Physical Description
Min's facial features are obviously Korean. His skin is clear except for some old scars and doesn't colour easily. He's pretty tall at 5'9''. Though he looks thin, he has a surprising amount of lean muscle from his time on the swim team. Even though he doesn't exercise much anymore, he still does stretches in the morning. He sometimes emphasizes phrases by dramatically pushing his glasses up before he speaks. He also does this to subtly flip people off. He dresses simply and comfortably, nothing too tight or overly loose-fitting. Of course, he owns his own lab coat. He tends to slouch when he sits, but he walks in neat strides. He has a habit of biting his lip while he thinks. He claims it helps him keep his mind on the right topic. He keeps telling himself to get a haircut, but can't be bothered. He doesn't like to smile wide enough to show his teeth because he thinks it looks awkward. He has the ability to raise one eyebrow at a time and can roll his tongue.
Personality
Min holds a good reputation in his college, and is well known to be willing to help slackers for a price. When he isn't swamped by schoolwork, Min feels the need to keep busy. This means he occasionally makes a huge meal, cleans more than just his room, or starts one of those DIY projects that are all over the internet. If he doesn't feel like moving around he becomes a blanket burrito and bingewatches/reads something. He is often seen playing games on his phone, but it is off limits to anyone else. It's not that he's afraid his high score on crossy road will get beaten. He's just not comfortable showing off his photo album. Christ, he doesn't collect nudes or anything. He takes photos of things that interest him, whether it's a landscape, a person, a weird bug, or patterns of mold. The appeal is often lost on his friends, and he doesn't appreciate their comments. Min knows a little about a lot. It's easy for him to keep a conversation going, even if it's about things he doesn't really care for. He doesn't like to ruin a relationship without a big reason.
Given that, when Min gets mad he is mad. Luckily he is pretty good at keeping himself in check. His poker face is on point. He can even control his swearing. The way to figure out whether Min is feeling alright is to give him a sniff. Whenever he's in a bad place, he ends up buying a pack of cigarettes. It's an old habit. There was a time when he used to smoke pretty regularly, but that was before he had to spend his cash renting a place. His parents are willing to pay for his education, but they expect him to get a job for everything else. He's a little disappointed that he couldn't afford the apartment on his own. Min is one of those people who need to know they own a space. This doesn't mean he's a loner, just that he likes to have a place where he is certain he can be alone and fully himself. Only people he trusts very much are allowed in his room without a decent excuse.

Background
Min was born in the US. His father was as well, while his mother moved over after their marriage. However, because of their looks there are many who don't expect them nor Min to speak English as well as they do. He grew up with friends who don't look like him and has heard many racist remarks. He only knows a handful of other Korean kids. It didn't really bother him; he didn't know any other life, and he still had fun with everyone. However, the American environment did not suit his mother, and she wanted her child to learn what she grew up with. Min learned to cook because Korean food is a hassle to purchase, and he knows he will miss her cooking. His father was confused by how much of a hard time she had adjusting. There are times when she obviously regrets coming with him, though she says she could never regret marrying him. For Min, this is the first time living outside of Kansas. He's not nervous really; he's been ready to move out since he started high school. His parents are nice, but the tension between them became more and more apparent as he grew older. Sometimes, when he stays up late, he hears them talk about splitting up after he moves out. Not divorce, just.. living apart. As much as his father would like to keep her close to him, he can't leave his job. His mother doesn't want to stay. Min doesn't try to think about it much, but being aware of the possibility of both his parents moving and leaving him alone spurred some proactive measures. He's already saved up some cash from part time jobs, so he has emergency money and everything. His experience has taught him to save wherever he can. He wants to be a kid that they don't have to worry about.
Relationships
Because of Min, no one is allowed to walk around 403 with their shoes on. Not only is this a rule he grew up with, he believes it keeps the room much cleaner that way. This is very important since he is not eager to steam the floor. He has purchased slippers for any guests who may find this strange, though personally he likes to go barefooted.
Hector
Min has a very hard time believing he and Hector are only one year apart in age. He has moments when he subconsciously treats him like a younger child. He tries to give Hector things to do during the day, even if its just bedazzling a presentation for one of his classmates.
Noodle
When the dragons first hatched, Min was a little pissed off that the one that imprinted on him just happened to be the Korean one. Noodle is very important to Min. He cares about her a lot, but doesn't want her to end up a spoiled brat. He tries to be firm without being strict. He has loads of photos of her because the little dragon grows up so quickly. He will never admit that his heart melted the first him she introduced him to someone as her dad.
Other
He would like to live in Seoul for a while after he graduates. Maybe learn to speak Korean properly.
