Before: Illia was very sweet, fun loving, and gentle. She was someone who put the needs of other people before her own, and would sacrifice anything to make others happy. She was very outgoing, uppity, and even hyper sometimes. Usually she wanted to make friends with everyone and she would treat them as if they had been her best friends forever. She had been deemed as motherly by people because she is always taking care of everyone else. She was someone who would sugar coat things to spare your feelings. She was loyal, never a person to kiss and tell, and was always by the side of her friends. She was someone whose shoulder you could cry on when you needed to and she would not judge, and someone who would listen to your troubles all night. Advice however, wasn't her strong suit for the following reason. She was very sheltered, very naive. Not only naive but she was really gullible, and tended to jump the gun a lot. Whatever made people happy. She always wanted smiles on people's faces. She was someone easily taken advantage of and easily talked into doing things. She always thought she saw the best in everyone, but sometimes it really wasn't there. She got her feelings hurt easily, an emotionally fragile person, but would hide it. Illia was someone to suffer in silence while she put a smile on for the world. She would seems a bit thick, not really being able to catch on to certain situations or references from people. Her judgement was horrible and she was too innocent for her own good.
After: She is still a good person, somewhat the person she once was but she has changed a bit. She no longer puts the world before herself. She knows how to prioritize things, and wont let herself suffer in place of others. She has become thick skinned, no longer caring what people say to her or think of her. She believes that as long as she is happy with herself and her situation it's okay. She's not very trusting, she makes people earn her trust and respect and is a bit distant until they have done so. The innocent and naive her has seen harsh realities, so innocent and naive she is no more. She isn't gullible, and she gets really annoyed by people who are even though she once was. She has become quite serious, the constant smile she had has disappeared, there are times she grins and she is capable of laughing just fine. However, it's almost as if she acts that the world isn't worthy of her smile. She tends to think out situations and scenarios a lot before she does anything. She has gained a great deal of patience and has become a very independent person. She doesn't like to rely on anyone and will refuse help from anyone as well. She can get annoyed easily now but she doesn't show it, and she does seem to have a bit of a temper but she controls it well. She's become quite brave and extremely stubborn and determined, and she will not sugar coat anything anymore. She is quick to stick up for herself or sometimes she'll feel you aren't even worth her time and walk away.
History of Past Relationship: Illia's first and only relationship was with a boy that both physically and verbally abused her. However, that was not how things started. Illia started liking John, because he was different. He was sweet, kind, and funny and seemed to pay her a lot of attention. He would do things for her instead of the other way around which is how it usually was. The two started dating and things were going fine. They were both very lovey dovey always holding hands always together around school. He seemed to spoil her and she loved it. However, this only lasted so long. Eventually, he started talking down to her. He would call her names in front of his friends, make fun of her, and laugh at her. He would then treat her like his personal slave and make her fetch him things. Fetch was a word he would use as well as he would call her his b**** when near his friends. When the two were alone he would speak rudely to her, eventually she started speaking up about it and he started hitting her, hard.
At first he would only slap her, and repeat himself and she would obey him. Because she loved him. However, then he would just start beating her, grabbing her by the hair and throwing her around. He would shout at her at the top of his lungs and throw things at her. Such as the beer bottle he was drinking out of, underage drinking meant nothing to him apparently. He was a few years older than she, so he was larger. A few times he put her into the hospital but she had always used excuses such as she fell down the stairs, she tripped and fell onto something...she accidentally burned herself with the curling iron. She didn't understand why he would treat her this way, and she started to plead with him to stop. Saying she loved him, asking why he hurt her. But nothing would change and he would only laugh at her. The days which he was sweet and caring like nothing happened were the things that sucked her in. It wasn't until one day when her little sister should visit that an all out fight between the two of the happened, and the little sister tried to stop it, eventually ending up with him beating her into a coma. That was the last straw.
History: Illia grew up a very sheltered child - by her mother at least. Most of the time her father wasn't around, and was out on business or some place else. He was the strict one of the family, the one who made all the rules, but since he was not there most of the time, his daughter was not raised as he planned. Illia's mother babied her all throughout her childhood, she treated her as if she couldn't do anything for herself and tried to do everything for her. She never wanted her 'baby' to get hurt, so she sheltered her from the real world, and would dodge questions and conversations she felt her daughter should not have or know about. Illia was kept in a little bubble, made to believe the world is perfect and everyone in it is a good person. Growing up she felt as if her father abandoned her and that he didn't love her, because when he came back from work he usually just ate and went to sleep. When in truth he cherished his daughter, and worked a longer, harder job just so he could provide for her and his wife. Illia was quite privileged, she grew up spoiled with everything she wanted, but she didn't want much, she just like being around people. She was around company a lot because of her father's business, and was often the one to serve and cater to them.
In school Illia did exceptionally well, she got good grades was always on the honor roll, was never late, had perfect attendance. However, her best subject was always music. Band and choir were places she excelled. She eventually became recognized in junior high, teachers telling her she should work hard for scholarships after high school. High schools sought her out for their programs. It was when she got the 'boyfriend' that her life took a turn for the worse, she started doing bad in school, she started coming home with bruises, ended up in the hospital a few times. She would eventually after a long while be rid of him, now she feels as if she has wasted her life away living for other people and being controlled. She wants to live her life her way.
Talent: Illia's talents revolve around music. She is a brilliant singer in the languages korean, japanese, and though it took her a while english. She plays violin and piano, which were her starting instruments as well as guitar which she learned to accompany singing sometimes. She writes her own lyrics as well as makes her own compositions, at times she uses computers to edit and mix music as well. She is someone who is able to learn and play any instrument she picks up almost instantly. She's extraordinarily good at the ones she currently plays, every now and again she teaches herself new ones.

Clothing Style: Illia doesn't really have a defined style. She used to dress very prim and proper, and always wore dresses, however she has a tendency now not to wear any dresses. It's not that she dislikes them, she loves them, she just no longer wears them. Extra: All throughout her life Illia did whatever everyone else wanted her to do. How they wanted her to do it. Quite frankly at times she wasn't sure if she liked it, or she 'liked it' because they wanted her to. She wasn't sure who she was at times. She's tired of the life that other people have forced her to live, that life wasn't much in the first place. She wants to show people up, the ones that took advantage of her, the ones she never knew were taking advantage of her until after the fact. She wants to live.
