Sylaen Avians
These creatures are stunning with their beauty, that very essence giving them incredible vanity to all that are of the winged-race. Their pride is their sole weakness, leaving them vulnerable to corruption, a corruption led to believe to cause Lothe; a disease that bends Sylaens into Fallen.

These creatures live on the island, Sovanala, by choice as Sylaen's would be considered extreme isolationists and do not dabble into the events with other nations. This is the sole reason why Sylaen's are spoken of next-to-none, almost forgotten entirely by the mainlanders as never before in the history of the world has a Sylaen spoken to any outside their race.

Sylaen's are always pure blooded, never mixing into another species due to their vanity, so it leaves little to the variety of racial physical traits they hold. Always do they have ivory hair, brilliant crimson hued eyes, and all will tower over mortals as Sylaens' heights will range from six to seven feet. The most distinguishing of their features would be the snowy wings protruding from the backs, that allow for flight, as well as their pointed ears which cause Sylaen's to have higher hearing ability than mortals.

Castes

• Cordea
  Those that govern and rule over the Sylaens as a council. The only possible way that Cordeas could ever be overridden in rule is if an Ascended were to come into fruition once more, though this is the most rare event in Sylaen history. They do not fight in combat in the War for Eternity, yet only act as the voices of the Sylaen armies. Faces, not warriors. Politicians.
  
  
• Damia
  The warriors of Sylaens, always thrust into the chaos that is the war these people have been waging for generations now. They are the elite caste and are regarded more highly than the Cordea by far. These arcane warriors are the ones that shall bring about the victory to the Sylaens, earning them all Eternity.
  
  
• Nlyphs
  The simple common caste of Sylaens; the normal beings of Sovanala. These are the ones that make every day living go round, the merchants, the servants, the working class. They are the ones that are found too weak to wield the arcane arts whether they be able to hold weapon or not.
  
  
• Xhes
  Sometimes, there are those that are stripped from their caste completely and sent to places unknown to the Sylaen people. These are the ones that have abused their privilege in wielding the arcane. These Sylaens, however, are not those that have succumbed to the Lothe disease, and yet till retain their ability to wield the arcane arts. It is not hard to tell which Sylaen belong to the Xhes class, for a wing is ripped from their backs to ruin that ability of flight, something every Sylaen loves and adores.
  
  
• Ascended

• Fallen
  Those that have come to the unfortunate end of being consumed by the arcane arts, having magic literally disease them and change Sylaens into something else entirely even though they still resemble the same race. Wings shall darken, as will the need for bloodlust. This disease, however, allows the Sylaen to wield the arcane without the use of runes which still to this day, goes completely unanswered.
