Divas and Divos are staying as residents of the Queen's palace. Life was much different in comparison with their old world, but it was comfortable, to say the least. In a way, they also seemed to get on well with each other and stayed ever loyal to Queen Ardelia. Some news about an outbreak of Thoryvós had just reached them, and before they could pose much of a threat for the people, the Queen is about to send them on another mission of their lives again.

Unlike any sane person, Ren and Hide had hardly reacted at all to suddenly being in a medieval-esque world full of magic and destructive monsters, and for two very different reasons: Ren was more than happy to arrive there, after where he'd come from, and couldn't really care less about the details of the situation, while Hideo was simply so dumbfounded by it all that he decided 'fuck it' and took it all in stride. XX
Now, twelve months later, the two sat together one of the castle's many gardens - Ren high up in a tree, and Hide on the grass below said tree. Hide was attempting to not get pissed off at the novel 'Alice in Wonderland', and he wasn't succeeding, simply because the story made no sense whatsoever. You've gotta wonder if Lewis Carroll was on drugs when he wrote this nonsense. Its all completely idiotic, really. XX
Meanwhile, up at the top of the tree, Ren was balancing precariously on a branch with his back against the trunk of the tree, drawing a raven's nest in his sketchbook. The nest itself was sitting five feet in front of him on the branch, the mother raven shielding her three eggs from harm. Ren stayed as still as he could, humming to the bird quietly as he sketched her long wings and the leaves surrounding her. XXX
The two boys said nothing to one another, both absorbed in their own pastimes, until a maid approached them, out of breath. Hide looked up at her expectantly, eyebrows raised. "Lord Drei, Queen Ardelia has requested your presence in her study. And my Lord, do you by any chance know where I can find Lord Eins?" Snapping his book shut with a loud clap, Hide let out a sigh and pointed straight above him, where Ren came crashing down from the branches only seconds later. XX
"Ah, I see." After repeating the message to Ren, the maid hurried off into the castle, and the two gathered up their things before walking off toward the Queen's study. They arrived twenty minutes later - after getting lost three times along the way. XXXX
Surprisingly enough, they were not the last people to arrive, as instead the only other person already there was Kohaku. Hide groaned inwardly and turned away from the male, leaning against the wall across from him and pulling out his book as a distraction. He unconsciously chewed on his lower lip and grimaced when he tasted blood. It was a habit he really needed to fix, but didn't quite know how to. XXX
Ren bid a short hello to Kohaku when they arrived, waving for a second before crouching down by the tall glass windows and watching as a groundskeeper cut back some vines that were slowly creeping up the side of the building. They looked nice there on the wall. Ren thought, frowning slightly as the groundskeeper tore them off, tossing them into a pile at the bottom of the ladder he was standing on. XX
It wasn't long before the Divas began to arrive. Ren hopped over to Emma the moment he saw her and bid her a cheerful good morning, then proceeding to show her the drawing he'd been working on. Hide observed over the top of his book as the three girls joined the group, but said nothing. Once everyone was there, the six all moved together into Queen Ardelia's study, knowing what she was about to ask. XX

It was once again a beautiful morning in the castle and as Aria stared out at the tremendous view from the castle she couldn't help but let out a few cheerful notes filling the air with song. Aria stifled a yawn, it was still early and the tired girl glanced back at her bed contemplating more sleep. But alas she thought it too beautiful a morning to waste and so decided that an early morning stroll in the garden would be a pleasant enough way to spend the morning.

She quickly got dressed and exited her room. She knew the way to the garden or at least that's what she thought before she got lost in the twists and turns of the large palace. Yet Aria didn't mind. How could she? To her the castle was just as beautiful as the garden and a stroll through its halls were just as pleasant. In fact as she walked around with a smile and eagerly greeted the workers she realized it was even more beautiful. Never did she think she'd end up living in a castle. It was almost like a dream. One she very much wished was real. After all it was possibly the biggest improvement over living on the street. Back in her world she never really had a home and to go from nothing to such a large castle was such a welcome shock to her she almost completely forgot about the monsters and the fighting.

As she wandered and eventually saw a maid calmly walking towards her. With an elegant curtsy and a firm nod the maid spoke. "Hello their Lady Zwei. The queen requests your presence along with the others."

Aria simply gave the maid a nod and a smile. "Sure thing I'll head right down!" She turned to leave but then turned back to speak to the maid. " "And please you don't have to curtsy next time and you can just call me Zwei if you'd like. I have more in common with peasantry than the nobility anyway so I won't mind!" Once again she turned to leave but then paused when she realized she had no idea where she was going. She gave the maid a distressed look. The maid gave Aria some quick directions and she soon went on her way.

When she had arrived at the queens study she was surprised to find that the three divos had already assembled, though she was the first diva to arrive. She approached them eagerly giving each of her comrades a polite wave. "Vier! Good morning!" She gave the divo a small smile. As far as she knew Vier was the only divo that somewhat liked her. He wasn't the most talkative person she'd ever met but there was something of a welcome air surrounding him. Hideo didn't really seem to like anyone and Ren? Well she was certain Ren found her annoying. The boy was never rude to Aria but there were subtle things that made the girl think that Ren wanted nothing to do with her. She had tried to make friends with those two, there was nothing she wanted more than to be on good terms with her comrades. She wanted to be friends but even a year fighting alongside one another didn't seem to soften them up. And so she had decided not to say much to them until the other divas had arrived.

▬▬▬ WEISS FALK
Dialogue ● #6699AA / Thought ● #99AAAA

      ......Image
Image
After getting past the initial shock of — what was technically evading death despite having "died" in another world — the following events had happened much to quickly for Weiss to stop and think about what was actually happening. Perhaps the reality of the situation hasn't truly hit her yet, but that certaintly wasn't something to be worrying about now.

As baffling as the existence of the world was, saying that it was beautiful was the understatement of the century. Soon after Queen Ardelia had allowed them to stay in her castle, and although it was just as magnificent as the rest of the world, Weiss had much preferred to spend her time outside and among the people of Rapsodia.

The earliest signs of morning were just starting to show its way through the window, and she watched as the sun slowly rose itself above the horizon. Though she was up and awake long before then, wondering the quiet halls of the castle and mapping them out in her mind but still being sure not to stray too far from where her room was. Now she was simply passing the time cooped up in her room, quietly singing to herself and occasionally taking a glance at the book she's "reading".

After some time had passed since the sun had risen, Weiss heard a soft knock on her door and a maid entered her room. "Lady Sechs, I've come to inform you that the Queen has requested you and the other Divas and Divos to meet in her study." Weiss put on the same soft smile she always wore before informing the maid that she'll make her way there and dismissed her.

And while she took all the time in the world to get out of her room like there wasn't anything important to do, she did in fact make her way towards the study. She didn't have much trouble navigating the winding halls of the castle, though it'd be nearly impossible for anyone not to get turned around a few times here and there.

When she arrived she had seen that Eins, Zwei, Drei and Vier were already there and gave a slight bow to all of them in greeting. It was known to all of them exactly what Queen Ardelia was going to ask as soon as they entered that study, they simply had to wait for Fünf.

Rousing from a queen sized bed made her back imitate a tuning fork. It was a familiar chill that Emma woke up to, it'd been with her for months. Even if it'd been the sun's sweet summer kisses that rose her up, compared to the pent up shoebox she'd shared with her sister, those two stories between Emma and the ceiling always made her feel so cold.

Not feeling hungry or having a training scheduled, Emma decided to stretch her legs by once more getting lost her overwhelming new residence. The best comparison for walking through the castle corridors at any time Emma could come up with, was walking through the subway at night. She stretched her arms wide, but couldn't touch either wall. Her new home was spacious, in a way her sister had often described her dream house as, but because of that it hardly felt like home. Emma imagined her sister chastising her, for not appreciating the luxury she had been granted on a (often times literal) silver platter, as her cheeks would puff up like a frog's. As Emma conjured a quick smile and greeting when she passed by a maid, she could only frisk over the words to describe to Claire how out of place the palace and servants felt.

Emma's thoughts and stroll were cut short by a voice calling out for her. “Lady Fünf, excuse me, lady Fünf.” A second servant approached Emma, pacing his steps like a a secretary's wpm on an old-fashioned typewriter. Emma could tell from the look of his face he'd been looking for her a while now.

“My apologies, lady Fünf. The queen has sent for you, she requires your presence at the study post-haste.” The servant's stocky breath between sentences betrayed to Emma she was going to be late. Although Emma did not know what she had ever done to make the man so nervous, she caught the shivers from the suspense playing underneath the man's brow.

“O-of course, I'll be right there.” Emma hurried to reply. What was going on, she wondered, that caused this man his stress.

“I'll inform the queen. If you'll excuse me.” The servant responded, already in the starting blocks to speed-walk ahead of her.

“Oh, no, no!” Emma protested. “I'll go there myself right away.” She assured the man quickly, resisting the urge to touch his shoulder (as that she'd been told was improper conduct for her status) and instead quickly conjured a modest smile. “Thank you, please take a moment to breathe.”

“Of course, lady Fünf, please forgive me.” The servant turned to make a stiff bow.

“There's nothing to forgive.” Emma assured the man once more. She wished she could use different words, but truth was that being more familiar only made it more difficult for the staff to interact with her. The best thing she could do for him was hurry to the study.

Upon arrival, she was immediately greeted by Ren, chipper as ever. “Good morning, Ren.” Emma greeted, the boy's enthusiasm hardly ever failed to bring a smile to her face. She barely got to squeeze in a “Good morning, everyone.” Before Ren pushed his latest work in her hands.

“Oh, this looks different.” Emma mentioned with delight as she glanced at Ren's painting. “Did you try something new?” Then quickly rushed in a question for the group before Ren's passion for his art would take over.

“Do you guys know what are we being called here for so early?”

Kohaku stood and waited quietly, with his arms crossed. It is obvious that this is going to be another mission to stop a prominent threat caused by an army of Thoryvós or two before they could do much harm to the people living in the surrounding. But where would we be sent to this time? He secretly wondered. Rapsodía is so vast that it has all sorts of terrains and areas one could possibly think of. They have climbed mountain, walked through freezing snow fields, tried to stand still against raging sandstorms in deserts, and much more. What seemed to be intriguing is the fact that different types of lands will have different kinds of Thoryvós. It's pretty much like those role-playing games Kohaku used to play back in the old world, if he was to make a comparison.

More often than not, some maids or servants would be passing by, giving him curtsy or bowing, as he just nodded to them. He had never been in such a well-respected position like this before, as everyone he once knew before looked at him with nothing but scornful eyes. He doesn't really know whether he should feel privileged or uncomfortable. But after all, it's not something that they don't deserve. They have gone through great perils for the sake of this world and its' people, despite their being at odds with them at first due to their differences.

His colleagues soon arrive one by one afterward. First were Ren and Hideo, two people who are his countrymen back on Earth. When Ren greeted him, he smiled lightly and nodded to the boy in return. But as for Hideo, the guy just turned his face away the moment they lock their gaze. Perhaps he just doesn't like him, for reasons he couldn't think of. But they didn't have any conflict with each other and would work well together when the situation calls for it, so Kohaku thinks it's best to just leave things like that, for now.

The next one was Aria, the cheerful and energetic girl. He nodded and smiled to her as she greeted him, "Good morning, Zwei." Out of everyone else, it seems she was the one to be fond of him the most. Of course, Kohaku could never hope to be as optimistic like her, but at least, treated her the same way. Weiss and Emma arrived soon afterward and they, well, just like usual. Weiss was calm and collected and kept to herself, while Emma and Ren got along well. It seemed that they made up quite an unique team, but the sad fact seems to be that aside from whenever engaging in combat, they aren't that close when it comes to anything else.

When Emma asked them if they know why were they called so early in the morning, Kohaku calmly replied, "I believe it would just like usual, so just get your artifact ready." Then, he straightened himself up and walked up to the huge door, "Everyone is here now, let's see what our Queen got to intrigue us." He knocked on the door, and when the person inside had allowed them to walk in, he opened the door wide as he walked in first.

Standing with her back turned as she watched the scenery outside of the huge window behind her working desk, Queen Ardelia still seems to exude an elegant and mysterious, yet powerful aura, as usual. Bowed respectfully to her, Kohaku spoke up, "We Divas and Divos have all arrived. You have called for us, Your Majesty?"

"As a matter of fact, yes." The Queen turned her back and faced them with a smile, "It has been a year since you all came to this world, I believe you all have a lot to say?"

"It was... shocking at first, if I had to be honest. But I think I've pretty much gotten used to how this world work. It is an honor to be under your service, Your Majesty." Kohaku respectfully said. She nodded and listened to everyone else when they talked about their experience.

"You all have very interesting points of view, I believe. And I can say that it is also a blessing for me to have wonderful lieutenants like you under my command." Ardelia expressed her opinion before sat down at her desk, "Now, let us back to the main point of this meeting. One of my messengers from a city to the West of the kingdom, called Iremía, had reported of an ancient cave situated within a forest in the outskirt of the city. The strange part about it is that the entrance to the cave, which had been sealed for a very long time, had been opened for some unknown reasons. People said that they saw unearthly creatures roaming in that cave."

The Queen paused for a moment to let her information sink in, before continuing, "There is a high chance this cave is a potential Thoryvós' hideout. If this is the case, then the lives of the people are in danger. That is why, I want you to travel to Iremía to investigate this cave, eliminate any monsters in sight, and reported back to me of what you have found. I have told Adelheid to go and select some of my most elite soldiers to aid you on your journey. Please go and prepare anything you may need and be ready to leave by midday. As always, I place my trust in the six of you. I wish you the best of luck and may you all return in one piece."

"As you wish, Your Majesty." Kohaku bowed to the Queen.

Hideo truly couldn't have been more annoyed by the fact that Thoryvos existed. XXX
He'd ruined his life, died, been granted a new life in a world of magic where literally everything was perfect, only to be given the oh-so-important duty of protecting an entire country of people by destroying creepy magical creatures that apparently had nothing better to do than kill people and take time out of everyone's schedule. XX
Of course, Hide was annoyed by Thoryvos - especially when they got in the way of something he was already doing - but it wouldn't have been an overstatement to say that he enjoyed fighting them. Each battle was a bigger thrill than the one before, and to everyone else in Rapsodia, he was nothing less than a public hero. XX
So whenever Queen Ardelia called her six Knights in shining armor, Hideo couldn't help but feel excited for what was to come: which was exactly how he felt right now. XX
As they all filed into the Queen's study, Hide straightened his posture and tucked his book under his arm, saying nothing and doing his best not to look like an ass. Kohaku, ever the leaderly type, inquired as to why she had called them - even though they all knew why - and he listened as she went around the group, asking them all what it was they had to say concerning the matter of their new lives here. XX
Hideo tried to tune out everyone else's answers, as he really couldn't have cared less, though he instinctively lisened in as Kohaku answered. "It was...shocking at first, if I had to be honest. But I think I've pretty much gotten used to how this world works. It is an honor to be under your service, Your Majesty." How noble of him. XXX
When it was Hideo's turn to speak, he did so with an almost friendly tone he only used when speaking to Queen Ardelia. "I have found no reason to dislike living here, Your Majesty. That is my only opinion." And so the cycle continued, though Hide wasn't really listening. Queen Ardelia expressed her gratitude for having them as her Liutenants, and then went on to explain the latest Thoryvos sighting. XX
"You'd think these creatures would have something better to do with their short lives than romp around killing people and annoying the Queen." Hideo scoffed, stuffing his hands into his pockets as the group exited the study. "I mean, its not like I'm unwilling to fight them, I'd just much rather spend my morning reading instead of dealing with gross behemoths that don't even have ample brain cells." XX

When Queen Ardelia asked what their opinions were on living in Rapsodia, all Ren could think of to say was: "I'm just glad I'm no longer where I was back then." And it was true, Ren didn't care where he was as long as it wasn't back in that institution. XX
He hopped out of the study with a signature grin, and turned to listen to Hide when he spoke. "You'd think these Thoryvos creatures would have something better to do with their lives than romp around killing people and annoying the Queen." Ren frowned. "You shouldn't speak of it so lightly, Fuji. The Thoryvos are killing Queen Ardelia's subjects, I think its more than a simple annoyance to her. Its a tragedy." XX
Hideo frowned at him, and Ren frowned harder in return, the two glaring at each other for a moment before turning back to the task at hand. "So, we're heading to Iremia then? One of the maids told me that City has very pretty scenery and lots of indigenous herbs that are good for medical uses~" He said, grinning widely. XX
Ren carried the conversation for a few minutes longer before the group dispersed, everyone heading to their respective rooms to pack. Even after being together for a full year, the six Divas and Divos had yet to become great friends, at least not as a group. Ren was disappointed, though content to spend his time annoying Hideo and amusing Emma. It wasn't like they truly needed to get along with each other. XX
The next half hour was spent packing for the trip to Iremia. There wasn't much to pack - extra clothes, medical supplies, food rations - but it always seemed to take a long time to get get everything together. Ren himself made sure to pack extra food, since always managed to get hungry while traveling, as well as his sketchbook and pencils. He'd mastered the art of drawing while riding a horse during the past year. XX
After packing, Ren set off in search of Emma, coming across Hideo while on his way and promptly dragging the annoyed male along on his search for his friend. When he found Emma, Ren quickly struck up a conversation as she packed, while Hide slowly inched away from the two, obviously hoping they wouldn't notice him. XX

Emma was taken a little aback. Why would the queen ask this question now of all times? Kohaku was probably right, it was going to be just another mission, wasn't it?

Of course, Kohaku had taken to the air of the world as if it was second nature. The way he spoke, similar to the way Weiss carried herself, made it seem like they were born in Rapsodia. Hideo and Ren provided quite the contrast, simply by how blunt they were. It was almost defiant, in a way that often reminded Emma of her siblings. She modestly hid a smile behind her hand.

“I'm most grateful your Grace has taken us in.” Emma said when her turn came. The daintily bow she made towards the Queen came far easier to Emma than speaking to the servants. “I owe your Grace and Aria my life.” She said, breaking eye contact a split second to nod towards the blonde diva, before she stepped back to let the next person speak.

As soon as the briefing had finished, the divos and divas were sent to pack. Before she'd even gotten halfway, Ren had already invited himself to Emma's room. As the boy opened his chatterbox, Emma noticed Ren had taken Hideo in tow, as the taller divo seemed to prefer to engage in a staring contest with the wall.

“I can't believe you've packed already. Are you sure you haven't forgotten anything?” Emma asked Ren. It wouldn't be the first time his enthusiasm had gotten the better of him, even if actual forgetting wasn't in his dictionary. “You too, Hideo,” Emma tried to include the second divo in the conversation. She often caught herself referring to him as Drei instead, like the servants did. Surely he hadn't as well adapted as Kohaku, but there was this air of aristocracy around him that could have fooled her as a tangible barrier. “It's going to be quite the trip, you know?”

Emma opened her closet, which was about as tall as her queen-sized bed. Despite being only hers, the wardrobe she'd been spoiled with was enough for clothe two families. “I'll need to dress for the forest.” Emma mentioned as she buried her face between the garments the maids had arranged for her. Very little was fit for riding a horse, let alone making it through a forest unscathed.

“I'll need to paint my face to go with this.” Emma chuckled as she presented the boys with a pair of puffy trousers that looked like pantalettes. The bloomer look was custom for the travelling woman of high birth, but to Emma it looked like clown wear. “I'm kind of jealous of you two. It'd be so much easier to just wear pants.”

Soon after she had arrived, Emma had followed suite and seeing every Diva and Divo was present Kohaku lead the way into Queen Ardelia's study. They all were asked on what they thought of the world of the Rapsodia so far, and after the others had finished speaking, Weiss had added in her own two cents. "Though it took some time to grow accustomed to a world that was so vastly different compared to what was the world we previously lived in, I have to personally say that it's been wonderful so far, despite the ever present existence of the Thoryvós."

It was after ever one has spoken that they were all told exactly what most of them were thinking. There were Thoryvós in some far off city that needed to be exterminated, that was all the explanation needed to get Weiss to deem it worth going there. The monsters were not of any particular annoyance to her and there was no thrill that came with fighting them as there was always a steep price for her to pay to even be able to do so. She simply did because it was expected of her.

After the Queen was done giving them all the information, they all went to their individual rooms to pack for the trip to Iremia - or most of them did anyways. The mission would require clothes more suited for fighting, and although the clothes she chose still did fit that necessity they also stayed true to her taste in rather lavish clothing. Though they did look nice, Weiss had almost completely foregone the clothes that the maids had prepared for her.

They weren't exactly the most sensible choices if one was going to be fighting, nevermind the trek through the forest or riding horseback. Besides clothes, Weiss had packed numerous other things that would eventually make themselves useful when the time came. By the time she was completely finished packing, around half an hour had passed. The only thing she needed was her artifact, which was being stored in the drawer of a nightstand next to her bed. While it would be wiser to keep the silver ring on her person at all times, even while inside the castle, Weiss truly couldn't bear wearing it for such a long time. It wouldn't be so far off to say that she held some form of disdain for her artifact.

After slipping the silver ring onto her finger, Weiss had decided to wait in her room until the others were ready to leave and came to get her, as opposed to going off and finding them herself.

After the meeting with the Queen, everyone retreated back to their rooms in order to get everything they needed prepared for the upcoming journey to Iremía, a city lying to the West of the kingdom. Iremía, huh? That's going to be quite a long trip from here. Kohaku thought as he pondered over their designated place where their mission will take place. He had taken a look at a couple of maps showing the whole kingdoms before. On a whole, Rapsodía might be as big as the Europe continent back on Earth, and Iremía situates near the West polar. It's going to take at least 3 days to get there if they travel by horse.

When Kohaku is back to his room, he took the map he kept on the bookshelf of his room and studied the route there carefully. After being skimming through what they have to passed to get there, he then proceeded to prepare this things. It's a habit of him to be meticulous in everything that he does, after all. Just like any other mission in the past year, Kohaku is always the one to prepare everything and be readied for any problem that could possibly turn up. There's no guarantee if they could run into a group of bandits, or an army of Thoryvós on their way. Things would have been a lot easier if there is something like airship in this world or something. He sheepishly thought

Most of the clothes he had were specifically made by the tailors working in the castle. He's not comfortable wearing tradition clothes in Rapsodía for nobles, because they're simply too flashy for his taste. So, he had the them making his clothes strictly based on the style of the uniform he wears when he comes to this world. That's also what Kohaku wears whenever they engaged in combat. Of course, they have no defensive means to them whatsoever, but it's a lot easier to move and to dodge than being slowed down by some heavy armors that the soldiers wear.

After finishing with the clothes, he proceeded with other things, like some special remedies he learned to make from the herbalists in the castle, and maps. Everything else they needed probably had been sorted by the convoy who accompany them to the specific city. "Okay, everything's ready." He said to himself after all the packing up is done. Then, he held Yasakani no Magatama in his hand. The artifact has been his closest companion ever since he become a Divo. Putting it on his wrist, Kohaku begins to sing.

"終わらない雨の中で抱きしめて

貴方が答えを隠しているのなら

変わらない声でどうか囁いて

壊れた心をせめて包んで."

As soon as his song began, silver linings appeared and wrapped around his arm, slowly materializing a long, broad sword. With it, hundreds of Thoryvós had fallen before him. It had also saved his and the others' lives countless of times. Please, lend me your strength once again. He prayed quietly.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the floor. When he stops singing, the sword also disappeared. "You may come in." He said to whoever was standing outside. And it turned out to be another familiar face. "Your singing voice is as beautiful as always, Lord Vier." Walked in was a young, red-haired man wearing the uniform of the Imperial Army.

"I appreciate your compliment, Sir Wilbert." Kohaku picked up the suitcase which he had put all of his stuffs in, then turned to look at the Head Commander, "But please, refrain from telling another man like me that he's 'beautiful'. I don't want to make an enemy out of every lady of this kingdom."

"Oh, how you jest. That just makes you more charismatic." Wilbert said almost in a flirtatious manner. Kohaku let out a sigh. Aside from the Queen, Wilbert is another person from this world whom he can place his trust in. It was thanks to him that he had gotten to know about this world a lot easier. In a way, he can considered him a friend. But he really wish that he would seize with all the flirting whenever Kohaku is around.

"So, you are one of those 'elites' that Her Majesty ordered to accompany us?" Kohaku asked.

"It's my pleasure, Lord Vier." Wilbert replied with a dramatic bow, "Now, I think it's time we set off. It's going to be a long journey to get to Iremía. Shall we go and see if everyone is ready?"

And so, Kohaku carried his luggage as both him and Wilbert made their way to Weiss' room first, since her room was the closest to his. Knocking on the door, he asked politely, "Sechs-san, it's me. Have you finished packing?"

Emma was just starting to pack her things when Ren dragged Hideo to her room, leaving his things in a neat pile outside the door. "Hey-o!" He said, grinning his usual cheeky grin and waving to Emma as he flopped over into a chair sitting by her bed. "I can't believe you've packed already. Are you sure you haven't forgotten anything? It's going to be quite the trip, you know?" "Oh, I just never really unpack." XX
"I keep my things packed so I don't have to do it when we're all hurrying to leave~" It wasn't a lie. Ren liked being prepared, and hated the idea of being late to a fight because he still had to pack up his underwear. He hummed quietly to himself, watching Emma buried herself in the over-abundance of clothing she had tucked away in her wardrobe. Ren had just as much, but he always wore the same things. XX
"I'll need to dress for the forest." "True. The maids told me that Iremia is in the middle of a forest, and that there are lots of really good medical herbs around. I bet we could find tons of cool stuff there, when we're not kicking monster ass, I mean~" Ren giggled at that, turning the chair around so he could lean his chin on the front of it as he watched his friend. "I wonder what I would look like wearing a dress..." XXX
"You'd look like an idiot, and everyone's respect for you would disappear instantly." Hideo said, smirking. Ren turned around to stick his tongue out at his friend before Hide left, presumably to go ready his horse or whatever. "He's such a jerk. Though he isn't one all the time, so its not that bad, I suppose." "I'll need to paint my face to go with this." Emma showed him puffy trousers that reminded him of a Ghibli film. XX
"Oh, that would look cool! I've never seen you with face paint on before." Ren and Emma both agreed the trousers looked absolutely ridiculous. "I'm kind of jealous of you two. It'd be so much easier to just wear pants." "So why don't you? I'm sure none of us would mind, after all, a lady wearing pants isn't really that weird. Maybe you'd be the first person to start the trend in Rapsodia!" He said, entirely sincere. XX
Ren continued to watch Emma pack her things, giving her advice when asked and grinning whenever she presented him with something. Emma was his friend, and he enjoyed her company. "When we get back, I really do wanna try on that dress." XX

Hideo did his best to ignore the conversation between Ren and Emma, but gave up on trying to be civil when Ren inquired about wearing a dress. "You'd look like an idiot, and everyone's respect for you would disappear instantly." Ren glared at him, which Hide smirked back at before leaving, closing the door behind him and heading down the hall toward the rooms closest by, which happened to be Weiss'. XX
Hide didn't necessarily like Weiss, but he didn't dislike her either, and he would be lying if he said her presence wasn't much more pleasant than Ren's. Unfortunately, Weiss' room was in close proximity to Kohaku's, which meant it was very likely that the brunette was with her. Hooray... Hideo went over everything he had with him, mentally double-checking, even though it had all been packed long beforehand. XX
When he passed Kohaku's room, Hide lingered for the slightest of seconds in front of the tall door, staring at the delicately patterned wood with an expression that definitely wasn't disdain. With a melodramatic groan, he carried on towards Weiss' room, visibly tensing when he saw who was waiting outside. And for once, it wasn't because of Kohaku - it was because of Wilbert, and Hideo's intense hatred of him. XX
"So you're coming too, Yatsu? I bet you'll be of so much use to us, Commander." Hideo said sarcastically, glaring at Wilbert and making it ever so obvious how much he disliked the soldier, even if only Kohaku knew what the undertones of his statement. That was one thing that benefited from learning another language, speaking in your native one meant that only certain people could hear your insults. XX
"Anyways, I'll be waiting outside for all you slowpokes, try not to take too long." With an annoyed wave of his hand, Hide pushed his glasses higher up on his nose and brushed past, sharing a one-second expressionless glance with Kohaku before he disappeared around the corner. If only this were a perfect world, then maybe we'd all get along...probably not. He sighed again as he pushed open the castle doors. XX
Outside, the few other soldiers that would be coming were readying their horses and luggage, shouting to each other at an annoying volume. Hideo moved past them and toward the stables, where his horse was situated among everyone else's. His own was a beautiful black mare named Hana. She reminded him of the black flower, and had been named as such. Having a horse as a friend is good enough. XX

NOTE: the term/word Yatsu is a Japanese insult meaning 'disliked person'. I used it for Wilbert because Hideo hates that guy, for reasons??

It was true their every need was seen to at the castle... Emma thought, as Ren explained his packing habit, it didn't matter if a lot of his things never left his bags. “These dresses shouldn't stay packed for very long,” Emma made conversation, “They get all wrinkly when they're stuffed.”

Though Hideo's exchange with Ren was hardly out of the ordinary, Emma couldn't help but feel he had been waiting for a chance to split, which Hideo had found in a witty exit remark. “It would look kind of silly, but I'll pick something out for you when we're back.” She prompted, though her expression betrayed a lingering concern for Ren's friend. Even as they joked around, the thought echoed in her mind as Emma packed.

“Aria has been wearing them,” Emma said, when Ren brought up the suggestion of pants. “She let me try a pair once... But when the maids saw it, they made me change out of it right away!” Emma recalled. Her friend was so much braver than her, Emma thought, the way people sometimes looked at Aria's fashion choice scared Emma. Wearing pants in Rapsodia was the same as wearing one of the puffy dresses in her closet back at home.

“Oh, but if you're looking for a dress,” Emma started, as she finished up her packing, “ I think mine are too small for you. We should ask Aria. She's almost as tall as you.” Emma took Ren by the hand, pulling him along down the hall towards Aria's room.

“Aria!” Emma called out as she knocked on the door. She'd already conjured a smile again to flash at Ren. “Ren here has a question for you!”

Weiss spent little time actually waiting, as soon there was the sound of someone knocking and the sound of a familiar voice at her door. "Sechs-san, it's me. Have you finished packing?" With that, Weiss grabbed her luggage and made her way towards the door. Upon opening it she saw both Kohaku and Wilbert waiting there for her.

She didn't know very much of Wilbert besides the fact that he was the Commander of the Imperial Army. She gave a slight bow to both him and Kohaku, and caught a brief glimpse of Hideo leaving before he disappeared around the corner.

"Yes, I've finished packing. We should probably start gathering up the others as well." Despite having much in common with Kohaku, they haven't really spent much time together outside of battles over the past year. The same could be said for her relationship with the other Divas and Divos, and it was probably due to her own tendency to keep to herself. Although it had been something she had wanted to change, in truth she didn't exactly know how she would go about doing that.

Best not to dwell on it, there are other pressing matters that need to be taken care of. She glanced slightly at her artifact to make sure that she still had it before looking back up at Kohaku. "Let's go going, shall we?" and with that being said Weiss started heading in the direction of the other's rooms. She had a very loose idea of where everything in the castle was, and though she occasionally had to stop to make sure that she truly was going the correct way, she hadn't gotten hopelessly lost in all of the twists and turns of the castle.

While Kohaku is waiting for Weiss to collect her belongings and walk out from her room, he just stood idly with his back leaned against the wall and his arms crossed, and chatting with Wilbert about some trivial matters that are going on around Rapsodia. It's always a good thing to kept yourself informed of what is going on in the world. Two of the suitcases that he brought along are full of stuffs and Wilbert had asked to carry them for him, though Kohaku just kindly declined, as he wasn't that weak to not capable of handling his own things. Though he must admit, the Head Commander really lives up to his reputation as a gentleman, if it wasn't for his flirtatious antics, that is.

"So, the artifact simulation project has been making good progress under the supervision of Her Majesty, huh? When do you think it will be put under experimentation?" Kohaku asked.

"We still have a long way to go. Of course, even if we are success, our results can never match a real artifact or fully capable of what an artifact can do, but it will surely bring forward a great advantage for us humankind in the endless war." Wilbert replied with a smile while brushed his hand through Kohaku's hair, "I too, am looking forward to fighting alongside you one day, Lord Vier."

"And I you, Sir Wilbert. At least it's good to hear that we are actually getting somewhere in all of this bloodshed. After all, what matters most is the peace for the people." Kohaku calmly said.

A couple of months ago, after the Divas and Divos accomplished a Thoryvós exterminating mission in an ancient temple to the South, they found out that it was also a storage full of texts and tools which had never be found before. The Queen had sent archaeologists to excavate the site and had retrieved precious materials, which unveiled to them many answers to the mysteries of the artifacts. One of them is the technique to replicate their capability of destroying the monsters.

Queen Ardelia has started a project named Antigrafís where she is currently in the process of deciphering the texts along with her scholars. But everything is still in theoretic phase. They are making progress, but it will still be a long way before it can become reality. This project still remains as a secret for the rest of the kingdom, saves the six of them and some other high-ranked members of the Royal Council, which included Wilbert. But as of now, Kohaku didn't think that his colleagues are interested in it much.

While they are chatting, Hideo walked past them. As usual, Kohaku just pretended that the guy wasn't there, especially now, since he doesn't want to weigh his mind with his personal matters. When Hideo threw the insults at Wilbert, the Head Commander, however, didn't flinch and just smiled while bowing slightly, "It would be unforgivable of me if I were to get in the way of you Divas and Divos, Lord Drei. So you can rest assure. I'm simply following what Her Majesty's ordered, and she will have my head if you didn't come back in one piece. You don't think there's only Thoryvós in this kingdom, right?"

After shooting Kohaku a blank gaze which he didn't bother to care, the third Divo left. Moments later, Weiss walked out and stated that she is ready. Wilbert bowed to the two of them before leading the way to where the other three are. "Don't concern yourself too much with what Drei said. That's just how he always is." Kohaku said to Wilbert as they walked.

"I'm very privileged that you actually worry for me." Wilbert grinned brightly again, which Kohaku just sighed at as they stopped where Aria's room is, only to see that Ren and Emma are also there too. "It's great to find everyone here. Are you all ready?" Kohaku asked them.

"Oh, but if you're looking for a dress, I think mine are too small for you. We should ask Aria. She's almost as tall as you." "Ah, that's true. And she's actually taller than me." Ren swung his legs back and forth underneath the chair, his feet dragging on the floor slightly as he watched Emma finish her packing. "It seems unfair that you aren't allowed to wear pants here. Surely you wouldn't have to pack so much then." XX
When Emma was done, Ren stood and put the chair back in its place, grabbing his own luggage and waiting for her outside the room. "I wonder if I could pass as a girl if you two put enough makeup on me. That could make for a really fun prank~" He said, grinning as Emma took his hand and led him down the hall toward Aria's room, smiling back at him as they went. "Aria! Ren here has a question for you!" XXX
Now, Ren didn't particularly like Aria, for no reason at all really, though he would never be outwardly rude to her, especially not in front of Emma, since the two were friends. And it wasn't as if they didn't get along either, they simply wouldn't hang out together in their free time without Emma there. So Ren smiled. "Emma! Ren! What a marvelous surprise the two of you dropping on me like this! How can I help you?" XX
"I had an epiphany and would like to try on a dress~ Though we should probably wait 'till we get back for that, I think we might get in trouble if we mess around too long." Ren said, turning toward the footsteps that were approaching. Kohaku, Weiss, and Wilbert van Lorentz - the Imperial Army's Head Commander - were apparently passing by on their way out of the castle. "It's great to find everyone here. Are you all ready?" Kohaku asked. "Yup! Ready to go kick Thoryvos butt!" XXX
Ren, Emma, and Aria joined the other three, and the group made their way down the long winding castle hallways and out into the courtyard, where the rest of the convoy was waiting. Seeing that Hideo was still in the stables - likely spoiling his horse to no end - Ren crept over toward the stable doors and snuck up behind his friend, who was coincidentally lost in thought and didn't see him coming. "Boo!" XXX

Once he'd finished saddling Hana and securing his luggage into the saddle bags, Hideo took the time to brush her mane, waiting patiently for the others to join him. In all honesty, he didn't really want them to show up, but they had a job to do and his annoyed reluctance to leave the castle wasn't going to get in the way of that. XXX
After Hide had accepted the creepy black flower's ambiguous invitation so long ago, he had been confused, but had hardly given a damn about the unexplained circumstances. All he had cared about was the guilt and self-loathing that refused to leave his mind after he'd destroyed his relationship with the only person who had ever truly cared for him. It was the only reason he didn't get along with others. XX
Especially with the other Divas and Divos. Hideo practically refused to get involved with them any more than he had to, which mostly ended with everyone thinking he was an ass, though that wasn't really a lie either. For the most part, he was just too scared of making bonds and breaking them, his conscience was too self conscious for him to not worry about hurting others - alongside not wanting to get hurt himself. XX
"Boo!" Hideo jolted slightly, suddenly snapped out of his reverie, and dropped the brush he was using to comb Hana's mane in the process. "Don't you have anything better to do than annoy the hell out of me?" Hide grumbled, shooting a glare at Ren as he bent down to pick up the brush and fix his hair. "Well, maybe if I annoy the hell out of you enough, you'll become less of a jerk towards everyone else!" XXXX
Hide glared at Ren again and put the brush away, leading Hana out of the stable as Ren hopped off to ready his own horse. As expected, everyone else was waiting when he exited, though the other Divas and Divos were still readying their horses. It didn't take long before they were all ready to depart. Hideo spent those few minutes twirling his artifact around his finger, the tiny blue stone moving in and out of his field of vision. How do these operate if there's no other magic in Rapsodia? XX

Aria had waited for a few moment waiting for Ren and Emma to speak. Once they did Aria's eyes went wide with excitement. "Oh a dress? I think that's a great idea! You'd look great in a dress, oh I have so many that would look great on you!" She took a second to take a deep breath, it was an exciting idea but Ren was right there was no time to worry about cross dressing and make overs now. There were monsters to fight, and people to save. From the corner of her eye she noticed Kohaku walking towards them with Wilbert at his side. "It's great to find everyone here. Are you all ready?" Aria gave him a quick nod as she disappeared within her room, grabbing her rather heavy bags with surprising ease.

"Yup all ready! Lets get going shall we?" Once she exited her room she walked with the others as they went down to the stables, almost ready to depart. Once they reached the stables she took a look around noticing Hide already with his horse, grooming it for the trip. It was surprising to see him so tender with the creature. She moved to go say hello, then she of course remembered how much of a loner the boy was. Best simply to go prepare her own horse.

She walked slowly up to her mare, a strong but beautiful sliver creature. She had named her Cadence. An appropriate name if she ever heard one. Walking up to Cadence Aria gave her a silent pat on the neck as she saddled her up and loaded the creature with her bags and necessities.

It didn't take long for the others to finish saddling up their respective mounts, and soon they were all ready to make their trip. As they rode out she looked past the horizon, letting cadence trot up beside Emma. The best chance she had of earning a genuine friendly conversation for the long trip ahead. "Oh this is so exciting.! Travelling is always so much fun, even if we have to beat up a monster or two when we get there."

▬▬▬ WEISS FALK

Weiss watched as Ren, Emma and Aria joined her, Wilbert and Kohaku before they all started heading towards the courtyard and out to the stables where all of their horses were being kept for whenever their next journey would be. Hideo was already there grooming his own horse and preparing them for the trip, and the others had branched off to do the same. She, in turn, walked up to her own horse, who she had named Caecilia. She caressed the horse's golden-coat before loading up all of her bags.

Weiss was very much trying to keep her mind off of the reason they were traveling to Iremia, and the eventually fight with Thoryvos that would occur sometime during the whole trip. Thinking about it would just bring up unnecessary worry about whether or not everything would go as planned, and though unhealthy, it was much better to keep those feeling stored away in some place dark then to let them hang over your shoulders like a heavy winter coat.

She gracefully — well, as gracefully as one could anyways — mounted the horse and trotted little ways away from the stables. Weiss hadn't taken to horse riding as well as she had hoped, and given that they didn't spend much time on the horses over the past year, she still wasn't feeling very confident when she rode one.

After getting fully situated and in a somewhat comfortable position on the saddle, Weiss was the last to finish getting prepared and waited until they headed off on their way to Iremia.

As his fellow Divas and Divos walked out from Aria's room, Kohaku felt a little bit amusing at how they react to the upcoming mission. Well, after all, the three of them are of the brighter side of the six of them so it wasn't so surprising to see that they're always enthusiastic and be ready to raise their swords, even though they've known for sure that they're putting their lives on thin line here. Kohaku is never afraid of the Thoryvós, and he's definitely not a coward either. But, no matter how courageous he might be, the thought of dying on the battlefield feels both daunting and honorable. However, now it's not the time to concern himself too much over it.

"I'm glad you're all ready. Let's go then." Kohaku smiled lightly to them, which Wilbert playfully whistled at, earning him a glare. Seriously, what is there to like about me that riled him up that much? Kohaku thought as they began to move and sighed quietly to himself. Well, it's not like this was the first time he was being gone for, not in this world, anyway. Wilbert is a good man, but Kohaku has no intention of falling in love or something like that, or at least, not now. It's already painful enough having his heart broken for once already, so making any ties that are more intimate than friendships or companionship right now is an idiotic thing do do.

When they made it to the Royal Stable, Hideo was already there, as expected. Along with him are the other soldiers tasked to accompany them to Iremía. They've been armed for battle and are packed with any other supplies they needed on their journey. However, what Kohaku didn't expect that Adelheid was also there, apparently giving the soldiers directions and orders. Kohaku shook his head. Like many other would suspect, the Royal Advisor always seems to emit an unreliable aura, knowing how ambitious a man he is. But for now, he still managed to earn Queen Ardelia's trust, so there's no reason for Kohaku to doubt the man, yet.

Wilbert helped Kohaku to hang his stuffs on the hook over the saddle, but he doesn't need any help climbing the horse and sat firmly on its' back. It was a white horse which seemed to like Kohaku the first time he saw him, so he doesn't have much trouble choosing his trustworthy steed. Like his comrades, he also gave the horse a name - Yuki, because it is as white as snow. When everyone is ready, Adelheid accompanied them all to the main gate of the palace. "Well, this is it then. In place of Her Majesty, I hope you all will accomplish this mission." The Advisor smiled and bowed to them respectfully, before giving Weiss a gaze, "Especially you, my graceful Lady Sechs."

And with that said, they set off to the city of Iremía. Riding at the front is Wilbert, with Kohaku just close behind him. It going to take at least 3 days to make it there, and the journey definitely will not be a smooth ride. After leaving the capital, they spent half of the day riding through the field and the forest. Luckily, these areas are free of Thoryvós. Proceeding to spend the night at a town on their way, they set off once again the following morning. On their ways, as usual, they didn't interact much and Kohaku was no exception, especially with Wilbert wrapping around his finger. Though surprisingly, it wasn't unpleasant, as the man had shown him a lot of new things he never saw before.

Leaving the town, the convoy continued to set off to the mountain pass. However, little did they expect that there are companies waiting for them. As they still peacefully rode through the rocky path, Kohaku suddenly felt some sinister presences whence they stood, and called everyone to halt. Soon after, the ground shook violently as thousands of stones, pebbles and rocks around them floated and materialized into rock monsters of different shapes and sizes. There are at least 50 of them and everyone is now being surrounded by them. It goes without saying that they are the Thoryvós.

"Just as I thought, it's only a matter of time before we run into them." Kohaku commented as he jumped down from Yuki's back, "Please watch after the soldiers and yourself, Sir Wilbert. Don't get yourself killed."

Wilbert grinned again while staying back along with the other soldiers. After the other Divas and Divos have also got down from their horses, Kohaku remarked, "Everyone, let's sing."

When the other five members of his group were saddled up and ready to leave, Hide let his fingers drift from the ring and instead to his reigns as he moved Hana closer toward the rest of the convoy. Out of pure habit, he pulled up on one side of Kohaku, shooting Wilbert a look of disdain before noticing Adelheid's presence, to whom his frown noticeably deepened. If Hide hated Wilbert, he despised Adelheid. XX
There were many reasons for him having felt this way toward the Queen's advisor, the first and foremost being that Adelheid was quite possibly the shadiest, most vague and completely untrustworthy man Hideo had ever laid eyes on. Another point was how the man acted toward Weiss. "Well, this is it then. In place of Her Majesty, I hope you all will accomplish this mission." Here it comes... "Especially you, my graceful Lady Sechs." And there it is, the creepy farewell to Weiss. Ugh. XX
Rolling his eyes at Adelheid, Hide edged his horse gently forward as the convoy started on their journey. Not long into their travels, Ren fell into place at Hideo's side, proceeding to go on about whatever he and Emma had been talking about after he'd left their presence. Which really defeated the point of him leaving, but there wasn't much else to do, so Hide listened half-heartedly to his friend's ranting. XX
All during the journey, through fields of tall grass and thick forested areas, Hide quietly observed how everyone else in the convoy interacted with one another. Ren, ever the chatterbox, chatted ceaselessly with anyone who had the balls to put up with him. Hide almost felt bad for the awkward palace soldiers who held too much respect for Ren to turn away his conversation when he became a nuisance. XXX
They stayed the night in a small-town inn and set off again early the next morning, until they finally reached the forest in which the cave stood. Of course, their enemy had no plans of waiting for them to reach the cave, as before they even got there, the stones around them rose into a crowd of creatures. "Well, that didn't take long. Perhaps they'll allow us to get this fight over with quickly so we can go back home." XX
"Everyone, let's sing." Kohaku said, taking the lead as usual. Hideo frowned. "Duh, what else do you think we're gonna do?" Clearing his throat, Hide slid gracefully down off his horse and held his hand out in front of him, quietly murmuring the lyrics to a song he still hated hearing. I was searching for the reason I'm able to remain myself... The ring around his finger appeared to turn liquid, flowing in silver tendrils around his fingers and into his palm, where it stretched out into a sword. XXX
Well, what are we waiting for? We might as well get this over with before any of the Queen's precious soldiers get killed. Gripping his sword tight in his hand, Hide took off toward the nearest Thoryvos, ducking under its swing and effectively slicing the creature in half, stopping a moment to watch it dissolve into a pile of stone chunks. XX
